I recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The leafy, peaceful location is easily accessible from the city centre, and the lounge/foyer is both comfortable and quiet—a great spot to relax. The staff were wonderful, consistently friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the water was always hot with excellent pressure. Although they seem to be renovating parts of the hotel, I was neither disturbed nor disappointed. I'm very glad to have found this place

The TV wasn't connected to Wi-Fi, but it wasn't really an issue. There was plenty to watch on regular TV when I wanted something to unwind with.

Large modern rooms. . Free parking and easy check in process. Easy access to Wolverhampton city centre and just off A41 so not far off M6 M54 Stayed here a few times now through work and it's ideal as free parking onsite for our large work van, staff are friendly and professional. Price is great and the room is well equipped. It's quite at night and always get a good sleep there . It's only place we will stay now when working down that way.

Location, room facilities, bed comfy, some noise from neighbours at 3@m, great selection of TV channels & brand new tv. Lovely staff

Some marks on wall needed to be repainted & unfinished paintwork in the bathroom didn't bother us though!! The window was open when we arrived & didn't feel like closing it or it would've been warm Didn't see any temperature controls in the room Would stay again based on rate we paid wouldn't pay more without little improvement. Appreciate the money spent so far & that the Connaught has not become derelict as have some childhood memories there🙏 💕💖

The rooms were very nice clean n spacious with a lush comfy bed a nice big TV great hanging space for clothes a desk n chair absolutely great layout. The bathroom was clean n big enough with a nice shower unit. The downside the door opened inward which caused a few problems getting out. The staff were lovely n the on site free parking was great. Will definitely stay again 😊

The hotel seems to be getting refurbished currently n is a bit dated n tired. I'm sure once the work is done it will look great. The lift wasn't the best either but worked ok bar the door not opening very well. Location is a bit out the way but quiet enough. It's a walk to pubs n eating places but not to far from the centre.

I arrived just after 2200hrs having booked through Booking.com a few minutes before. The night porter ? was extremely helpful and very pleasant booking me in. I was so pleased to have found a bed because I had driven up from South Devon to Chesterfield for a funeral that day, then driven over the Peak District to Penkridge to visit a friend that evening and had a room booked and paid for at the "Wolves Living" establishment 390 Stafford Rd, Wolverhampton. I arrived there at the appointed time to find it was a private house with no doorbell and in darkness and the phoenix number wasn't taking calls !. I stood around banging on the door constantly until 10pm with no reply ! I then gave up and booked the Connaught thankfully, so as to avoid another 3.5 hours driving back down to Devon in the dark at the age of 75. I am so very glad your hotel was so accommodating and I had a great night's sleep,. Thankyou so very much Connaught !!!

We were made very welcome from the start The staff make sure that uf anything they can help you with they will good support right through Parking facilities was perfect The accommodation was perfect for all my needs and the location was excellent for my needs also overall a good place to stay I would most definitely stay again

Exactly what you would expect for the price. Great value for money.

Bathroom door handle needs a repair, extractor fan not working. Two screw holes in need of poly filler and paint. Nothing to detract from Comfort but aesthetically unpleasing and would only take one hour to fix.

Is a nice hotel. Comfy bed, good size bathroom. Very clean. I think is recently refurbished/renovated. It has all the necessary needed amenities. Adam and Sam customer service was exceptional. They were so friendly and very helpful. Will definitely visit again. Thank you 😊

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room well laid out and well equipped. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room temp was perfect and windows opened and we’re secure allowing for fresh air. There is lots of free parking just at the back of the hotel. Also there’s a nice little bar next to reception that’s open til late.

The windows had condensation that never cleared. The lift was a bit dodgy. Doors slamming were annoying but that’s pretty standard in hotel stays. Otherwise it was very quiet!

all i can say there were a few maintenance issues initally . However each and every one of the reception staff deserve a raise and a good pat on the back. Everyone one of the welcoming , helpful , friendly ,efficient . Everyone of them got straight onto any problems and sorted them straight away. can recommend the Connaught because of these lovely ladies and gents . well done and thanks for making my stay more enjoyable at this difficult time .

maintenance issues but were sorted very quickly by reception staff . thanks
