Comfortable, safe, clean and perfect location. Friendly people and good support from host - we felt relaxed and happy. We loved the double aspect of the room as the weather was extremely warm and we could open plenty of windows. The host kindly brought us a fan as well. Great that we had access to the kitchen which was extremely clean; the other guests we met were friendly and helpful. We weren’t disturbed at all by other residents.
Pillows were a bit hard and uncomfortable. The view from the room was not scenic but we weren’t bothered by this as we knew the area and it was what we expected. We are early risers and we noticed a bit of noise from the gardening company beneath our accommodation setting up but this didn’t particularly bother us as it took place at a reasonable time for us.

What you get for the price is really fantastic. Value for money is superb. It’s not 5 star fair enough but honestly, for working away or just using as a base it’s second to none.
It’s tucked away behind the Main Street, which is great for privacy and peace and quiet, but getting to it involves a pitch black alley. Some movement activated lighting would improve the feeling of safety particularly for families. One small thing that would make a huge difference, the TV was far too small for the size of the room. Again I appreciate the price point of the room but the cost difference between a 24” and a 43” TV is about £60.. That would have made a huge difference because staying in the room instead of going out for something to do becomes much more realistic.

The hotelier was very friendly and welcoming. My suitcase was taken upstairs to my, room. I was shown to the shared kitchen and all its facilities explained. As I entered the property I could smell the cleanest of the property, which continued throughout. My room was clean, warm, welcoming, very well presented and spacious. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. My two nights was very comfortable, and I woke each morning refreshed after a restful and peaceful night sleep. The location was perfect, with a large section of shops and places to eat. There were also a section of buses to the Town Centre. However, on two occasions I chose to walk to and from the Town Centre. I found the local people very friendly and helpful, especially the shop assistant at Costa. A message to hotelier, thank you for a memorable stay!😄👌👏🏼
I loved everything about the property.

It was very, very clean, which made me happy. It is a very spacious room. Good hangers and hanging space. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The kitchenette was clean. The host sourced a local taxi number for me, which I was gald about because I had trouble sorting out my Uber app. I liked that I liked that the tv had a range of channels.
The shower was a bit small as I'm on the heavy side, so getting in and out and moving around inside of it was a little difficult. The fridge was very full on my first night but was cleared the next morning. As I have bad knees, the stairs were a little troublesome going up, but that did not take away from my stay.

The room was spotlessly clean as were all the facilities. The communal kitchenette offered tea, coffee, fresh milk, bread, butter and cereals. The owner was friendly and helpful. Quiet at night. Good shower in bathroom. Handy for Boldmere High Street. If you like curry, the restaurant 'Simla' (busy) on opposite side of road was excellent. Not all Indian restaurants in the area are as good. Wetherspoon's nearby (150m), if you like that sort of thing. Tesco's 300m.
The location was a little obscure, with on-site parking that could be a little 'tight' at times. Dont expect a wonderful view from the window

Location is fantastic, literally behind a busy high street with lots of shops and restaurants Hosts gave such detailed info before arrival Thank you so much for not ripping us off, we booked this as it was fairly close to Ozzys farewell gig. Very commendable to not massively inflate your prices like other places We had everything we needed for a short stay. Would recommend and deffo stay again
Would just like a king size bed

What a lovely weekend we have just spent here. Its really clean and comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at Sutton Park Lodge. The bed was so comfortable and the shower room/ toilet was nice too. Nice and quiet. And a well stocked kitchen. I did see a member of staff in passing. And he enquired if everything was ok. And he reassured me if we had any problems then don't hesitate to call. We will definitly stay again. Thank you we had a wonderful stay. 😊
There wasn't anything not to like.

The room was a good size and very clean and pleasant, good shower, the bed was very comfortable, great night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this B&B.
I would have liked to look out the windows, but the room i was in the glass was frosted so I was unable to see for example what the weather was like, I understand the privacy part but it would be nice to look outside

The place was very clean and homely. Easy to find and had plenty of parking spaces situated outside the building. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Nice to have access to the kitchen and the use of fridge/microwave/teas/coffees etc.
The towels werent very soft and the beds were a little harder than what im used to but i still managed to sleep. The only downside is location next to a town, so there were some works going on at 8.30 am which was a pain but to be very expected!

This is a no frills accommodation that does what it says on the tin. Room comfortable and clean. We were dropping bags off and going straight out so spent very little time there. There was a small kitchen area which looked ok bit we didn't use. Location not particularly picturesque, at the back of some shops and facing a car wash, but no trouble and not noisy overnight.
Sliding door to the bathroom had a massive gap so privacy was a bit lacking.
