The hotel is in a very good location, not far from Erdington town centre, and with a bus stop just at the front of the hotel as well. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very well setup, with everything you could really want for a short stay. It had a desk and chair, and also tea making facilities, along with a sink as well. The breakfast was fairly good, it was mainly self service, with tea, toast, fruit, etc, but was fairly good, considering the overall price of the room. The shared bathrooms in the hotel, were generally fairly clean, and they were also situated fairly close to the room as well.

It wasn't a big issue at all, but the staff sometimes have a habit of coming into the room early in the morning, before check out time, thinking that the person has already checked out, so the hotel should implement a system, which allows the staff to find out if a person has actually checked out of the hotel, before the staff can come into the room.

Great indian Bar next door serves fresh cooked indan starters & currys, Hotel staff have no problem with you bringing food back to the room, so great hotel service & then great staff member at reception was very polite, professional & helpful sorting my room. I had a nice comfortable stay. In a nice well maintained clean & comfortable room.

No plates, both hotel or restaurant next door don't offer plates for food. Note: The restaurant next door is a separate business from the hotel. Most regulars in bar next door, comented that the hotel has bit of reputation for allowing " ladys of the night " made me laugh, becuse i said im just staying the night, visting work related. Mabye, this is for the hotel to monitor. But dont let this put you off . it's a clean and safe, secure involvement with friendly staff on site... who are more than accomadating to help

The receptionist was a young chap of Polish origin called Pawell. He was very friendly and courteous and made me a cup of tea and chatted with me for about 30 mins about the area and things in general. In the time he also attended to other guests so did not compromise his professional obligations. Such service is rare in this day and age and it goes to his credit that he was so outgoing and decent. Between us we also fixed a mobile phone difficulty a guest visiting from the middle East was experiencing. In general a cascading friendly atmosphere was created by Pawell's friendly and helpful demeanour and I wish him every success in the hospitality trade to which he us very well suited.

Excellent service, room was spacious and comfortable, beds were excellent. Was able to fit wheelchair within the room even though it wasn't a disability access, just standard, receptionists were very polite, and accommodating to see if the room would be acceptable before booking.

Cooked breakfast would've been a better choice, better smoking areas would've been preferred, tv's would've been better being checked if they work ideally.

When I booked it looked like just a place to lay my head for the night. When I turned up, I could not believe how clean the room was. The bathroom was good enough for me to have my breakfast, I was shocked at the effort they take to keep the place clean and well stocked. Staff were polite and helpful. I was late for breakfast and they got me some breakfast and could not more helpful. This place is a hidden gem, looking from the road you would never guess how beautiful it is. I honestly felt that I had underpaid for my stay.

It was during the heat wave and the room has a tiny window at the top. This did not allow any meaningful ventilation. Maybe in future they could think of getting fans for the rooms, as heat waves are now a regular occurrence.

For the price, I wasn't expecting much but it was warm, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was basic but fine. The breakfast staff were smiling too. Parking here is good and the location is very accessible. The nearby streets and shopping area seem safe and have plenty of good, ethnic shops, especially afro-caribbean

There a quite a few rooms on each floor and only one shower/toilet. Fine for me but not great if you need easy toilet access or like a regular shower. I guess all the rooms gave a washbasin - my single did.

Had a lovely stay. I am a frequent visitor to the hotel. Lovely warm welcome with a smile. Hotel was lovely and quiet. Heating was excellent at a lovely warm temperature. Best part of my stay was the wonderful helpful and friendly chap on reception (pavlo if i remember correctly). He is a credit to the hotel and made my stay perfect. Thank you.

Bed was super comfy, room was warm and had a sink. Easy to find and in a good location for getting to and from Villa Park, via bus or a 45 min walk. Parking available. Lovely staff, who were really accommodating. Nice little Bar. Will definitely use this hotel again. Price was great.

Hotel is a bit dated, the shared bathroom wasn't great with light on timer switching off every 10 seconds! Walls and windows a bit thin so a little noisy in the room but the good points outway the not so good!

Fantastic value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is good value for money. Only bad thing was our room did not lock from the inside so made me a little nervous as a single mum that we were safe 😬

Making sure security is priority to ease worrying. An option of cooked breakfast maybe at extra cost ?

The location is perfect,close to people I know,the staff like Anthony,Charles and the sweet cleaning lady,very polite and friendly,really welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere.great place to stay ,I highly recommend.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
