Lovely stay, would definitely book this hotel again. Only stayed 1 night but the hotel ticked all boxes. Loved the little surprise prepared by the staff and wish more hotels would take their time to add a personal touch.

Would give a 10/10 but upon returning home I received an email about being signed up to their membership program. At no point was I asked or told about this during the stay (I wouldn't count fine print on the reg card as such).

Receeption staff and some of the cleaning staff was exceptionally good. The coloured skinned bunch went out of the way to help and their skill set to handle a vulnerable adult (preserving his energy, identity) in the best possible way is beyond comparison. Well done my friends!

Breakfast choices were inadequate. It is not a fault of the staff, I need to emphasise, those are management level decisions. I am, comparing this with my recent experience with a much less expensive hotel I stayed in Prague. I must say, yet, staff went out of the way to made me feel better by providing with specially made items.

I stay at Aloft on Friday 29th to Monday 1st September. When I first arrived I was greeted and checked in by 2 lovely staff members, I went up to my room. The room they gave me, the bed wasn’t done up, the pillows had stains, I called reception immediately and the Lady came up and changed my room right away. The room she changed me to was perfect as you can see in the videos. I was also happy that the room had a fridge because other hotels you have to pay a lot for certain rooms just to have a fridge which is unfair. The price I paid for the 3 nights was sooo good & the reviews is what definitely made me book it. I would definitely book with this hotel again.

Great breakfast, excellent value. Perfect location for the Hallam and Aston campus. The car parking in the Millennium Point multistorey was very easy. I was initially worried about leaving the car overnight but they have good CCTV coverage and the facility is locked from midnight until 6am. Also its location, right on the university campus, feels more secure than some I have used.

It was not clear to me when I made the reservation on Booking.com that the car parking was offsite, and I only discovered that when I received an email after booking. That should be made more clear. The parking turned out to be just fine though.

We have just come back from a nights stay here and we all loved it! The staff were very warm and welcoming. I let the hotel know beforehand that it was the birthday of two of the guests i was travelling with and when we arrived in our room they had wrote a message on the mirror and left a birthday desert! Which was a lovely touch. The room was very comfortable and we all had a lovely sleep. I booked to have breakfast with our stay which was also very nice and plenty of stuff to choose from. When i am next in Birmingham i will definitely be staying here again.

Couldnt fault anything to be honest

It was spacious, cool and clean with a lovely hot shower and a comfortable bed. The room was light and airy, quiet and the staff were pleasant. The only issue we had was that we didn't really know the area and kept getting a bit lost on the way to and from the main shopping area, but there were a few friendly people around willing to give us directions. The only thing I regret is not eating in the restaurant or taking advantage of the hotel bar.

The view from the window could have been better, but obviously it was quite built up where we were, so that's not really a criticism of the hotel, which we could not fault.

Very close to Millennium Point which is why I had travelled to Birmingham. 20 minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Area it was located in was close to university and was nice and felt safe. Staff very friendly. The meal I had in their restaurant in the evening was lovely. Check in process very smooth. Room nice and modern with a lovely bathroom.

The fridge in the room was a little noisy but after turning it off no problem! My room window just looked out onto a wall so no view but I guess you can't have it all.

Our stay at Aloft Birmingham Eastside was great! We were comfortable, the dinner and breakfast was tasty, the facilities were just what we needed, and the fitness centre was an added bonus! We stayed due to our daughter having day surgery at Birmingham Children's Hospital and the front desk went out of their way to leave a card, chocolates, colouring pages and pencils to welcome our daughter to our room when we returned. We appreciated this so much and our daughter was over the moon. Thank you for your kindness!

The interior and decor is bright and inviting and the location is right by town so that is nice that you don’t have to travel to get to the city centre. The rooms are clean and spacious . My friend and I stayed at the top floor with a lovely view of the city in the evening time with all the lights. I will definitely be returning. Lastly, the staff were very welcoming smiley and friendly and were there for any problems if we needed any support with anything .

The o my thing was that’s the door lock on our room was faulty and maybe if robes and slippers could be introduced with the room , that would be a plus

The cleanliness of the room, very clean on arrival and super comfy. I am a very particular person with OCD, so I struggle when staying away from home and was anxious prior to coming. But on walking into the hotel, the lobby was area was also very clean and welcoming, and this was carried out throughout the facilities. The added breakfast was a nice touch also, and it made the whole experience even better.

There isn't anything I didn't like about the hotel, other than there wasn't parking available. But this is pretty much everywhere now, unless it's outside of the city.
