Lovely stay, would definitely book this hotel again. Only stayed 1 night but the hotel ticked all boxes. Loved the little surprise prepared by the staff and wish more hotels would take their time to add a personal touch.

Would give a 10/10 but upon returning home I received an email about being signed up to their membership program. At no point was I asked or told about this during the stay (I wouldn't count fine print on the reg card as such).

Receeption staff and some of the cleaning staff was exceptionally good. The coloured skinned bunch went out of the way to help and their skill set to handle a vulnerable adult (preserving his energy, identity) in the best possible way is beyond comparison. Well done my friends!

Breakfast choices were inadequate. It is not a fault of the staff, I need to emphasise, those are management level decisions. I am, comparing this with my recent experience with a much less expensive hotel I stayed in Prague. I must say, yet, staff went out of the way to made me feel better by providing with specially made items.

It was spacious, cool and clean with a lovely hot shower and a comfortable bed. The room was light and airy, quiet and the staff were pleasant. The only issue we had was that we didn't really know the area and kept getting a bit lost on the way to and from the main shopping area, but there were a few friendly people around willing to give us directions. The only thing I regret is not eating in the restaurant or taking advantage of the hotel bar.

The view from the window could have been better, but obviously it was quite built up where we were, so that's not really a criticism of the hotel, which we could not fault.

Our stay at Aloft Birmingham Eastside was great! We were comfortable, the dinner and breakfast was tasty, the facilities were just what we needed, and the fitness centre was an added bonus! We stayed due to our daughter having day surgery at Birmingham Children's Hospital and the front desk went out of their way to leave a card, chocolates, colouring pages and pencils to welcome our daughter to our room when we returned. We appreciated this so much and our daughter was over the moon. Thank you for your kindness!

Unable to check-in early without incurring a charge.

The interior and decor is bright and inviting and the location is right by town so that is nice that you don’t have to travel to get to the city centre. The rooms are clean and spacious . My friend and I stayed at the top floor with a lovely view of the city in the evening time with all the lights. I will definitely be returning. Lastly, the staff were very welcoming smiley and friendly and were there for any problems if we needed any support with anything .

The o my thing was that’s the door lock on our room was faulty and maybe if robes and slippers could be introduced with the room , that would be a plus

The cleanliness of the room, very clean on arrival and super comfy. I am a very particular person with OCD, so I struggle when staying away from home and was anxious prior to coming. But on walking into the hotel, the lobby was area was also very clean and welcoming, and this was carried out throughout the facilities. The added breakfast was a nice touch also, and it made the whole experience even better.

There isn't anything I didn't like about the hotel, other than there wasn't parking available. But this is pretty much everywhere now, unless it's outside of the city.

Spacious shower, excellent desk with desk light, quiet and dark room, good breakfast, good beds. Frequent busses into town, bus stop nearby - but the centre of town and New Street and Moor Street train stations are only about a 15/20 minute walk away. Close to universities and the Conservatoire. The members of staff we met at the hotel were helpful and well informed about the town and how to navigate it.

The road works in Birmingham. They seem to have them everywhere !

I always stay at Aloft in Birmingham as they're so comfortable and convenient but my last experience has prompted me to finally leave a review. I realised i left my sentimental and favourite perfume behind after checking out of Aloft and returning home to London. I called Aloft who asked me to send an email with details. Within a few hours Aloft messaged me back to say they had found the item and even offered to arrange postage back to me as a gesture of free will covering all the costs. They have gone above and beyond and I honestly can't thank them enough.

2nd time staying at the Aloft hotel, was a pleasure to stay at again. Room was spotless upon arrival and we had everything we needed for the whole stay. We also arrived earlier than expected after a awful time travelling and were allowed an early check-in which was a god send. Outside of that, everything was clean, beds were comfy, we had no disturbances and everything was well stocked. I can't comment on the breakfast as we did not have it.

All my previous complaints were not an issue this time around, so I have to give the staff props for that. Only complaint I could put out there was the shower door in our room was a bit awkward, either it wouldn't close and bounce open into you, or you could move it outside and it would somewhat close but water would get all over the floor but this was a minor inconvenience.

I stayed over as I’d arranged my birthday party at the nearby Eagle and Ball. Several friends stayed at the hotel too. The hotel surprised me with an upgrade to a suite, happy birthday messages in the room and chocolates. The suite was amazing! Breakfast at £10 was good value and able to order poached eggs. Fantastic stay. Only negative was the parking ticket I received collecting my presents from the hotel. I was literally less than 5 minutes outside and he wouldn’t be reasoned with writing me a ticket. Not the hotels fault, but just a caution to other guests.
