This was a really nice, clean suite with lovely staff that is located right outside Moor Street station (about a 5 minute walk). The suite is actually positioned inside a shopping arcade, but you can enter it from the street. In the morning (and I assume evening) the hotel is locked off to only card owners, which is good because this is a busy area. The staff in particular looked after our bag pre check-in, and post check-out which was lovely too. The suite itself is nice, and is well kitted out with clean utensils. They try and make it feel homely , so there's evening socials on Monday and Tuesday, and as well as that there is an event map in your room. I was really impressed. There's plenty of options to eat out nearby, but the ingredients used for the breakfast were great and didn't feel cheap as well, which wasn't shown in the photos! You'll get a full cooked breakfast if you want, or a selection of fruits, pasteries and yoghurts.

The only slight negatives is that in our suite we found a (I presume interconnected) locked door between you and the next suite. It seemed somewhat easy to open (we didn't try) as it only had a free lock, but it was off-putting. As well as this, you can hear the noise quite easily between your suite and the next. For the price I wish we had a selection of a room there. However, the rest of the suite was extremely noise-proof, which was excellent considering the area is right in the middle of Birmingham central.

Close to the station, but not right next to it, the hotel is a quiet oasis in a busy part of the city. As we had to use the train every day the location was just right. The street it is in is not that salubrious, like many streets in this area, but as soon as you enter the hotel it is calm, super clean and friendly. Everything about the room is good. The breakfast is good as well. It was also a good room to work in, with a comfortable work chair and well-lit desk. If we were going back to Birmingham, we would return to this hotel.

We always turn off the air-conditioning when we enter a room, set to too cold, but the cleaning person always turned it back on even though the fact we had turned it off is a clear indication we didn't want it. This meant the room was always too cold when we came back to it. In fact, you couldn't completely kill the noise of some sort of air conditioning or ventilation coming through a vent in the kitchen area. Still, we managed to sleep anyway, as the bed is comfortable.

It was my second visit. The first one was in January and was fabulous. This time, room 514 was assigned to me which seemed to be a little bit less spacious than my room in January, but still large and equipped enough. The aisle between the lift and my room smelt bad all time (this turned me off), and had some stains. There were issues with lifts too. Breakfast could be further enriched with more available (preferably not upon request) vegetarian/seafood options.

The only problem I did have was the booking , I’d booked a cancellation free room, so I thought as I wasn’t sure who was going at first. I then cancelled the booking as people had dropped out (I should have just cancelled the people that had dropped out, my mistake) and rebooked. Because I rebooked I was charged £95 for cancelling which made the rooms more expensive than I had told my friends. I did call the hotel and they sent me back to booking.com which then sent me back to you and I was told there was nothing that could be done, which I think was abit harsh being that I’d rebooked with yourselves . I also wrote an email and heard nothing

A very pleasant stay – great value for money The hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always willing to help. Breakfast was decent, especially considering the price. We really appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee, tea, and water – a nice touch that made us feel welcome. The reception also offers small items, drinks, and even alcohol for purchase. The room was spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped – including a stove, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator, which made the stay even more convenient. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and definitely worth it for the price. Would happily return.

Location in the city centre and public transport. Interior beautifully designed and styled. Suites were so well equipped, they really had thought of everything and more. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy. Plenty of hanging place and drawers. There is nothing you would want for. They even have a launderette and a fitness centre/ gym. The buffet breakfast did not disappoint either, so much choice and all excellent quality. Although you have tea and coffee facilities in the suites, there is also free coffee machines and selections of tea in the lounge / dining area. All the staff were so very friendly yet professional and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing. Surrounding buildings on approach are run down. Area needs some TLC and regeneration.

Not much else to say. Staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly. The food was plentiful and very good. Also loved the security within the hotel. Situation was perfect for getting around the shopping centre, restaurant and back to train station. Loved the idea of a larder where emergency items could be bought to use in the well equipped kitchen, and also use of a fridge which was necessary for my insulin. Very satisfied customer.

The only minor issue was that the pillows were a little bit harder than I am used to, but I found just using one was not too bad.

Location wise there is no better if you there for a NEC exhibition! Few minutes walk to the Grand Central, from there a 10 minutes train ride to the Intl. The room was a small suite with all the important necessities. We could even cook something. The breakfast was also excellent with very strong ("serious") coffee, but I would liked more a bit more personal presence. Maybe it's only me, but I like when somebody is there with a smile. A bit of critisism, that they should change the closing on the cinnamon holder near to the porrige. One cannot be careful enough and half of them is on their porrige - no good. All in all, see them next year when we will be in Crufts again!

Located on a main road 5 min walk from the train station. Room exactly as shown in the images. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety (served from 7 to 11). All staff we talked to were very friendly. Everything was perfectly clean.

The only inconvenience for us was that the windows are sealed (we understand that might be the case of many hotels in the city, or even UK?). It’s just insane to imagine that all those rooms have never had a blow of fresh air go through them, kind of crazy for a developed country 😅

The studio suite was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well appointed. A lot of thought had obviously gone into how to make the most of the space available, while ensure that everything needed to support longer and short-term stays was included. The breakfast spread was fantastic. The location was super central (just over 5min walk from New Street station and close to plenty of shops, cafés and places to eat/drink. Even the toiletries were nice.

The only reason I am not rating this a 10 is that the entrance and the lift, on the day I stayed, were rather gloomy and not very welcoming (especially when arriving alone at night), but there was maintenance work going on so it would be unfair to deduct any more than that. Perhaps the room in which breakfast was served could be made to feel brighter - though that's a very minor grumble.
