Excellent location. Lovely room. Clean. Friendly reception. Breakfast fine. Nice shower. Clean and room welcoming. Will definitely recommend and stay here again.

One lift was broken. The only other lift has a broken console which shows floor 4 wherever you are. Suggestion: to write the floor number big on the wall opposite the lift door so visitors know always know they exit on the right floor. There were several guests as confused as us which floor we were take to when the door opened. It was amusing for us, but can easily be remedied with fixing the lift console and putting floor number on walls.

The hotel as a whole was fantastic, decorated well and clean. The staff we encountered were very friendly and very happy to help, always greeting you with a smile and a hello whether they were a chamber maid or front of house. We really loved the tea, coffee and hot chocolate machine in reception, we used this a lot instead of the kettle and tea/coffee in our room, using the machine before we left for a day of exploration and then when we got back to the hotel at the end of the day, this machine became a necessity for us as a family ! My 8 year old loved being able to make his own hot chocolate as well (under my view) The breakfast was fantastic and staff kept it well topped up, they were very observant when items became low. The pancake machine is just magic ! The rooms are very clean and tidy, absolutely nothing wrong with the rooms at all. The pillows are so soft and squishy and so so comfy we'd like to buy them ! I understand why we couldn't but it would of been nice to open the window for fresh air however the Aircon was an absolute godsend for us ! The fact this hotel has a carpark is a huge bonus, the fee wasn't very bank account friendly but I felt the car was safe and was nice that it was close to us.

The tissue box in the bathroom fell off the wall when trying to take a tissue out. Room 326. There is nothing we didn't like !

Excellent hotel, easy check in/out. spotless, friendly staff, buffet style breakfast, not a massive selection, but plenty of what was on offer. Pancake machine was fab!There's a free hot drinks machine and ice machine in the lobby, as well as tea/coffee in the room. Room was spotless - towels, iron, hairdryer, and a/c. Underground parking (£15 -24hrs) with a lift straight to the lobby. There's a Tesco express about a 5 min walk from the hotel, which was super handy. Will definitely use this hotel again on future trips to Birmingham. Here's a pic of my pancakes,bacon and honey!😋

What a lovely hotel and stay. Everything was so comfortable and clean, staff friendly and the refreshments on offer were fantastic. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in in the city and already looking to pay the extra to stay here again on the next trip over other hotels here including the Ibis budget down the road. Stayed as a family but it was great regardless of children or not. Buffet breakfast was also beautiful.

The only fault I had, which was incredibly minor, was that the handles to open the hot food in breakfast were very hot with no warning. Luckily, it was me who opened it 1st, not my children, and could quickly reach for a few paper napkins to hold between my fingers and the hot pot. It was a very minor thing, and I only mentioned it because of burning people's fingers with more sensitive skin.

It was very light & bright. Room was comfortable with a view. Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Nice to be able to have a drink when we came back from the show. Car park 👍

Unfortunately the lift to Carpark wasn’t working. After parking we found our way to the stairs. If we’d known one of us could have brought our bags into reception before parking. We were rushing by that time as we had been delayed while travelling. Check in staff were very helpful. In our room, not sure if the air con was working. I found the dial in the room complicated to understand, the print was so small & I had forgotten my glasses. I tried a couple of times & I’m sure the staff would have helped if I’d asked. I always forget to ask about a shower mat.

Room was huge and well laid out, clever use of door in bathroom which doubled at toilet door. Shower was amazing. Bed comfy. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly. On my visit there was only 1 working lift to the rooms, which often meant long waits, but that was only slight downside. Location was excellent 10 minutes walk from New St Station. Complimentary tea/coffee, newspaper and magazines in foyer was a nice surprise.

No opening windows.Even with air conditioning I do miss being able to open a window even a few inches. Lighting was a bit dull in bedroom. The bean bag chair was a surprise, but difficult to get out of, so I ended up using the chair by table.

Great location hotel, was really helpful to have the car park so close and was able to park before we could check in, and for 24 hours. The room was spacious and very clean. The rest of the hotel was also very clean. The breakfast was very good and there was a good selection of foods. It was also great having the coffee machine that you could use when you want. Would definitely return to the hotel in the future and would recommend to others.

Only small thing was the shower gel didn’t work in the room and when asked as reception they said someone would come up to the room but they didn’t. We were however able to use the shampoo.

Really great location for the Town Hall Venue. Around 10 mins walk. The staff were very helpful, happy & pleasant. The room was clean & the Bathroom was a very good size.It was equipped with the free toiletries you would need for your stay in terms of shampoo & shower gel. My room was on the sixth floor and was very quiet, so easy to get to sleep. Parking is very convenient and is good value, especially in the heart of Birmingham. If I ever go back I will be sure to book this hotel. It was great.

Maybe the only observation I made that could be improved upon was the fact that I arrived at the hotel considerably early for a check in (around 3 hours). Although the team accommodated my parking needs with no problem whatsoever, I found the staff could have tried a little harder to try and reassure me that they would try to book me into a room a little earlier than normal check in time. This didn’t happen, so I just had to assume there was no chance of a check in earlier than 3pm and do something else for a few hours. That was fine but an offer of checking in an hour earlier would have just put the icing on a pretty good cake.

The room was immaculately clean, it was a pleasure to use. It was a good size and had everything set up for what you needed. The location is very central. so easy to get to the shopping, the train, the museum and the cathedral. The hotel was very pleasant to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone.

When I arrived, the reception staff member wasn't very friendly, but the other staff members I dealt with were helpful. Breakfast was good but unfortunately, there were no vegetarian options available and even though service was advertised as starting at 6:30 some items were still being put out so not available until too late for me.

Great location for the Utilita Arena. Parking was secure and easily accessible along with plenty of spaces available. Staff were polite, friendly, and informative, and the room was very clean and extremely comfortable. Great value for money given the location and facilities available. We'd very happily stay here again!! The only issue was that one of the 3 lifts was out of order, resulting in rather large queues to get back to the room post concert. More an inconvenience than anything and something that can't be helped. The only other issue we encountered was that the overflow pipe from the sink had come loose, resulting in water leaking from the hole where the pipe had detached. Thankfully, there wasn't a lot of leaked water, and this was relayed to reception at checkout. Neither of the above was intentional and could have happened at any point during any stay. The reception staff were incredibly apologetic of the inconvenience. As previously stated, these could have happened at any time and hasn't negatively on our stay or affected my review.
