The shower was amazing. We where offered the chance to upgrade and I'm glad we did. The apartment was a nice size and had everything we needed. It was a proper sized fridge, theres a dishwasher, two ring hob and microwave. I was surprised that there was two bathrooms in our room and all rooms seemed spacious enough. The children all appreciated how comfortable the beds where and all said they loved their stay and would go to stay again. I was pleased to see how secure the parking was. There's a Tesco superstore a 5min drive away.

The sofas could have been a bit more comfortable. It would have been nice if it was free parking.

We had a great stay in Birmingham. We chose Staycity because of its proximity to the Utilita Arena which was just a few minutes walk along the canal. The apartment was clean, quiet and (with outside temperatures in the 30's) air conditioned. We stayed as a family of 4 including 2 teenagers, the apartment included 2 single sofa beds which was perfect for the kids. We liked the corner kitchen with an essential large fridge. Staffing at Staycity is excellent with all staff from housekeeping to reception being exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming. There is a secure carpark at Staycity which we didn't use as we cam by train with Birmingham New Street being a short taxi ride or 15 minute walk away. At the end of our stay we used the free bag drop after checking out which included secure lockers. This gave us an extra day for shopping. We will always stay here on ouf future visits. Excellent is the only way to describe Staycity Aparthotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Staycity Aparthotels Birmingham City Centre as a family. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it perfect for travelling with kids. What really stood out was the staff—every single member we met was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. As a parent, I especially appreciated how they went the extra mile whenever I needed an extra hand with the children, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is excellent too, with everything you need within easy reach. Overall, a fantastic family-friendly stay that I would highly recommend!

Honestly, the only downside was that our stay wasn’t long enough—we can’t wait to return!

The hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartment was well-equipped, featuring two bathrooms, a shower and a bathtub, plus a fully fitted kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, and plenty of utensils and cookware for five people. Everything we needed was right there. The location was also fantastic — right in the city centre, within walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to major attractions. Overall, we really enjoyed our family stay at this hotel and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Although I had booked for 3 adults and 2 children, upon arrival I was told the reservation was only for 3 adults. I’m not sure whether the issue was with Booking.com or the hotel, but thankfully the staff kindly accommodated us without any extra charge — though it wasn’t the most pleasant surprise.

It was really fun staying here - so much so that I'll look for Staycity again when staying in other cities. It's a brilliant solution for families as you don't always want to eat out. It worked better for us than an Airbnb as we wanted somewhere with a staffed reception and other people around. The essentials in the apartment were fab. Bed and sofa bed super comfy and shower the most powerful of any I've had in far more expensive hotels. Staff were extremely friendly and kind. Shout out to Celia, Mavis and Faiza, all of whom went above and beyond (sorry if I have misspelt any names). We all loved Mavis' joyful manner! Thanks for a really lovely stay!

It would be really helpful to have a notice in the room with a number you can call if you have any issues. It isn't always possible to leave the room and head to reception.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. It featured useful kitchen facilities, including a microwave, fridge, and stove (though we didn't end up using the stove). The space was reasonable and comfortable, making it perfect for our family. We truly loved the experience and will definitely choose this place over a hotel in the future. It was worth every penny!

We loved the kitchen facilities, which made our stay very convenient. The location was great, being close to the town centre and our planned destinations. The on-premises parking and free street parking were a big plus. The place was clean and reasonably comfortable. We stayed in a family room that had a designated space for the children to sleep, separated from the adults, yet we were all in the same room with two TVs, which was perfect for us.

The cleanliness of the apartments facilities to cook, free ice lollies for the children, friendly staff.

Located my family with children on the 4th floor, constant complaints from guests below of noise, that couldn't be helped.The toilet too close to the cooking area ,isn't very hygienic. No tv in one of the dinning/bedroom area. No instructions how to use the oven microwave. Asked to transfer to the lower ground due to lift constantly breaking down, nobody got back to me on the matter. I wasn't happy I requested for an upgrade days before, no response!

Warm, friendly and helpful welcome from reception staff. They really made the effort with our children. Offered them ice lollies and an activity pack, which after a long hot day travelling- we really appreciated. Staff were friendly and accessible through our stay. It was also great to have 2 toilets/ bathroom spaces with a shower and bath option. Great for multi generational groups, or mixed friends and family groups.

Couldn’t open the windows so it was abit stuffy without fresh air. (Would probably be lovely and cozy in the winter months though)

We had absolutely wonderful experience at StayCity apartments during our weekend in Birmingham. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed at the reception, we even got some ice lollies, it was such a great touch. Our room was at the 4th floor, and had everything we needed especially Nexpresso Coffee machine. Location was brilliant, just short walk to city centre, bars, shops, restaurants. We also could park our car at the car park downstairs. Overall we would give 10 out of 10 and we would definitely stay again.

Conveniently located for the Utilita arena. Well equipped kitchen, although we weren’t there long enough to make much use of it. The secure parking was a bonus: spaces are limited, so reserving in advance is probably essential, but reasonable value at £17.50 for one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, they dealt with it exceptionally well: free drink while we waited….which turned out to be about 5 minutes, and they extended checkout by an hour. Returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning it was an unexpected pleasure to find the bar open, and they could even cook us a couple of pizzas.
