Nice staff at reception (thank you, Mina). Going the extra mile. Comfortable quiet room/bed (stayed on 10th floor). Ample parking under hotel. Breakfast very good. Very close to all entertainment venues.

Minimal roomservice after 2200 hrs, but brought our own snacks/drinks. Parking a tad expensive @ £21 for an overnight stay. View from rooms now obscured by high rise buildings.

I can't say enough about how helpful the staff have been—especially Jordan. She’s always gone above and beyond to support my family and make us feel welcome. Thank you, Jordan, for making our stay so pleasant. My family and I truly appreciate it, and we’ll definitely be coming back again! Also, a big thank you to the rest of the staff, everyone has been incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. And I have to mention the breakfast, it’s absolutely delicious every morning! It was always served right on time and exactly how I ordered it, which really made a difference and started each day off on the right foot.

I got a 10th floor room with a great view of Birmingham skyline. Hotel restaurant offers a great buffet breakfast with a lot of variety. Each breakfast item was made with care. 24 hour exercise room. Paid parking available with a parking company right in front of hotel main entrance. Hotel located in the heart of Birmingham close to many visitor sites. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. Give the Biryani Jackfruit a try at Dishoom Restaurant in Victoria Square especially if you are a vegetarian. I am a meat eater and I liked Biryani.

Hotel was located 35 to 45minutes drive away from Black Country Living Museum and Stourbridge Canal Locks.

I arrived very late, but the staff member checking me in did a wonderful job of making me feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a great stay. The room was large, with an excellent floor plan, giving me more space than I was expecting. I quite often do not use sofas or seating areas in hotel rooms, as I tend to find the furniture uncomfortable and awkwardly designed. Here, however, both chairs were very comfortable, there was an abundance of table/desk and storage space, and I chose to relax, read and have lunch in my room rather than going out (saving me time, as I had an event nearby). The shower and bathtub were separate, which I prefer, but without compromising on space; both were generous in size. Bar and restaurant hours were excellent, housekeeping extremely efficient and considerate. There were plenty of power sockets, both USB and regular, placed with care and attention. Connecting my laptop to the TV was also easier than I've experienced in any hotel room - a small thing, but in a short stay it's all about the little comforts. I will definitely be returning!

Despite having notified the property via Booking's messaging system, calling them directly, and finally emailing to confirm my late arrival, I had been still registered as a no-show. The staff member did note that the system registers late arrivals as no-shows, which I understand, but not only had no note been left to inform those on duty of my arrival, they also could not find my booking at all. It turned out that my name had been misspelled in the system. Thanks to the staff member's patience, care and professionalism, things were eventually sorted out, and I was very well taken care of, but this should not have happened.

Manager on arrival acknowledged us before we did him. He took my sons medical equipment off of me and offered myself and my children an easter egg and made us feel very welcome. He also went behind the scenes and then approached us discreetly with a PEEP form as my son has complex medical needs which made me feel at ease if there was an emergency. He also took all our bags onto a luggage trolley and took us up to our room. This all took the added stress away of travelling as a single parent with two children, one of whom is disabled. Reception staff were also very accommodating and friendly.

No free WIFI. Maybe a couple more sundries in the rooms to accommodate occupancy levels please. However reception were very helpful on provide more of these on request. Maybe parking needs explained better also with the option of the mailbox carpark would really benefit potential clientele as this was my biggest pressure/stress of coming to this hotel.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff are all so welcoming and the hotel is immaculate. The room was Huge - as was the bed! - and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast had literally everything you could wish for, plus checkout as standard is up until midday, which was most welcome! The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the shopping centre, which was ideal for us. My husband is a worldwide traveller with work and he was very impressed with every aspect of the hotel.

If I had to pick something it would be that I just couldn’t figure out the air con!

A lovely welcome at reception check in from Siham. Siham was able to also give me directions to a place I wished to check out before visiting later that evening which were great directions! (Thankyou). The room was 6th floor , no noise from outside the building but a couple of people nearby on the floor that were enthusiastic halloers/goodnighters! Comfy bed I had a great sleep. Breakfast, great selection of tasty options. Very efficient in seating and unobtrusively clearing tables as you went along (family had also checked in separately). All the staff I met were welcoming.

Very pleasant, helpful staff on reception and in dining room. Large, comfortable room. Adequate evening meal considering what we paid. The staff were efficient and helpful throughout. The location for us was good, very near New Street Station. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a large bar. Bedroom was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Dining experience good and breakfast excellent.

The only negative comment is that the rooms were not well soundproofed and shower sounds and doors closing could be heard from other rooms.

The central location made it easy for us to explore the city, with shopping and dining options just a short walk away. The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed a delicious dinner through room service, and the breakfast was quite impressive, with a wide variety of tasty options. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family.

One downside of our stay was the lack of a swimming pool or play area for the kids, which would have been great for family relaxation. However, the hotel did try to make up for it by providing a small kit for the kids, including coloring books and other fun activities, which was a nice touch.

The staff were brilliant. Jordan on reception at check in, room wasn't sorted otherwise out along with complimentary drink whilst we waited. Room 510 turned out to have no hot water, to bath and shower which we found out in the morning. Again Jordan swiftly arranged another room on the same floor for us to use. Breakfast choice was very good, with excellent service from Jess (Malaysian lady) and Swylvia (Polish lady). Hotel is very well placed for a swiftly, easy walk into center, along a well lite route. Great car parking facility underneath the hotel.
