Paid £50 deposit but they said there was nothing to pay back due to room service but my invoice for room service was £37 so I'm due £13

We liked that the hotel was close to the hippodrome and the nearby eateries. Check in was easy. Plenty of hangers for our clothes.

We didn't have a great nights sleep due to the bed being twins pushed together. There was a significant dip where they joined so this certainly needs rectifying for future guests. The pillows were also extremely squishy so not great for sitting up in the bed. The selection of tea and coffee sachets were good but there was only one sachet of hot chocolate which for two guests staying was a bit disappointing. We hadn't realised that the restaurant wasn't open in the evening when we booked. Other Radisson hotels we have stayed at open their restaurant's.

1) The room itself was really nice, a reasonable distance from the lifts, quiet enough for me. I like the comfortable chairs and the bed-end bench. 2) The view was nice (11th floor), overseeing the street and the pagoda outside. 3) Great location, a short walking distance to the train station, shops and attraction points I planned to visit. 4) I carelessly left out an important personal item at check out, and the staff was so helpful in recovering it for me.

1) I can't say I didn't "like" it, but the mattress is not as firm as I personally prefer, but it's still comfortable and I slept reasonably well anyway. 2) The sound of doors being closed in adjacent rooms is audible. It's not disturbing during the day, but it would be nice it's not noticeable in the evening when some visitors go back a bit late after having enjoyable outings. 3) I realised I stayed in a connectable room as soon as I found a locked door to the adjacent room, and I could hear the indistinctive chats of the people in there. Just wondering if measures could be taken for door rims to be "sound-proof", such as air-sealing tape around rims or something.

The staff were great, the welcome drinks is a fab idea. The room was absolutely fantastic, the night views were staggering.

The drop off is not exactly great and the car park is a little to far away.

Decided to upgrade to a suite, and really enjoyed the extra space it offered along with amazing views on two sides. There were two bathroom areas and the main en suite was very spacious, with walk in shower and bath. Towelling robes and spa slippers were provided, along with limited tea & coffee facilities. Room was very quiet being quite high up. The front of house team were great - really professional and welcoming, including the bar manager. Great location 10 minutes walk from New Street Station and near the nightlife and theatre areas.

I had expected the water/milk/tea facilities to be refreshed for our second day/night but they were not. Perhaps this was something that had to be specifically requested from Reception but that didn't seem to be mentioned anywhere.

We have stayed here a few times, and the fact that one of the receptionists (pony tail) recognised us from last time made us feel extra Special. The lady was so lovely. They catered to us straight away with the air con and fans, Thankyou so much to the friendly Staff, cleaners and lady at the breakfast hall. We are obsessed with this hotel, the rooms are gorgeous, the food is beautiful and the experience here is phenomenal and a lovely little treat. As someone and business owner who enjoys travelling and appreciates friendly and welcoming people, I can’t rate this hotel enough. We will be back soon. For anyone reading this. Book the hotel. You’ll love it :)

It was clean, bed was very comfortable and facilities were good

Fridge was not working in my room when I checked in, so I called the front desk for assistance and they told me it’s not a fridge but a “chiller”. I would expect Radisson to have a fridge, the chiller was not cold enough. Slippers should be provided in each room as well as a dressing gown. I had to call for slippers. Breakfast was ok, but needs some minor improvements: more selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. There should be a short menu with the option to order: omlette, porridge etc. At other radissons they have an omlette station.

I like the room and the view there’s fridge as well comfortable bed the _problem was :( !!!! ‏The lady from reception knocked on the door !!!and i tell her I wanted to Extension of stay but she was keep the door open telling me to make reservations immediately she didn’t give me a time :( Especially since I Decided to extend late She is supposed to give me time an hour so I make new reservation :( :( :( ‏That’s not respecting for human to keep the door open and request to make reservations at the same time as she waiting in the door I objected about what she doing then after 5 mints another staff coming and they told me to I leave immediately I told them she’s mistake because she was keep the door open and don’t respect me a human and give me little time ‏First time in my all life I saw like this staff hotel they don’t give a time to human Especially since I decided to extend late ‏That’s she who kept the door open to tell me to book immbediately has no humanity :(

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Birmingham and had an outstanding experience with the night staff, especially the night shift manager. Unfortunately, I can’t recall his name, but he was absolutely fantastic. We encountered a small issue during our stay, and I have never come across someone who went so far out of their way to help. Both the night manager and his team were incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely made us feel looked after—not just as guests, but as people. Their kindness and professionalism truly set this hotel apart.

The view is amazing and the huge floor to ceiling windows really make it something special! The location is also fantastic being so close to the city centre - everywhere is walkable. The beds were comfy, sheets were fresh and rooms were clean, and the breakfast was nice and had a good range, with all the usual breakfast stuff! The staff made the trip for us though - they were so professional and friendly. My little girl chatted to them every time we passed them, excitedly telling them allabout our stay. Every single one we met, cleaners, waitresses, reception staff, were so kind and patient to her. They really went the extra mile!
