Basic, but everything we needed for 1 night. It was clean and tidy. Good value for money.

Possibly a better system at night. The security guards were a little abrupt. Also, I stayed in a room with my 21 year old son in a 3 person room. They assumed we were sharing the double bed and didn't make up the single bed. We had to do it ourselves.

I liked it's close proximity to the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times before and it's the staff that really made me.

The TV remote didn’t work (446) The toilet seat had marks The bedding had long hair on it The key card didn’t work and I had to go to reception twice. There was no kettle in the room

Lovely to be met by cheerful & welcoming reception staff. A different team was on the next day & they too were very cheerful & pleasant. Breakfast buffet was great. A good variety of food, well presented & good amounts. Only thing missing for me was plant based milk, but to be fair I didn't ask if there was any available. The kitchen staff did a good job of clearing dirty plates & keeping the area clean.

Annoying that you don't have any EV chargers. I had to drive out of your car park & hunt to find somewhere to charge. I'm so used to Travelodges having ev chargers it was a surprise. Get with the times Ibis!!

Excellent location just a very short walk from the city centre, mainline station, theatre, shopping and restaurants. Parking was available for £8 for 24 hours which is very reasonable for this area. We checked in very easily. The room itself is compact but has everything you need in it. There is a separate toilet, shower, double bed, hanging area for clothes and TV. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature good as the window did open out onto a quieter street and the parking area.

There didnt seem to be an option for an extra pillow. In room information was very limited and the vending machines are unnecessarily difficult to work but the staff were very quickly on hand to help out.

We were a little nervous about staying at an Ibis budget again- after a terrible experience in Southampton! But... we couldn't fault our stay at all. Check in was quick and staff very welcoming- A very efficient service. Car parking was £8.00 for 24 hours which was really good value. We had a family room which had a double bed, and a bunk bed above for our daughter. The room was clean, and ready for our arrival. We had a great sleep- no noise or volume from other guests in the night. Breakfast was fantastic- all items were available and fully stocked. I enjoyed the feta cheese offering- and the bread rolls and croissants were lovely. Staff were happy to help if we needed anything further. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Birmingham. The value for money was phenomenal. Thank you.

Everything was great.

Very friendly, professional staff since check in. First time we took our puppy with us for a stay over, the staff were very understanding, they even offered to check on him while we went for a concert. Continental breakfast was included in the great price - good choice, pastries, cheese etc and very tasty granola & yoghurt, good start of the day. They welcomed us again with a smile & quick chat whist they were constantly cleaning & filling up the buffet. Some 4* higher ranked hotels would be envy of their staff. We also paid for parking: £8 for 24 hours which is a bargain considering the city central location. Overall if we return to Birmingham we will definitely book here again. We asked their name after check out as we have a business in hospitality and we know how nice to get a recognition: well done Lisa, Dot, Shane, Emma & Rachel : they deserve a payrise. (Butter)

N/A Just a tip: outside the main entrance was very busy but it needs a more regular checking and tidying up ( cigarette butts, litter)

Great location helpful staff and easy to get to most places the staff let us stay for a few hours in the reception as our bus wasn't till midnight and it was cold wet and we felt unsafe walking around with all our luggage we were extremely greatful for this The hotel is on a busy main road but the windows do a fantastic job of blocking the noise it was not an issue the whole time we were there

Breakfast was a bit disappointing It seems a bit of a after thought the juice was watered down there was just open jars of spreads and toast 2 pastries and yogurt no dairy free options other than soya milk in a jug for cereal next time I wouldn't bother with it but it wasn't the end of the world The bathroom is tiny in the room to and very much feels like a cupboard as a bigger person it was a bit uncomfortable to use that and the shower was very temperamental

I was really surprised about how the place looked and how clean it was I have been to 4 star hotels that have looked more run down than this place. It was clean and really vibrant they have made the best from the space they have. The only til g I would say and it completely my own preference nothing to do with the hotel and that was I like a soft mattress and these ones were quite hard. But as I say that’s a personal preference and you will never please everyone as my hubby lives a hard mattress and slept like a baby. Thanks to all the staff that were very helpful and welcoming

We stayed for 2 night just gone 24th & 25th, and had a great stay, The staff were all very friendly and approachable, the location of the hotel for the price is amazing! You won't find cheaper for the location. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the rooms and other guest areas, some other reviews we seen mentioned "sick smells" i can honestly say didn't smell anything, and rooms smelt and looked fresh. Our overall stay was amazing and as we will be travelling to and from Birmingham for buisness will be using this hotel a lot!

The only criticism we had was no kettle in the room, we did ask reception and was advised there is a hot water machine in the lobby/breakfast area. The fact our room was right by the lift on 2nd floor it wasn't too bad to come down to get hot water (im not sure about others who may be further away), however we would have appreciated having the ability to make a tea or coffee without having to leave the room and trek up and down. I am unsure why this isn't provided as we didn't really ask why, so I am sure there must be a reason??

Location: 3 minute walk to the o2 Academy. Small Morrisons directly opposite the hotel and a nice little pub just a little further along the same road which was easily accessible via an underpass. Also, only a 13-14 minute walk to Broad Street. Parking: Hotel offers 24 hour parking for £8 (first come first serve basis) Staff: Very welcoming and friendly. Food/drinks: Alcohol and food offered 24/7 including pizza.

Room: Quite small but still met our needs. Shower: A slight unpleasant sewarge type smell was coming from the plug hole in the shower, but it was bearable for one night.
