Basic, but everything we needed for 1 night. It was clean and tidy. Good value for money.

Possibly a better system at night. The security guards were a little abrupt. Also, I stayed in a room with my 21 year old son in a 3 person room. They assumed we were sharing the double bed and didn't make up the single bed. We had to do it ourselves.

I liked it's close proximity to the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times before and it's the staff that really made me.

The TV remote didn’t work (446) The toilet seat had marks The bedding had long hair on it The key card didn’t work and I had to go to reception twice. There was no kettle in the room

On Booking .com i booked a room with 2 single beds as my Daughter with travelling with me, due to my Plane and train being late i arrived at the Hotel at 00.40 , at reception i was given a double and a bunk above the double bed, the following morning i spoke with reception and a young man called SHANE listened to my story and immediately and without hesitation offered me a bigger room with two single beds, thank you SHANE for your professional work, we will be staying at the Ibis hotel on any further visits to Birmingham.

everything was super.

I have stayed here several times, and everything about the Hotel is perfect. I particularly appreciate the friendliness of all of the Staff, and especially the Manager, who always spends time to greet you and make you feel welcomed. The Spa and Fitness Suite is great, and the food excellent, very varied, and well prepared at a relatively modest price considering the location and quality. Also, I had a massage on my last stay which was one of the best I have ever had. The car parking arrangements are really helpful when driving in from North Wales!

I can't think of anything here.

Lovely to be met by cheerful & welcoming reception staff. A different team was on the next day & they too were very cheerful & pleasant. Breakfast buffet was great. A good variety of food, well presented & good amounts. Only thing missing for me was plant based milk, but to be fair I didn't ask if there was any available. The kitchen staff did a good job of clearing dirty plates & keeping the area clean.

Annoying that you don't have any EV chargers. I had to drive out of your car park & hunt to find somewhere to charge. I'm so used to Travelodges having ev chargers it was a surprise. Get with the times Ibis!!

We stayed in the double room during the very hot weekend. It was large, clean and well-cooled (note: the "air con" is not an air con - it's a temperature control thing so you can't change the temperature but it kept the room cold). The bed was comfortable and the room has a small desk and chair so my partner could do some work. The toilet is in a small room but good enough and the shower was pretty good. Very nice for the price we paid. If ibis can keep the competetive pricing then we will continue to use the hotel.

My only comments would be the static showerhead and the lack of minor drink making facilities in the room (there are some machines in the lobby but, apart from the water, these are paid machines).

The room was very basic, but that's what I booked. All I wanted was somewhere to sleep and shower after a night in Birmingham at the Jeff Lynne's ELO gig. This fitted the bill perfectly and was easily within walking distance from the Utilita Arena. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and the towels nice. It was good to get a parking space. I didn't pay extra for continental breakfast next morning, but it was there had I wanted to. Excellent value at just under £40 in the middle of Birmingham.

Quite a lot of traffic noise with the window open, although the aircon (which was silent) kept the room cool overnight with it shut.

The Lady, Emma (I think… I hope was her name - I’m so tired I’ve forgot , but I’m sure it was … she was on the desk at 11am 30/06/25) was amazing and so accommodating. What a lovely lady! I hope she’s a manager ? She deserves to be. Her customer service and personality is second to none. I didn’t get the same vibe off the other staff , but she was great. Had a lovely chinwag at the desk and she helped book us in earlier because of the extreme heat and the dog. She made us feel so welcome, and it was no trouble to her. I can’t say enough how great she was. One of the best customer services I have ever had. Thank you so much Emma, you made us feel so welcome , working in that heat as well you still was so cheerful and lovely. You are the kind of person people don’t forget. We had an eventful two days with things going worse and worse. A story for the grandkids! Nothing to do with the hotel. The only positive thing about our two day craziness, was the service we had from Emma.

The only suggestion I would have, would perhaps be a hot water machine? I would have gladly paid for hot water as I brought everything for my own drinks but no kettle was available. That would be a great option to have . Also a toilet brush ! But other than that it was great and would stay again. Loved the air conditioning , I actually didn’t think you would have any being so budget friendly, but you did and it was amazing thank you. I would recommend your hotel for sure.

Parking was available at the hotel and only cost £8 for the whole 18 hours that we stayed. The hotel was in a good central location and the concert hall we needed was only a short Uber taxi ride away, the cost was£5 each way. The hotel check in was simple as I had prepaid through booking.com. The receptionist was pleasant and informative without being familiar. The room was simple, small with standard budget Ibis amenities in the room, the bed was well prepared and clean and provided 8 good hours of sleep for us both. The shower was hot and fast with soap and shampoo provided by Ibis. Ideal for a one night stay, not complaints.

Excellent location just a very short walk from the city centre, mainline station, theatre, shopping and restaurants. Parking was available for £8 for 24 hours which is very reasonable for this area. We checked in very easily. The room itself is compact but has everything you need in it. There is a separate toilet, shower, double bed, hanging area for clothes and TV. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature good as the window did open out onto a quieter street and the parking area.

There didnt seem to be an option for an extra pillow. In room information was very limited and the vending machines are unnecessarily difficult to work but the staff were very quickly on hand to help out.
