Great stuff, all really friendly the landlord was great The rooms were clean and tidy better than a Travelodge I stayed in the other week, easy check in.enjoyed my stay. thank you I’m back in the area. I will definitely be booking again great value for money.

If I gave any feedback, it would just be if the cleaners could keep the noise down obviously they’ve got a job to do and that is understandable I was working night so not really there fault. with a good lick paint I’m re-Ferb in places I think this would be even better.

There's a new owner. Working incredibly hard, to get this hotel renovated and vivid. She just started, but is extremely passioned and is very hospitable for her guests. We went here for a football match. It's not the most luxury stay, so one should always rate expectations on the costs. As this is a budget stay the quality and heart of the owner is very much valued. Don't expect a four star hotel, because it's not, so don't judge it that way. Appreciate the chats at the bar, the stay and the old british atmosphere. This will make it a very enjoyable stay. Not the stay for your honeymoon, but definitely the stay to experience the charm of Birmingham suburbs, British hospitality and culture. We had a great time here and it was better than expected, taking into consideration the costs.

Nothing, it matches the price and corresponding expectation.

Staff were helpful. Price was good. Bed was comfortable. A good quiet night's sleep despite being in a busy urban area. Glad that I noticed no evidence of the local bin strike during my stay.

A few minor things could be improved if they don't bump up the price of a basically very good value, no frills stopover: shower gel dispenser, kettle and teabags,TV that connects to live channels and not just BBC iPlayer etc.

Staff were amazing second time I’ve stayd here and I’d stay here again , the staff are so welcoming and accommodating, I broke my skirt before I went out and the manager got her safety pins out and she helped me mend my skirt what a babe !!

Only thing was the £2.30 for a coke can lol but can’t complain the hotels lovely and the staff are lovely I don’t have anything bad to say

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, it was very welcoming. Staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and lovely. Oh and the food!! Oh my DAYS beautiful 🤌🏻. The owner made her own Sunday roast and it was amazing, so delicious 👀!!

Sunday days are a bit loud as the function room is rented out so it does get quite loud if you’re not in the bar. Apart from that absolutely nothing wrong.

Excellent value for price paid. Very efficient & easy check-in process. The room was clean,comfortable, excellent wifi & shower had a nice water temperature. Free car parking on-site. Ideal location & easy from hotel to get into city centre either walking or by public transport. Would recommend to others to use hotel if they just need a basic/no frills nice place to stay.

Nothing I didn’t like as my stay was excellent.

The Staff were more than friendly and couldn't do enough for us, there was a direct telephone to order a taxi which was there within 15 minutes to take us into the City centre. Having only taken over the property 2 months previously, Pauline is starting to put things in place, and Mel did a great job with the breakfast, We were back after the bar was shut, but we were had no problem gaining access through the back of the building as we were told. The room was very clean,

Could have done with a kettle or tea making facility in the room, coat hangers were missing from the hanging area, (but the previous person in that room had apparently taken them), the bed was a bit lumpy but was strangely VERY comfortable. I know Pauline is aware of all these issues, and has them all in hand, as someone said ' This is not the Ritz' well you aren't paying Ritz prices, for the price we paid, we found everything we needed very comfortable and pleasant service, well done Pauline, I'm sure you will turn the place around with the great staff you have including Toni and Mel, I think you have done a great job in the short time you have been there, this was echoed by the other three lads who we met there.

Not far from the city centre less than a tenner in an uber. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Got a twin room for me and my son but weren't in it very long as we were out all night and only slept for a couple of hours, bed was comfy enough and the room was tidy and clean. Would recommend if you needed a cheap room with friendly staff.

The stay here was excellent. Good location and not too far from Villa Park which was the main reason for coming to Birmingham. There are at least 2 buses from the city centre that stop right outside the hotel. The room itself is quiet and you can get a good nights rest. The shower is excellent.

The mattress was very threadbare and could feel the springs digging into the back. The bathroom is tiny too.

I had stayed here before and enjoyed. It was good again and the cleanliness was even better this time. The owners changed in the meantime and it would be nice to enjoy meals again there if possible.

Communication could be a bit better as if you've never been there are some things that can be confusing, such as arriving after time and leaving early in the morning (had to figure out how to leave trough the fire exit as everything was closed).
