Stayed in a small single room and it came equipped with everything you could need. Everything was spotless. Great air-conditioning even in the small room. Staff were all really friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were great.

Automated replies on booking.com messaging service. No immediate replies. The last question I sent received a reply saying 'they can see I have checked out, so no answer needed'. It was the day before my booking, so that panicked me. And still no reply to my query a day after my stay. Parking is very limited. I was lucky to have a small car that fitted in the only small space. A little noisy as on a main road.

Highly recommend for one or two nights’ stay - (and I only say that because our room didn’t have a drawer unit, but maybe others do?). Very central: just a stone’s throw from the Snow dome and great shopping at Ventura Park, and just a hop, skip and jump from Drayton Manor and Thomas Land. Cathy and staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, in particular Sara(h)? who went out her way to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible - even when we decided to stay an extra night at very short notice. Great breakfast with lots to choose from, and the rest of the day’s menu offers excellent food at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

It’s more a suggestion than “what I didn’t like” - e.g. an iron in the room would be handy! As it was I had to travel home in really crumpled trousers because my brilliant hubby decided to dump his clothes and bag on top of my neatly folded garments! 🙄

Room was spacious was on its own round side in the bear garden bit so took a while to get of to sleep am from domestic abuse relationship 4 year ago now so am on edge best times let lone being ina room it feels like anyone could come into but good room an staff was lovely breakfast was so big I'd stay again xx

How the room was round side sat in beer garden can imagine it being fairly noisy so I don't think I'd feel 2 comfortable in summer just cus rooms are like lil buildings attached an freaks me out but like say am a on edge person with things like that just personal preference I think many others would love it clean n beautiful rooms fridge n safe n huge shower bathroom

unable to park in the car park due to the way other people had parked! no on street parking either so had to park in a housing estate behind the pub Bathroom was missing a toilet holder which looked like it had broken and not been fixed Wash basin wasn't the cleanest (dirt and a couple of hairs) could hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring room and also a lot of banging of doors from pub below but did stop about 11pm ish

Beautifully done up in a great location well recommend this place and they were super good. We got to requirements as as I am a coeliac gluten-free. They could not be nicer, spotlessly clean wonderful service and their young assistant. Harvey was exceptional welcoming us to our room. We love the menu, which was Easter and west food choices Their lovely stuff and excellent service just made a wonderful day even better Finished off with a lovely breakfast

The only thing I would say is that it’s a shame they aren’t able to have double glazing as it was slightly noisy and when the food extractor came on in the morning it was exceedingly noisy near our room. These are things that are very difficult to sort, so I would not criticise them, it’s just worth you know

Very smart rooms, looked to be newly refurbished. And extremely clean. Kath (the owner) and Sara were amazing. So friendly, kind and professional. They could not have done more to make our stay great. They work really hard to make you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. We had a curry one evening too which was also very nice. On site parking was a bonus, be sure to give your number plate details to someone at the bar as the car park is not owned by the pub.

If you like a large double bed, you may be better booking a twin room as double beds are very small. We were swapped to a twin room hassle free, and this was hugely appreciated.

Very nice hotel with modern decor

Don’t know why had to order breakfast when we checked in day before, assumed to make easier for staff and speed up process. In the morning 7 of us went for breakfast and there was another table of 5 and I think another 2, so I wouldn’t say it was busy! Finally took drinks order and received them about 20 minutes later, some were wrong. Some breakfast come to table which were for other group of 5, 1 of our group was given wrong breakfast, basically a big mess up, no organisation and very slow. And definitely pointless taking orders day before, 1 of our group did say don’t even fancy that now. Also food came out in 3 different servings minutes after each other and some were cold.

The room was lovely modern & clean, my daughter and I stayed in a twin room with air conditioning which was a plus.The staff were lovely especially Sara who ran breakfast service,she couldn't do enough for us,a real gem & Works hard to keep everyone happy,a real star ⭐ The breakfast was delicious I must add there is no scrimping on quality breakfast products,all coffees came with a little biscoff which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

We have an electric car & the charging point was broken - we raised this with the manager & she advised that it was waiting to be fixed for over 2 months. Better signage to the car park from the island would be useful as I missed the turning & needed to ask in the pub for directions

Room is clean and cozy. Breakfast was very large and we couldn't finish. Dinner is good combination of Indian and British, and taste was very good.

Parking was difficult to find. When we entered the building (the reception of hotel is the same place as bar counter), no staff was taking care of us. I understand that it was the busiest timing for dinner, but we left unattended for more than 15 minutes. I was with my 4-year old child, so it was hard for us. Other than the check-in experience, everything was OK. If you come there at the right timing (not in the middle of dinner on the weekends), probably no issue at all.
