The room itself was cozy The pillows were comfortable The location in the city centre you cannot go wrong The part around the hotel is quiet and peaceful particularly at night I felt safe there and I always do. It's the place I always choose in Birmingham as it is familiar and staff are lovely apart from a certain one in housekeeping which is another story. The complimentary water machine is a nice touch particularly on hot nights Food is amazing
Housekeeping lady this is the second time she has tried to throw me out, the previous stay she knocks on my door a day before claiming I had to leave which got sorted but this time she knocked on the door at 9 30am when check out is at 11 harassing me to check out i said its at 11am she claims it was a reminder but hotels are not meant to do that so I will be escalating a complaint with regards to her in particular as she let's it down unfortunately. Beds could do with being more comfortable Could do with air conditioning in bedrooms.

I thought the reception staff was very attentive, poliet, helpful and professional. The ground flooring looked amazing and I loved the court room in the middle with an outdoor sitting. Although I didnt go for breakfast I had a look when going past and thought it looked great. Food. The setting and design. I loved the chairs in the hallway. Made it feel homely but with a modern personality with its furnishing designs and welcoming. Comfy beds. And liked the wood look it was going for.
I did think the walls were a bit too small. Although I do admit I paid for a cheaper room but I think it could do with being a square bigger as I can't remember seeing wardrobe space. Bathroom could have been bigger. Maybe some air con could do with being fitted.

I booked the property because we could use the pool. I disliked the property because I called the hotel before booking to ask if there were particular times I could take a 5 year old to swim and was told it was for 3 hours in the afternoon but after paying and getting to the pool was told to go back 2 hours later as it would only be open for 1 hour that day as they were having meetings. It was the only reason for booking this hotel. I would have booked a Village hotel if I'd known in advance. It was just finding something different to do with a youngster in the holidays. Breakfast was excellent 👌

Please note that the plug sockets in the rooms are British standard. However, the lady at reception was very kind in lending me a power adapter. This is free of charge but requires a small deposit on your credit card. The hotel also offers pillows of different softness to suit every taste. The sleep was so comfortable that I almost overslept my work event. There are shops and cafes within walking distance, and the hotel also has a bar. The breakfast with a small buffet allows you to eat granola or fruit, as well as a full English breakfast.
As mentioned earlier, the sockets are British standard. It may be difficult to regulate the heating in the rooms, but the blankets are very warm and during sleep it is not necessary to heat the room at all.

The hotel was reasonably priced and offered good value for a budget stay. It’s located within a university campus, which made for a quiet and secure environment. Once inside, the room was clean and decent, reflecting the standard of a typical budget hotel.
It was a bit confusing to find the hotel at first, as it’s not immediately obvious that it’s located inside a university area and building. Parking was another challenge—while there were some options available within walking distance 5-7 minutes away, it was inconvenient if you had luggage or heavy bags.

You had everything in the room: iron, ironing board, fan, floor lamp, phone, hair drier.Great Toiletries: my sink and shower, kettle and the usual tea/coffee/milk and with even hot chocolate sachet. Good Size flat TV with lots of channels and wifi throughout hotel. Restaurant on site and beautiful court yard garden. Lovely cosy bar open until late. Nearby payable parking. Plus a full size swimming pool to use as a hotel guest = next to Aston University ( which is just a few minutes from Birmingham city centre to walk. Besides across the road ( the sports centre with :swimming pool, there is a full gym ,sauna and steam room. Each person staying gets a voucher from hotel reception to use these facilities free- per night stay and you can ask for a towel at reception too. Grounds of the University are outside too.I think I took my own Toiletries to the sports centre ( but will check next time ).
My radiator didn't work and luckily I was provided with an electric radiator and a blanket. So, staff were very helpful. Again - no vegetarian sausages but they made a vegetable sausage for me

The front desk staff are friendly, and helpful with useful info like put the towel rail heater on so your bathroom is warm. I had a lovely welcome. There’s a water filter machine on each floor so I could fill the kettle with filtered water. I like that they recycle and have a recycle bin on each floor and in the rooms. It was quiet so no noisy neighbours Lighting was great, I travel a lot and often find hotel rooms dark. Bathroom was great, warm and didn’t have a noisy fan going all night like most places do. The room was a great size.
Nothing it was all great.

I had an amazing stay! The staff were extremely friendly when I called to check what the latest time I could check in was. I even made a comment to my friend saying I have just spoken to happiest person on the other side of the phone. This was later continued when I arrived. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly! Making my stay even better, I was then informed that I had been upgraded from the single room to the executive suite. I had a lovely night staying there and was well rested before my exam the following day. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Good location for exploring the city centre. It’s on the University campus, away from through roads, so it was quite peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Guests can use the University sports centre, including gym and pool, for free, which is a nice touch. There’s also secure paid parking close by, which was about a tenner a day.
Bit frustrating that the car park charging period is midnight to midnight, as you have to buy two whole days. It is a pretty good price though. Also, I’ve never had so many emails about a hotel booking in the run up to my stay! Most had broken or missing links too, so were a waste of time. Small gripes though, which wouldn’t put me off staying again.

The location was perfect in the city centre. The breakfast was lovely cooked to perfection. Check in time is great. Check out time not bad. Such a cozy vibe to the place particularly at night. Atmosphere is lovely. Felt very safe. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary swimming pool is a nice touch. Dinner is beautiful and very well presented. Very posh decor. Close to all amenities. My number 1 hotel in Birmingham!
Bed isn't that comfortable that's the only problem.
