This suited our needs as we used it as an overnight stop on our way to Northern Spain. The hotel is in a slight dip so shielded from the noise of the main road. The linen smelt fresh and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lots of hot water too. Having a parking facility was a bonus. If you fancy a trip to Poitiers the bus stop is by the main shopping centre further up the road. - red sign, called something like Auchan hypermarket on Rue du traite Rome

Difficult to find entrance. It's on the main road Rue du 8 Mai 1945. DO NOT ENTER from any other road. so keep your eye out for the sign...you have to bump your car up the pavement to get to car park.

The room was excellent, larger than usual. Access to outdoor space for our dog was great. The air con worked!!!!. We had a ground floor room as requested and a quiet night which we needed after a long drive.

Finding the hotel was tricky and negotiating the fiendishly busy dual carriage it is on was not easy. Access to the admin building for breakfast was quite a long wet walk. Lack of easy access to bars or restaurants in the area was challenging.

I have a knee problem. We asked for a room at the ground floor and this was organised perfectly by the staff. Thank you for that!

The walls are very thin. The neighbours had a dog. He started to bark very early in the morning. Maybe apply a policy of people with pets further away from the other guests?

Requested ground floor room as travelling with a wheelchair. Not accessible room, so cannot comment. Ground floor rooms easy to access with the wheelchair, ramp down long but not too steep. Shutters on the outside of the rooms meant total blackout inside. Staff incredibly helpful at every opportunity. We booked dinner on day of arrival, and when we came up to eat, a table for 4 had been assigned for the 3 of us, with one chair already removed to account for the wheelchair - v impressed. Staff very respectful and went out of their way to support us, strong levels of English across the board.

Arriving / departing from the hotel. It is difficult to see the entrance to the drive, the curbs are not dipped so there is a bump to drive in and down, and if you miss the turning in, there is a fair amount of driving around the block to try again. The Accueil / Restaurant is a separate building close to the road, the rooms are further down, which was a little difficult with a wheelchair.

A really good overnight stay in a motel accommodation. Good facilities, clean and comfortable. very helpful reception. Located next to Auchan shopping centre for provisions

Difficult to find entrance in the dark hours. Better online information to access from busy main road would be helpful, as signage is not easily seen.

Everything was great. We very often stay at Campanile hotels as we always like them, but this one shines out above the rest. The room was spotless, bright, comfortable and we had fantastic views over the fields and we could had a nice walk with our dog. We will definitely return.

Good value room for the price. The check in was efficient and friendly. The entrance is close to a main road but the rooms are in a separate building that is very quiet. We did not have meals there.

All good for a budget hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable and I like the fact that Campanile have tea and coffee making facilities in the room as many places in Europe don't have this facility.

Could be sign posted better we only saw the Campanile sign when we had almost passed the turn off for the hotel. No complaints of the actual stay.

Young man on reception was helpful and polite and spoke very good English. Fantastic place if travelling with dogs. Our ground floor room opened up onto a massive parkland area, which was great for walking the dogs. Very convenient. Warm and lots of hot water.

No alcohol licence! However, Auchan supermarket is just a 5 minute walk away

When I arrived the desk stated that I had booked 2 rooms. This was incorrect but I was emailed to pay this was infact another reservation therefore I payed twice
