This was probably the cleanest motel we'd ever stayed in. The location is excellent, a short walk to town. There's plenty of parking. DeBortelli is just across the road from the car park. The hosts were lovely and it is excellent value for money. There is a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glasses in the room. The mini bar is very reasonably priced.

The sink was in the main room and used as a bathroom and kitchen sink. I'm not sure if this was we were given an accessible room (we didn't need one) or if all the rooms are the same. I didn't like brushing my teeth and washing up in the same sink.

We stayed two nights at Wine Village Motor Inn while visiting the wineries. Good central location, rooms are very clean and tidy with everything we need. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Kindly put the heater on before our arrival and provided an electric blanket. The outside area is immaculate, and parking is right at the front. Very pleasant stay. Definitely book in the future. The quality of the Wine Village Motor Inn speaks volumes about the meticulous care of the owners and signage around the property says much about the pride they have in their achievement. From the large comfortable rooms and beds, through to the neatly trimmed garden the motel is well above average. Facilities like the refreshing pool and two electric car chargers also put the motel in a higher league. The location opposite the de Bortoli cellar door and a short stroll from the town centre was very convenient.

I admit we are coffee snobs, but in 2023 rather than just instant coffee, a capsule coffee machine, that is common in many hotels, would be a welcome addition to the otherwise excellent facilities.

My recent stay at the Wine Village Motor Inn was an absolute pleasure. One of the standout features of the inn has to be its warm and attentive staff. They went the extra mile by turning on the heater before my arrival, ensuring I was welcomed into a cozy atmosphere. Such small gestures make a big difference and truly resonate with guests. Location-wise, the inn is perfectly situated. This made our exploration and daily activities convenient, further adding to the overall satisfaction of our trip. The cleanliness of the room deserves special mention. I was impressed with the spotless environment and, with cold nights in mind, the addition of an electric blanket was a delightful touch.

The room was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. There was plenty of space and the couch was very comfortable. The shower was a generous size with great water pressure. Lighting was fantastic, not dark and minimalist like some accommodation. The staff, well, Max and Sue were terrific. Pleasant, accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our stay was relaxed and carefree. They both went out of their way to make ours a pleasant stay, going above and beyond what they needed to. Even to the point that the heater was on already so the room was warm when we arrived. I unreservedly recommend this motel for anyone looking to stay in Rutherglen.

There is nothing that I could honestly write about that I did not like about our stay. Max and Sue have a fantastic facility and do everything they can to make sure your stay is amazing.

Very clean room. All amenities worked and the room was comfortable.

There needs to be more communication between Booking.com and the actual Proprietors of the accommodation. We were told I had checked in 3 times when in fact I had not done so. I changed the name on my booking via Booking.com, as I was advised to change the booking on that portal when I adjusted my date. Bit of a double standard there if the option is there, but not communicated properly with the owners of the place.

Lovely manager Max ! Made us feel instantly welcomed! Remembered my name each time I saw him and he was very accomodating as we lost track of time and accidentally checked out way after 10am when we left The bed is absolutely fabulous! TV is huge and has all internet access etc. Nice and quiet and no highway noise It’s very close to a great winery across the road which is awesome for afternoon wine tasting . We were disappointed ( but due to timing ) that not all places to eat in Rutherglen were open on a Tuesday night - only the pub or the expensive restaurant at the winery were open - the pub was ok but lacking in a bit of imagination menu wise - but at least the beer was cold !

We had room 14 Not sure if all rooms have this configuration BUT The bathroom does not have a separate vanity / sink. There is only a sink in the main room outside the bathroom. It’s a bit of a turn off hygiene wise Also the hot water in the shower is WAY TOO hot - warning if you have small children to run the cold tap first !!!

We arrived late, bought a bottle of wine at reception from the exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. It was too late for a swim but we hit the pool before breakfast in the lovely, clean and pleasant surrounds. Didn't sty for breakfast but the hosts recommended a local cafe which was terrific.

We liked everything and wished we were staying longer.

We stepped out of our room and looked straight down to the De Bortoli Winery; the location was incredible and an easy walk into town. The rooms were very comfortable. The bathrooms we slightly old-fashioned but perfectly fine. The greeting from the friendly, kind and extraordinarily welcoming Max was wonderful. The bed was excellent, the space was perfect, and we really enjoyed Rutherglen ad s whole! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Is it too fussy to ask for a magnified mirror ;) we had a wedding to attend, and it was a bit tricky to do my eye makeup in the mirror :)

The staff were amazing, I forgot something in the room after check out and they promptly called me which allowed me to collect my item before heading home! The rooms were so spacious and clean. In a central location a walk from town centre. If we head back to Rutherglen we will be staying here!
