The staff were very welcoming and SO helpful. My son was excited when he learned that in the evenings they provided s’mores in the office with a little marshmallow roaster to cook them yourself. It was very clean and was the first time I’ve ever slept so comfortably in a hotel. The office has a filtered water refill station and there is an ice machine down by the pool, so we were able to refill all our bottles before leaving and didn’t have to buy 10 water bottles to do it. I loved that. The location was nice because it wasn’t right in the downtown area, but a 5 minute drive could take you to all the food and shopping you want while visiting. Right outside my door was an amazing view that I am missing already.

Outdoor pool / hot tub very clean & still open 9/20! Ice is handy & near washer/ dryer room. Room was very clean & comfy pillows. Nicely remodeled. Miles & Johnny at the front desk were awesome & accommodating.

Grills near kids’ play area needed work & all tools needed for grilling were missing. Design of room was frustrating w/ bathroom light switch outside the bathroom leading to lighting up the bedroom & those sleeping that side of the room.

Cannot say enough great things about this place. We enjoyed it so much. Stayed for 2 nights in the 3 queen room with our family of 5- kids aged 7, 11 & 12. Room was clean and comfortable, mini fridge/freezer & microwave. Was perfect and all we needed. Kids loved swimming in the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub. We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the evening and making s’mores (materials are provided for free in the hotel lobby- they do this every night from 6:30pm to 9). Good continental breakfast, nothing fancy but everyone found something they enjoyed and couldn’t beat the fact that that was 1 meal we didn’t have to purchase. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was a short and direct route into town. We absolutely will return.

Really nothing I would say I didn’t like.

Great price for a great location. Bathrooms had bath and bodywork’s shower kits that smelled great. Staff was helpful from check in to check out. Breakfast was good had bagels, toast, cereal, granola bars, tea/coffee, oatmeal, yogurt , small muffins, and hard boil eggs. Pool was closed due to season but hot tub was open- however we didn’t get go due to our schedule.

Only downfall were the pillows. Pillows were very uncomfortable but can be an easy fix for hotel to update or to bring your own!

The staff was very friendly, nice & attentive. The room was clean, and amenities were as advertised. It was super close to all the fun in Estes Park, even though it isn't on the main drag. The room had a large fridge and microwave. The property is very pet friendly as well. We stayed in the winter when there was 3 feet of snow on the ground, but it looks like they have a lot of amenities that would be fun in the summer months. Overall, we had a great 2-night stay.

The lobby was undergoing renovations when we stayed and there was no phone in the room (not a big deal but worth noting). The breakfast was fine. But since the lobby/breakfast area was under construction, it was temporarily moved to a (likely smaller) area and didn't have a lot of variety.

Beautiful view, small continental breakfast was fine for me. Reminded me of places I stayed as a kid. Pool looked inviting but we didn’t use it. I thought the room felt big. Clean. I’d definitely return.

I felt the toilet was a little low. My son likes to sleep on the cooler side but he didn’t think the ac was working properly. Thermostat said 72 in the room when he had it set at 68. Otherwise not much I didn’t like. I felt the price was high for families but considering the area it was probably pretty normal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Estes. Timms was very nice and clean, housekeeping came in every day with fresh towels. The pool, hot tub and playground area are very good, staff is friendly and helpful. S’mores in the evening was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast is very limited and breakfast room/ front desk area are a bit small. However it will not deter us from coming back in the future. we were still able to enjoy light breakfast every morning.

We spontaneously stayed at Hotel Estes for 1 night and we really had a wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly, our pet friendly room was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. Very comfortable beds! The free continental breakfast is pretty nice and includes coffee, tee, juice, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, bread, danish, joghurt, fruit and hardboiled eggs. We were pleasantly surprised. The location is in walking distance to city center, if you don't mind walking a few minutes. There is a lovely walkway by the lake.

Nothingness to criticize

The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the nightly events such as popcorn and smores every day. The hot tub was also nice and hot. The room was simple but clean, comfy, and exactly what we needed. There was a fridge and microwave in each room and more than enough pillows.

The breakfast options were a bit limited (cereal, bagels and toast, yogurt, and eggs), but it was still nice to have. Nothing to complain about though!

The view was absolutely beautiful. The location was very convenient to getting downtown to shop and eat. The room was decorated simple but cute.

I feel like the room could have been cleaner than it was. There was also not enough towels and soap in the room for a family. When you book a room for an entire family I would assume there would be enough supplies to support that.
