On arrival they upgraded our room which was lovely and we very much appreciated. The staff were friendly. We were very close to public transport which made it easy to get around and see more of Melbourne. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large double shower and even a spa.

They could provide more kitchen items. It made it difficult to prepare your own meals. There were no bowls, only 1spoon and 1 fork and no plug for the sink or teatowel to dry up dishes. Other than that they provided microwave and small oven and hotplates, tea and coffee and milk, toaster etc.

I love staying at Eltham Gateway. This was my second visit. The location is great and it’s accessible enough to bus stops and if you don’t mind a short walk, you can even make it to a cute little spot where they have cafes.

It would have been nice if this room was properly stocked with the right amount of spoons/forks/knives for the guests but I’m sure if you asked them they would accomodate. I just didn’t want to bother them since it was minor for me.

I love that it’s convenient to take public transport if you want to, and there’s so much parking if you have a car. It’s quiet and feels safe. I love that you can see bunnies and even Kookaburras from the property. The bed was comfy and the staff are so friendly.

Reception good, friendly staff. Room dated but comfortable. Nice to see crockery and cutlery in the room. Beds comfortable. A quiet room. Night light comes on when going up path to rooms. 3 year old loved seeing the rabbits in the morning as they ran around in the paddock nearby.

My family and friends thought we got good value here.

Bed was very, very comfortable. We booked at the last minute and still had a great room. It was very clean , bathroom was fantastic, lighting was great.

We couldn’t properly use the electric curtain.

Good location . Convenient to our needs. It's super clean. Comfy beds. All the amenities provided were well thought off. Truly appreciate the hosts for their hardwork and dedication. Since we checked in late the host switched on the air con/heater for us and made sure the room was warm enough by the time we got to the room and he also texted us a message that said we can check out a bit late. Truly appreciate kind gestures. .

Nothing to complain.

I love the location of this property. It’s close to bus stops and close to the Eltham Center where you can hop on the train to the city. It was also super comfy and they had TV and wifi which was great. It was also quiet despite being on the main road. I also really loved the kitchenette. I was able to cook meals and it was just perfect.

The wifi was a little spotty but it wasn’t really an issue.

From the start I entered the room, it was extremely clean and the staff was very well mannered. The bed was large enough for me and the toilets were clean. Most motels don’t usually have teabags but this one did and that was a cherry on top

Generous bathroom that looked recently renovated and the bed was comfortable. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Staff were very professional and polite. Easy free parking , good price. I stayed only one night to attend an event and it was perfect for this .

No breakfast but I left early in the morning.

Location was close to where we needed and close to shops King size bed and good size room

Dated decor and window finishings made the place feel dark and dusty The amount of stairs to get to our room was killer but more so the state of them, they looked like they may fall apart And the general outdoors and gardens of the place where dirty and unkept
