Location was superb as we did not want something in the heart of Selva Gardena. This place was on the outskirts of Passo Gardena and provided a wonderful vantage point of several mountains and cable cars such as Sassolungo, it was also very quiet and peaceful. We booked a studio apartment which was huge for 2pax and had a wonderful balcony view facing forests and mountains. The owner of the hotel was the only staff we interacted with, he was very warm and helpful and offered plenty of information about the location, bus passes and even tried to mediate noise issues on the property from other guests. The layout of our apartment was long and rectangular, and the apartment was very airy and had many windows that opened up and allowed air to circulate. We appreciate that there was little pollution so the rooms were not dusty despite leaving all the windows open. Perhaps it was the location, there was always a breeze blowing into the apartment. We arrived via car and free parking is available on the hotel grounds. While it didn't look like there were many lots, they were typically never full so that was a huge relief for us. Upon arrival we did notice there was a camping ground with bus stop located diagonally across the hotel so that might improve accessibility. The apartment amenities were modern and well-maintained, especially the kitchen that we used thoroughly. For the price, this was probably the best accommodation we had stayed in during our trip in the Dolomites in terms of the location, well-maintained hotel facilities and room interior, service and parking facilities.

The stove was rather small given the size of the pots and pans provided but otherwise, worked well for moderate to advanced recipes. Cleaning was done in a timely manner - beds, floors, dishwashers, toilets were mostly clean - though some messes were missed on our first night i.e. they forgot to washed the drip coffee machine, missed out 1 dirty towel and loaded the dishwasher but forgot to start it. But otherwise, I would consider them small misses as the apartment always felt clean.

Hotel is at the end of the road right under the ski area, so perfectly located and quiet place. Maintained by the owners family, very nicely newly furnished. Spaceous apartment with separate kid's room. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable matresses. Spaceous ski room. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. It may look like B&B accomodation, but the services are 4*. Full sized breakfast with hot meals and every day cleaning with new towels. Space at the reception is also a bar with nice place to sit, drink, play and talk with friends. You may have lunch or dinner in nearby restaurants. For family it is really ideal place.

We missed sauna or just a small wellness to relax after skiing. Hotel is also good for group of friends, but in that case there should be something like a party room downthere.

Very clean. Newly renovated. Nice staff. Big room. Accommodated our baby. Close to the ski lift up to sassolungo. However about 5-10 min drive from the other towns. But great location to access western side of Dolomites (Seceda, sassolungo, Alpe Di Siusi) Definitely recommend and great for the price. Also sitting downstairs for a drink was so nice to end a day of hiking. Staff were kind. Breakfast was yum. Great view of the mountains.

Right out the window/balcony door was Sassolungo. Right there in all its glory. This was a quiet part of Val Gardena and I appreciated that. The location was very convenient to the stores/restaurants in Selva di Val Gardena but I really liked plenty of easy free parking at Wolf. It was also easy to get to Sella Pass for hiking. Because I had a kitchen, I only at breakfast once but it was very adequate. I liked that I could just order a cappuccino to take back to my room. The staff spoke great English and the young boy who belongs to the owners was adorable. I'll never understand people who have to stay in Ortisei. You can find a spa resort anywhere. The appeal should be the mountains!

I wish there had been an easier way to keep doors or windows open at night for cool air while still blocking the light. The curtains got in the way sometimes.

We really enjoyed our stay in the loft family suite, the apartment was spacious and exactly as on the pictures, all very well planned, new and stylish. Overall the hotel exceeded our expectations, from the facilities and extremely helpful and friendly staff to the excellent location, superb connection by bus to all hiking locations we wanted to explore. As a bonus, bus tickets for the whole stay were provided. Definitely recommend and hopefully we will come again during the winter season.

Marco, the owner, was fantastic! He stayed up late to check us in after our car broke down. He gave us fantastic tips of things to do in the area. The family room was just what we neededd as a family of 6. Facilities felt new and clean and breakfast every morning was a treat. We would happily recommend Hotel Wolf to friends and family. Had a wonderful time.

I would say the only thing to be aware of is that it is a short drive into town when thinking about restaurants for dinner.

Excellent location, view and room set up. Breafast was excellent and the mountain views were fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I did not like smoking on the balconies. When our windows were open at night the guest below us was constantly smoking on the balcony and getting in the room so we had to shut our windows.

excellent location at foot of Langkofel / Sasso Grande mountain. Isolated, but close to next town and a few restaurants in close vicinity (shoulder season, some closed). excellent advice from owner on hikes and activities. excellent breakfast included. Was excellent, simple bed and breakfast, new, great furniture / interior. Perfect stay

Fresh and modern facilities with a great location and beautiful mountain views. All you need for a great family holiday including a possibility to cook meals when needed. Friendly and good service.

Nothing to complain about

The hotel exceeded all our expectations — everything was perfect. It’s new, stylish, and modern, with breathtaking views of the Sassolungo mountains from the balcony. Couldn’t have asked for more.
