Loved the location and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The building was really quaint.

Not too keen on the spiral staircase with heavy suitcases. Unfortunately I think we were in the smallest room which meant we had to move around one at a time. Also not being french we would have preferred a kettle and larger mugs for tea rather than the coffee machine. Only other issue was that it was described as having an airport shuttle but this didn't exist we managed with a train instead.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They got special items for breakfast for special dietary requirements which was a great touch. They sent a list of restaurant recommendations--may good restaurants are within easy reach. They even recommended a restaurant at our next stop. The parking is close by and a good price. It's right in the centre of the old town so very easy to walk to all the main sights (Arena, Van Gogh's footsteps, Roman ruins etc).

Nothing really. The price value for money is good. For physically impaired people, there are 3 floors with no elevator.

Beautiful hotel on the edge of the pedestrian areas - so quiet, but still close to the action. Rooms were clean and stylish. Beds were comfortable. Loved the tiny balcony looking out onto the streets below and over the rooftops. The family room is great - king bed, then a dividing wall separating it from two twin beds, wish we could find this configuration more often when travelling with kids.

Front desk staff was unhelpful - seemed flustered when we asked for a taxi to the train station. We ended up walking (25 minutes with baggage).

Central position, nearby garage 24/24h at just €11 for 2 nights, familiar friendly atmosphere, a traditional historical place, good breakfasts with sweet and salted choice, even fresh fruit. No elevator, very small rooms, but very clean, well furnished even with excellent toiletries/soap, coffee machine, aircon, good matrass and towels. Out small dog accepted at €15/night, provided with a pet-bed!

Excellent small hotel in the city centre, very close to all the touristic attractions.The room was spacious, clean, perfectly air-conditioned. The staff was very nice and welcoming, despite I don't speak french and the owner did not speak english. We could fix smoothly a change in the reservation. I have tried the hotel restaurant only once and it seemed excellent. Despite the hotel is located in a traffic-restricted area, you can drop the baggage at the door and then park your car in a public parking nearby. The hotel provides discounted tickets for the car parking(10€/day)

The hotel has an authentic personality, fitting the location it is in as well, the old town of Arles. Staff was very helpful and kind. The view from the top floor is very scenic, with the window opening up to the old rooftops in Arles, and the square below. The breakfast has few but very good products. The building itself is impressive, everything is clean and tidy.

The bed in the top room was quite small for two people, not queen-sized (160 cm) as advertised. The walls/doors are quite thin, you can hear people talking on the staircase very clearly.

Comfortable and clean hotel in excellent location in the centre of Arles close to restaurants shops and main sights. Everything very walkable. Gaultier on reception was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The room was a decent size and although the bathroom was quite small, we did however have the advantage of having a bath and shower (room 14) which was useful for easing our muscles after long days of sight seeing. Highly recommend.

Bathroom was small.... but this is an old property and everything was clean and cared for. No lift.

Within walking distance to restaurants and monuments. Buffet breakfast offered a good selection of food options. The standout for this property are its staff. Friendly and helpful. My luggage was carried up the spiral stair case which was very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. The midday checkout is great.

Staff were helpful and booked us an excellent taxi service (Marianne VTC), which we used 3 times during our stay. The room had a safe, good air conditioning and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel is perfect, and it was a hotel with character but modern facilities. Breakfast was excellent. There is a great restaurant next door for evening meals.

The room we had was pretty small. We got used to it, but would have preferred a larger room, as we were staying 6 nights, which is quite unusual.

Every member of the staff was exceptional; friendly and efficient, and even carried our luggage up the stairs. The location was perfect too, walkable to every site, taxi drop off in front, and many restaurants on the adjacent square.

Nothing except that there was no elevator.
