The resort was stunning and facilities were brilliant. Location of the resort was just right in terms of transfer time from the airport. There was an array of restaurants to choose from and the pools were more than what I had expected. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful with everything.

The beach is rocky and for someone not quite stable on their feet, it was a challenge that marred my personal experience. Tipping culture is in your face the whole time and for someone who saves for an all inclusive package, I felt pressured to follow the 'norm' of tipping so the additional financial burden was very unwelcome.

Perfect getaway for a family of 4. Daisy was everything we could've asked for. I asked the hotel before I arrived for a ground floor room facing a bar and they did not disappoint, I'm not sure if it was luck or by design but it really did make our holiday. The only negative I have is the aggressive attempt to sell me a timeshare/ upgrade straight after check in even after I said I wasn't interested. This continued for the next two days with early morning phone calls and notes through the door. Just be advised they will try this tell them you're not interested and move on, I heard stories of people loosing three hours to this sales pitch. Bottom line, fantastic resort, food bars, beach, pools with a sprinkling of wild animals. A place you and your family will love.

All staff who are working in this hotel are so welcoming. From the bar, restaurants, house keeping, front desk, are very nice and attentive. For an all inclusive resort, the food is good and decent. Our favorite was the breakfast buffet and Margarita restaurant (Mexican restaurant).

There’s really nothing I can think of in terms of what we didnt like about our stay, but if I have to nitpick, the only slight negative is one pushy staff who are offering the to join the club H10 after we said we are not interested and making us feel bad with an unnecessary comment.

Eden Pool waitresses were great and made our honeymoon special. Yasmine was excellent and the bartenders were good. Food was pretty great with several choices in every location. Steakhouse and French was excellent. Mayan Dinner show was Amazing! Vendor night was great and enjoyed free music and activities. Room service was decent and glad they had ketchup and mustard.

Wish they had salsa for the room service quesadillas. Actual napkins for room service instead of just the silverware pack with tiny napkin. Breakfast buffet should have 2 different spots for crispy bacon. It takes forever when buffet is getting busy. Route 66 needs more staff, takes a long time to just sit down and have snack or milkshake Should have daily fresh fruit at breakfast and lunch buffet. Oranges, bananas, mango, kiwi, or some cut pineapple. Apples one day was good.

From the start arriving at the Ocean R River Paradise we had an awesome expectation and boy, Let me tell you those expectations were over and beyond exceeded. We were greeted at the door. They took us right away to the privileged Lounge and took care of us. We were in and out within minutes and ready to explore the property. We then met our awesome Butler Antonio. Who took us on a tour of the property he explained everything and showed us around, took us to our room and from there on he was always just a text away. We’ve been multiple times to Mexico, but we were really really pleased with this resort. The food was amazing. Best that I can say from all the other resorts. The shows were so awesome and refreshing to see something new. Love the theme Mexican night they had on Saturday. Entertainment every day at the pools… I give it a 10+ we were so pleased with this resort that we booked another trip to come back this year if you go and stay at the Ocean Rivera Paradise ask for Antonio he will take good care of you. You will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing, and the cocktails. We absolutely loved all the restaurants. Privilege lounge was surprisingly good. We also loved route 66 and La Locanda, and Margarita was fantastic. The vibe of the place was really lovely too. There was a coffee shop that was pretty decent that people hang out in the am. Get there smack on 730 - long lines in the early am. My toddler loved the animals. There are monkeys and turtles and Coati etc.

More food related content - Steakhouse was ok - not bad not great Everything was pretty good. I can’t really find anything to complain about.

This was our 3rd trip to Ocean Riviera Paradise and we will continue to visit this resort for years to come! The food is amazing with so many options available. It is impeccably clean, beds are very comfortable, rooms are inviting and have upper scale amenities and the staff is the absolute best! They are always looking to help with welcoming smiles! Our butler, Adriano was nothing short of outstanding! He always went over and beyond to make sure our stay was the absolute best and took care of us - we did not have to worry about a thing! On his day off, he took care of finding the alternative medication available in Mexico for Tamiflu and he arranged for it to be delivered to us for a member in our group that came down with influenza. He also stopped at stores three different days on his way to work to pick up things we needed for our stay. He made and changed all reservations for our dinners, introduced us to individuals who could help us with everything from excursions (Daniel and Maynor) to where to get fresh towels (Mikey)! All of these individuals were amazing and became friends throughout our trip. Any time we would come in contact with one of them, they would welcome us with an, “Hola, familia”! MUCHAS GRACIAS Amigo, Adriano!! ALL of the wait staff were fantastic! Sergio in the Privilege Lounge was excellent and we requested him multiple times. There are some less than perfect reviews out there about the beach, and I have to say that we did not have a problem at all with the beach. We swam daily in the beach and it was beautiful! The monkeys, cotes and iguanas added something special to the atmosphere at the resort as well! Muchas Gracias ORP! Cannot wait to visit you and all of our friends again!

Not a big complaint, but adding one more train to the train service in the evenings would be very helpful.

Everything was pretty easy in 'privilege'. We were always able to find chairs by the pool or beach, something I was initially worried about. We liked having daily room service. Our 'butler' checked in on us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. He got our dinner reservations for us upon arrival, so we didn't have to deal with making reservations. We were also really excited upon arrival when we were upgraded to a room with a swim up pool. The premium liquor in Privilege bars was also nice. The evening entertainment was pretty impressive. They go all out, similar to a cruise experience.

One day, the room service staff forgot to fill our mini fridge. We only really needed more water, but it took 5 attempts to get water brought to our room. Finally, a 2nd attempt the next am from our butler we got it delivered but at that time it was too late. We think the problem was because the room staff marked that they had done it but they hadn't. We weren't trying to scam but just needed more water for coffee (which we'd be happy to get on our own but only had 1 small container to refill which was not enough). So it was sort of a weird ending to an otherwise really positive experience.

Rooms were very nice. Staff and customer service was friendly and accommodating. The basic food was very good; buffet was surprisingly good. Eating at the specialty restaurants was relatively easy. Despite being full, it didn't seem crowded. Any issues we had with the room (the safe and toilet) were addressed quickly. The gym was terrific. Pool options were plentiful. Beach was limited due to tides and seaweed. Jet skiing was easy. Thet only have one sailboat. Lots of staff to help plan trips. Overall great staff, good food, and excellent value (for us).

The property was fine but the biggest issue was a natural phenomenon, seaweed. It was a great pity that we couldn’t enjoy the beach and swim in the sea. The sea was brown and looked and smelt disgusting. We had to pay for a couple of trips to go elsewhere to enjoy the beach. The local people confirmed the seaweed issues stretched from the top of Cancun right down the Riviera Maya and lasts from June to October every year. Even though we had to pay to enjoy another beach location on the Maya the seaweed was considerably reduced so you could enjoy the sea. Otherwise the hotel and resort was fantastic.
