Breakfast is always a good selection Location is decent, just off the promenade, so easy to find.

Parking isn't the greatest. I'd naturally assumed a hotel has its own (free) car park - which it does but it's only by reservation and not free. We were lucky to get almost all of our stay in the hotel's own underground car park but it's not the easiest to manoeuvre. No aircon in the rooms - so on a summer night the room gets really hot. If you leave the door open it's loud at night for a bit as people are out drinking (and therefore shouting).

Breakfast was very good and a fair selection. Dining room very clean and staff attentive. The bedroom had all facilities required for a good stay was cleaned regularly if required. All the staff we pleasant and willing to help if required. A lovey stay

Proper cups in room would be an advantage as the paper ones are not economic and very small. Our room was on the small side which having stayed here before was not expected and a little disappointing but overall we had a great stay

we can't fault the hotel.my wife is belgian and lived in ostend until she was 12 and now at 76 whenever we return to Belgium we head for the Princess. this time we came with one of our sons and his family and the family room is spot on.

nothing to dislike about the hotel although the parking in ostend in common with most other places is difficult and the hotel's limited garage space is usually booked up months in advance ,so we had to use the underground car park which wouldn't accept three of our credit cards on trying to exit and eventually after a good deal of panicking we were able to find two cards that the machine accepted to release our two cars.

The people we met who worked in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was very good too, bed was very comfortable and room was spacious, quiet (even in high season) and air-conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was very good too so we were very happy with our choice.

Only minor thing was that the shower was not very powerful, but it didn’t really bother us. We would be very happy to return.

The choice of food for breakfast was exceptional, everything from perfect scrambled eggs to pancakes was available. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable.

The shower was very good but it wasn't possible to have a shower without getting the floor very wet and the surface of the shower tray was very slippery and therefore a bit dangerous. A non-slip shower tray would be better or at least a grab rail on the wall.

Location of the hotel close to the beach, in a small street with little (one-way) traffic. The room offered enough space, was clean and quiet (second floor). Bathroom and toilet separated. Good bath (and shower). The small balcony was useful. The bed was nice. Breakfast was huge: great choice of everything (bread, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, etc.). Last but not least, friendly staff, accurate and helpful. We stayed here with our grand-child for three nights and would stay here again.

No airco. The door of the elevator was a bit noisy. The children's room on the ground floor could need some refreshment (some toy-materials didn't work no longer as they should).

The Princess Hotel has been meeting our expectations since 1995, and this time managed to exceed them since it's refurbishment. The rooms are modern, spotless and feature a safe and ours had a walk-in shower which we prefer. 30 seconds walk to the seafront and a few minutes from the city centre where bars, cafes and shops abound. The breakfast was included and was excellent with a range of options; continental style or scrambled eggs and bacon, yogurt, even cheesecake or doughnuts if you so wish. There is also a pleasant bar area.

Location excellent. Have stayed in Ostend many times. Usually 4 times a year before Covid but in other accommodation. Room was everything I could ask for but appreciate my stay was out of season. Perhaps my requests may not be met in high season however would gladly return to the hotel.

Didn't like the cardboard cups for coffee in the room. I went out and bought a mug rather than use the paper cups in the room.

Great location,2 min walk to the sea front.Room was very spacious perfect for our family of 4. By the Reception area there is a small playing room which kept the kids busy for a long time. Thank you to the receptionist on duty on Friday night as he went above and beyond to help ,us really appreciate it

Breakfast waiters were not very pleasant. Breakfast had a good selection. However the bacon bits were a bit strange Street parking is a bit tricky, but there is underground parking nearby.

Great breakfast. Hotel very clean. Rooms very quiet. Location is fantastic, in a quiet street close to the promenade and the beach. Staff very welcoming, and immediately provided info about WiFi codes, and other info, including where to put our luggage at checkout. This made us feel really relaxed.

Just a point to note that not all rooms are air-conditioned.
