Beautiful aparthotel right in the centre of Symi port area. Up a quiet, rather uneven road, but really close to all restaurants and bars. Beautiful pool area which was very quiet in October. Breakfast was good. Room was small but had everything we needed. Nice patio area we sat out on in the evening.

Symi itself, whilst unspoilt, is not great if you have mobility issues. Streets and pavements are uneven and narrow. The breakfast room is down a steep flight of stairs and would prove difficult if you have mobility issues. Beach nearest the town was washed away shingle and although the water is clear blue and lovely, lying on concrete wasn't the best as there were no sunbeds in October. The hotel itself was beautiful and I'd definitely visit it again.

Lovely breakfast (there was something for everyone) and it was available until 10:30- always a bonus. Only about 200m from the harbour and ferry port but they will pick you up for free if you let them know when your ferry arrives. It has a pool which is a rarity on this island as there is very little flat land! The staff were friendly and helpful. The villas are traditional in design with lots of character, each separated from the others by beautiful gardens which provide shade and privacy.

In general, the place was perfect! Great atmosphere, excellent, efficient, and courteous staff, a pool that the kids really enjoyed, and spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, though designed in a somewhat outdated style. Overall, it was excellent, and we will definitely return to the hotel again!

The location is really good - beside the harbour but away from nightime noise. Staff were very helpful and the hotel grounds are lovely. The free hotel transport from the hotel to the ferry for our departure was unexpected and very welcome.

Bedroom pillows were unsatisfactory but manageable. Breakfast is self service which is no problem but you have to carry your meal up stairs from the underground buffet area to a very pleasant open air courtyard area

The staff were very helpful and the hotel is like a paradise, tranquil and peaceful with a pool. The hotel is centrally located, short walk to the harbour, tavernas, bars and shops. Anyone visiting SYMI should definitely consider staying at the hotel as it’s away from all the noise and crowds.

the landscaped gardens make you feel like you are in the Caribbean or Mexico . the resort was quiet which allowed you to relax quickly. A lovely selection of items for breakfast. we would highly recommend the hotel

There was nothing that we disliked , the only thing that we would suggest is the check out time in the in room book needs updating as the hotel has moved to summer check out at 11. however Booking.com and the book in the room was showing 12 o’clock

Breakfast was fabulous, the landscaping was beautiful and the staff just so caring. I loved that the pool was shady. Staff came to pick us up from our ferry. Will definitely return.

Would have preferred the pool to be open later in the evening, maybe to adults only? Would have been nice to have a late evening swim as it was very hot, but understand because of noise etc.

Amazing staff - helpful but not annoying Exceent location - close to everything ..and again - amazing staff.

Mosquito nets would be a great to have - during our stay, mosquitoes were unpleasant disturbance. We should have stayed there for longer - two nights is too short :(

Amazing location very close to the main port of Symi with easy access to all transport options, eating and the only pool in town! (which you really need after a hot summer day). Transfers and luggage storage etc we’re all really efficient and helpful. it’s a lovely little village style place, with very clean rooms. The gardens were immaculate and really special.

We had an issue with the room type we booked on arrival and moved on the second day, it didn’t match the description we booked which there was a dispute to unfortunately. when we got to the second room, the air con didn’t work and it was the most uncomfortable night sleep we’ve ever had. That said, we’d still stay again, as they fixed these issues quickly and enjoyed our stay.

Iapetos is central to Symi port, tavernas, bars and shops. Room was spacious with a modern bathroom. Beds were super comfy and they also supplied robes and slippers. Grounds are lush and well kept, with plenty of tables and chairs close to the open air bar and approx 15 sun beds around the under cover pool. Breakfast can be around the pool / bar or in your room. It is substantial and varied each day. All staff were super friendly and warm. Receptionists were very helpful in organising taxis for visits to the up town village and also transfers to and from ferries. We highly recommend iapetos and would definitely stay again

Perhaps a few more sun beds if space permits.
