The room was far more than what I expected. The motel is one of the oldest in Calexico and though it's retro exterior confirms this ALL of the rooms have been renovated with modern furniture, Wi Fi, cable TV, refurbished bathrooms and fixtures, new walk in showers, and flat screen televisions! Additionally the hotel is less than a half mile from the city's main thoroughfare i.e. Imperial Boulevard and the International border. This hidden gem of a motel is also in a very quiet part of the city.

I would recommend that the rooms have at least a small clothing drawer. My room did have a low modern table where I placed my folded clothes on.

Small but welcoming room. It was Thanksgiving and the owner’s family were home to celebrate, which was fun to see.

Perfect location for a border crossing to Mexico, just 5 mins away walking. Reasonable range of shops and facilities nearby. Great hotel and super helpful staff.

it’s a safety and close from the borderline with Mexicali and what a I like most is a PET FRIENDLY... I love to travel with my 2 little chihuahuas the owners are very kind and honest and the price it’s really affordable and convenience thanks a lot !!!

Nice front desk lady, the rooms are really clean and include a minifridge.

It is a tiny Motel with Hotel prices.

The location was perfect, close to where I wanted to be. I felt extremely safe.

The air conditioning didn’t cool. I was moved from one room to another and it was better but during day it was upper 60s in the room.

It was close to my destination and pretty quiet for the most part. Got my room on a timely manner.

Room much smaller than expected, very thin walls, could hear snoring from next door so hard to sleep, coffee pot wasn't clean so couldn't make coffee.

Near the Mexican border

Too expensive. Walls are thin. Could hear neighbors talking and coughing. TV was on the opposite wall of the bed so we could hear TV as well through the thin walls.
