The room was an excellent size. It was great that there were plates and bowls specifically in our room for us to use. The microwave was in the shared dining and lounge room, along with the fridge. There was a small tv in the bedroom and a larger one in the shared lounge. The hotel is next to a decent sized CO-OP shop, local bakery, Indian takeaway and local sweetshop. Parking is round the back. There is a communal sink to be able to wash dishes too plus a kettle in your room. Great place to stay.

We liked everything.

This hotel used to be a bank, thus the name. We stayed in a very spacious room on the main floor, the room right at the corner of the building, that would have originally been the front door of the bank (and is the room in the picture on the website). This room is set up as a handicap room, with a very wide open bathroom and shower, very large. With the room being so close to the street/sidewalk, you can hear everyone who walks past. Some people like to sit on the steps outside, which is right outside the room, but they move on and aren't a bother. The room is comfortable, the bed is comfortable and we had a good sleep. There is a Tesco right across the street and down some steps, which is very handy. There is a fantastic common area room on the main floor of the hotel that has free tea, coffee, snacks; also a common area fridge you can put some of your food into. There are magazines and books on Scotland, as well, which was really nice. There is no reception area or staff on the premises. You access your room key from a lockbox at the back of the building, in the free car park area. You receive your lockbox code via email. This hotel is in a handy location to get onto the road again in the morning and is well maintained, with nice snack amenities. We recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering Muir of Ord for your overnight stay(s).

This was our second hotel where we had to access our key via a lockbox. At first we didn't see the lockboxes (our oversight), so that took some time to figure it all out. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

The facilities were great and it was very clean, great value for money we would happily stay here again, we stayed for one night, the staff we encountered were very friendly, it was very easy to check in/out. The communication was very good, instructions were clear, lots of parking nearby as well as a few spaces at the property itself.

The room was very warm during the night (the weather was very warm when we stayed) Maybe fans in the room could help?

The bed was very comfortable and nice and high. Way better than low beds for us mature folk. Supermarket, pub, takeaway all within 1 minute walk. Though the pub doesn't do food. Close to train or petrol stations. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Communal fridge available, and plenty of tea coffee and biscuits.

Being on a corner its surprisingly busy for a small village. Can get ready noise.

Easy check in. Convenient parking. Clean and homely. Good facilities in the room - microwave and plates etc. Comfortable bed.

When we turned the light off to sleep we noticed there was a very bright green light on the ceiling (perhaps a safety feature) which made it hard to sleep. The road noise outside started about 6am and by this time it was bright from the sunlight, the room would really benefit from blackout blinds. We used the accessible room and the sink wasn't great, either cold water or it splashes water everywhere because the hot water means super high pressure! Understandably the mirror was low (above the sink) but a longer mirror for people standing would also be useful.

Modern renovation of old bank building. Comfy bed. Roomy room on first level. Designed for wheelchair access. - Large open shower - low sink for wheelchair (minor issue given accessibility for wheelchair bound guest) 4 seat table in sitting room allowed 4 guests to assemble and share a wine and cheese buffet. Caretaker and jack of all trades, Morag, will help with any and all issues.

Muir of ord is a small town without restaurants or amenities. But, Town of Beauty is just down the road with great cafe.

Muir Bank is a lovely place to stay, the en-suite room I stayed in was spacious and exceptionally clean and well presented. Tea and coffee facilities with complimentary biscuits on arrival a microwave is also provided in the room. The property does not provide breakfast but you are warned of this prior to arrival. The property supports local businesses and recommends places to get breakfast and other meals. There is also a supermarket close by to get produce to make your own breakfast. Morag the lovely property manager popped in to welcome me after I had arrived and asked if there was anything I needed, she was very friendly and accommodating. The property is close to many places of interest and easily accessible when driving and private parking is available. I enjoyed my two night stay and would definitely recommend.

I thought the place was lovely and wanted to support the local cafe by having breakfast with them but when I wandered over at 08.00 all the local shops were closed. I ended up going to the local supermarket to find suitable breakfast. Which wasn’t really a problem for me. But if you are the type of traveler who likes a have a cooked breakfast this place isn’t really for you unless you can make your requirements in a microwave.

Convenient stop off before catching the Ullapool ferry. Immaculately clean and the addition of microwave, cutlery etc in the room is an added bonus. It's in the middle of the village so really convenient for Co-op (across the road). This means there is a little bit of background road noise until 9/10 pm but not enough to interrupt sleep. We will very happily stay here again.

This was a well located stopover for our journey from the Ullapool ferry to the Hebrides back home to North east England. A well organised access arrangement with codes and key boxes suited us perfectly. Well supplied with a microwave as well as a kettle and basic crockery and cutlery meant it was easy to make a simple breakfast before our departure. Off Street parking worked well.

The room was very clean, spacious, and very welcoming. Liked the fact there is a microwave, crockery, and cutlery in the room. The refreshments tray was lovely. It was in a very quiet location, and self check in makes it very easy upon arrival and also self check out too. Would highly recommend this place to stay. I would definitely be back to stay here.

Not that I wanted to put any dislike on here, so I can only say there would be only one small thing, and that was it was a shame there was not a small fridge in the actual room itself, and that would make everything perfect for the stay. I understand there is a communal fridge. However, when you maybe wanting a drink or something cold to eat, late at night or early morning it means you have to get dressed to go to the fridge. It would be nice not to have to leave your room. This comment does not in any way deter how good the room is. Overall, the comment itself is just what could be improved to make 100% perfection.
