Best freshly cooked breakfast in the Northern Hemisphere! The breakfast room itself is a bit lacking in atmosphere - could maybe do with some gentle music to cover up the noise & chit-chat from the kitchen - this can only be heard because of the tranquillity of the location! Dinner through in the other Restaurant is a bit pricey, but well worth it - always delicious and piping hot. There's a bar area, and an outdoor seating area which I think might be a recent addition - it looks lovely.

I love staying here. The view from the waters edge facing rooms is just so peaceful. The downside of that is you are roadside, so the 4.30am delivery woke me 🤣 The food and the staff and the Manager Ian absolutely make this place for me, they are so nice & friendly. What could do with updating/improving are the mattress and most certainly the pillows. Would I return - yes I would. Even just for the Sticky Toffee Pudding! 🤣

It is more a restaurant with rooms than a hotel, so there is no official reception or lobby. Nicely decorated rooms with comfortable beds and bathroom. It is located in a small, quiet village opposite Inverness where it is easy to park your car. If you are lucky and at the right time/tide you can even spot dolphins.

The restaurant is somewhat more upmarket than we hoped for. Our room was advertised as "sidewards view at the sea" which turned out to be a small window in the corner of the room where you could just see the sea if you turned your head enough.

Friendly staff, good service and a nice welcome. It was a very busy pub downstairs on a Saturday night, obviously very popular. Some locals or visitors seemed known but the service was just as good for us overnighters. Excellent meal. We had a twin room and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pub downstairs was quiet after closing time and was no problem at all. I was shown other rooms when leaving and would book a different one if available another time as they are bigger than our twin and looked a bit smarter. I think our twin had a new bathroom and it lacked a few useful things like hooks and the rainfall shower didn't have a separate handset but these are nice extras, didnt spoil it. The bedroom furniture was a little tired in places but everything was clean. The main things you need, cleanliness, comfy bed, nice service and a good meal and breakfast are all there and I'd stay again. Great spot too.

Staff, excellent, evening meal first class. Room clean bed comfortable, my only negative is the quadrant shower is small . No plugs beside bedside table. As i am a very early bird, Unable to get out of the hotel front door locked .apart from fire exit at the rear.that a member of staff informed us about. Just as well I didn’t have an early flight! Reception area we were confused as to where to go to book in. A small sign to direct you through to the bar would help. Saying that I would definitely return to this hotel.

Loved the view from our room. This was our first stop on NC500 trip and it is ideally located for that - either at start or finish! Cosy restaurant and I had my favourite meal of the entire holiday here- beautifully cooked venison with interesting vegetables- superb flavours. Breakfast good too. Staff genuinely friendly and professional.

Food pricey -I couldn't justify having a pudding!- but then discovered this is the same on the entire NC500 route. I would say though that it did taste delicious- is a good chef here!

Really friendly staff, helpful, friendly. Nice beds, great shower, sufficient amenities. Overall, very good!

There's no ventilation in the room so it gets rather stuffy (we had to open windows as the CO2 levels we're going through the roof). The vegetarian options are overall limited. Staff was super friendly in offering us alternatives when asked, for breakfast, one morning they even had a veggie sausage, and probably the frequency that vegetarians come to stay is just to low for this to be worth changing, but for me personally, I'd love to have more veggie options :)

At it's heart, it's a classic Scottish pub, but the accommodation is clean and modern. We had one dinner in the restaurant as well as breakfast each morning. The staff are friendly and make the stay enjoyable. Tip: Have the full Scottish Breakfast. You won't need lunch.

It's about 15-20 minutes drive to the city, so it's not the most convenient location. But if you're out all day and have a car it's not too much trouble. Parking can be a little hard to find close by.

What a lovely peaceful hotel situated a short distance from Inverness. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional. The food was excellent, and the room was really cosy with lovely furniture, a very comfortable bed, and a clean and modern bathroom . My room had garden views. If you are travelling to Inverness, I highly recommend a stay here where you have the view of city, the Moray firth and bridge but the peace and quiet.

Lauren gave us a very friendly and warm welcome to the hotel and, like all the staff we met, was outstandingly friendly, helpful and keen to ensure our stay was a happy one. The dinner menu was excellent giving as range a interesting and desirable choices (I wish we lived closer to dine there frequently!). The food is first class.

Nothing - everything was excellent

The room was comfortable, the hotel on a quiet street, free parking, and we could hear sea birds through our window, which was nice. The in house restaurant served dinner and breakfast which was very convenient after a long day of driving. Our meals were hot and tasty. Especially the sticky toffee pudding! Breakfast was continental, but a good selection of items.

Our room looked out over the garbage bins in the back lot. After dinner we waited for the check for about 20 minutes after our dishes were cleared, and finally got up and found a staff member to cash us out.
