Staying at Strome Lodge in Inverness was a joy! Every aspect of our room and stay was thoughtful and comforting. We were welcomed in with a warm cup of tea, an amazingly comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of a quiet street just steps away from the main streets of Inverness. The room was clean, well-stocked, and our host even provided us with a list of recommended local restaurants/bars. Our host, Marian, also made us a lovely full English breakfast the following morning which was much appreciated given we were heading off for a long day-trip to the Isle of Skye. I could not recommend this B&B any more, and I know I'll be back the next time I'm in Inverness :)

The stay was perfect!

Strome Lodge is a beautiful guesthouse about a 10 minute walk from the river and city centre. Marion & Sean are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. They gave us lots of tips for the surrounding area and good recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Our room was very clean and comfortable with the addition of chilled water, fresh milk and some lovely homemade shortbread which we really appreciated. The breakfast was great too. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting Inverness.

Inverness is a walkable city with Strome Lodge a quick walk from train and bus stations. It also was an easy connection for tours to the Isle of Skye. Our hosts could not have made us feel more welcome. Their hospitality is a treasured memory of our trip to Scotland. Our room was immaculate and provided everything one could need for our 3 day stay. And the breakfast!! Each morning I came down the stairs feeling like a queen knowing the delicious spread our hosts prepared for us. Sean and Marion also accommodated our early morning departure times. We are so grateful we found this special B&B.

After an 8 hour train journey, the 15 minute walk to the B&B was a relief. Wonderful welcoming owners made for a very pleasurable few days’ stay. Tasty substantial breakfasts set us up for the day with useful advice from our hosts to make the most of the visit to Inverness. Spotless room with facilities and a lovely hot shower waiting after our excursions. We really enjoyed our time at Strome Lodge with such pleasant owners.

Nothing negative.

The hosts (Marion & Sean) couldn't have been more welcoming into their lovely home in the heart of the city. The room was extremely comfortable and provided everything that I required. The location was excellent for me, given my stay was work-related, with all of my calls easily accessible via car (the parking of which, was kindly possible as they gave up their driveway to accommodate). The breakfast offerings were great too & went down a treat, setting me up for each day. Certainly worth another visit when in Inverness.

Our hosts we're very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was excellent. Nice touch being greeted with a bottle of water and makeup removing pads in the bathroom. My request for non dairy milk was no problem. The fresh fruit at breakfast was delicious.

We (me and spouse) felt we would have liked unlimited coffee at breakfast (!!) & in fairness we didn't challenge the second small caffettiere on offer.. possibly we should have just asked!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Strome Lodge. Eveything was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, there's beautiful art on the walls as well. The accommodation had everything we needed. The owner was the most lovely, kind and warm person, we truly felt welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, we definitely had a great start to each day. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area!

Marion and Sean were an absolute delight as hosts. The property is an easy 15-20 minute walk to the main shopping and eating area in central Inverness. There was plenty on offer for breakfast and the quality was excellent.

Having some warm summer days while we visited, I would have loved a lighter doona/quilt or a top sheet for a more comfortable sleep.

Marion and her husband (sorry I'm terrible with names) were excellent, we stayed for 2 nights and the first morning we were out super early for a trip. Marion left us some fruit and yogurt out with orange juice so we didn't start the day hungry. The next morning we had a fry up which was amazing, we also had croissants provided and yogurt and fruit. We cannot complain one bit, the stay was what we needed and more. Thanks both! And to the doggies! Also, the room was lovely, bed was super comfy and we had little touches such as Marion got my partner chocolate and a drink as it was her 30th birthday, just an overall amazing stay.

No faults in our eyes.

Our 3 night stay at Strome Lodge was a pleasant, cosy and homely experience thanks to the hospitality of our hosts Marion and Sean, who were extremely friendly and kind. Our room was comfortable and clean, and our breakfast was delicious and filling - it included a selection of cereal, fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast and a homecooked Scottish breakfast. It was also nice to see our hosts' cute dog and her adorable puppies!

Parking was a wee bit tight on the first day when there was another car, but wasnt an issue for the rest of our stay.
