We loved our stay at Friars Bridge Guesthouse. Lynda could not have more helpful in every aspect of our trip. Lynda arranged taxis for us to meet connections and tours, provided information on dinner reservations at the time of booking, so that we were able to enjoy a lovely meal out. We were given a larger room in the new section of the property that provided a little seating area outside away from the wind and in the sun. The beds were really comfy. My husband was unwell, and Lynda provided an extra heater to keep the room warm for him. We enjoyed breakfast each morning, with local fruit and local yoghurt. Lynda always packed up any extra from breakfast so that we could eat it later in the day. A lovely little touch was the homemade fudge and banana cake. We were able to leave our large luggage with Lynda while we went up to the Orkney Islands for 2 nights, which was just amazing. Thanks, Lynda, for a memorable stay.

Our stay was exceptional in every way. We are truly grateful to Lynda, who demonstrated a unique hospitality, kindness and care. We felt pampered and happy. Our room was spacious, extremely neat and cozy. A welcoming chocolate fudge was delicious. The location is perfect. There is a board close to all rooms which contains a very useful information. There is a cooler with still water, which is always amazing to have near by. We are looking forward to staying here again in future and highly recommend this place to everyone! Thank you cordially much!

We had an incredible experience at this property! The location is perfect – peaceful, yet close enough to all the main attractions. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made this trip special was our host, Lynda. She was so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From providing great local tips to assisting with any questions we had, her hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely 1-night stay at Friars Bridge Guesthouse! The guesthouse is in a great location if you're hoping to walk into Inverness Old Town, and was very quite despite being close to a roundabout. Lynda was a wonderful host, offering suggestions on where to eat, what to see and being available when needed. The room itself was very private, but on the smaller side considering the price. Homemade fudge in the room however was a lovely touch! A great option if you're spending a night in Inverness and looking for a more independent, guesthouse type of stay.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was very clean and adorable! We truly loved our short time here. Lynda and her husband were so accommodating and went above and beyond with their services. It was the kindness and hospitality we needed when everything about our trip before then had gone so wrong. She really turned it around for us and we couldn’t be anymore thankful for everything she did. I definitely recommend staying here and I will absolutely be back when I visit Inverness again!
No complaints!

This was a wonderfully clean space with all the amenities you could want. They had a big bottle of water that you could fill up your water bottle. Such a thoughtful gesture! The owners were wonderful and very helpful. They allowed me to use their refrigerator to store a few items. The breakfast looked wonderful, but we didn’t have a chance to try it. It was very close to everything, downtown, the grocery store, etc. Great stay, I would highly recommend!
There was nothing we didn’t like

Hostess-proprietor Linda greeted us by name upon our (late) arrival, then showed us to our room for a brief overview of the skylight's dual functions, etc. In the morning, at her invitation, we enjoyed a cordial visit and a healthy, economical breakfast that she prepared and served to us.
Everything was in good order. Add to that our host's cordial hospitality, which was quite refreshing.

Lynda is really nice and gave us a warm welcome. Her homemade fudge is delicious. She gave us useful hints about places to see or restaurants. Bed was good, heating was welcome after arriving on a rainy day in March. Aldi is just across the street. City, station, bus terminal are within walking distance.
Bathroom and sink are quite small, but new and clean

Yummy breakfast and good coffee! I really appreciated the map and restaurant suggestions provided by Lynda. Also Lynda recommended the midge repellent “Smidge” which saved me from a lot of discomfort during my Scotland trip!!! Lynda was engaging, entertaining and an excellent hostess!
The room was a bit small, but that was totally within my needs and expectations.

Lynda is such a gracious host!!! She messaged us before we arrived to suggest dinner reservations (please make sure you make them). She met us and upgraded our room to a larger room because a larger room was available. The room was comfortable and very clean. The homemade fudge was delicious. It was an easy location to get to and close to restaurants and grocery.
That I didn't listen about dinner reservations - although Macleod's Fish & Chips were good!
