The Black Hawk was a great place to stay. Everything was great! We were amazed at the staff and the work ethic keeping the place so nice and clean. I loved our stay. The jacuzzi in our room was awesome. The location was great. Close enough to get to things but yet far enough not to hear or see all the things going on in the Dells.

If I had to say anything to improve our stay it would be to have quieter air conditioners. Anyway great place and would definitely stay there again!

Easy to get to. Clean. Inside and outside pool. Arcade. Small playground where I could watch my kiddo play from inside our room. Small modest rooms but it was perfect for what we needed. I would highly recommend and will be back. Front desk staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful with all of my questions and requests.

It’s a little dated, but that isn’t something that matters to me. It was clean, safe, convenient and the staff was fabulous. That’s what I value and find important.

The pull out couches were horrible. Actually had springs in my back. Disappointed that the host identified it was a problem and stated he just ordered new ones AFTER I told him. Seems some compensation would have been offered. I had many family members and needed one of the two pull outs. We were there for three nights.

Close, but not too close to a lot of attractions. Loved that each room had 2 chairs and small table to sit right outside of room. Free or discounted tickets to attractions. Nice pool, outside and inside one, and grill/sitting area. Fun little arcade. Very clean.

Could not get the fan in AC to run continuously at night. Everytime AC kicked in during night it sounded like lawn mower starting and woke me up. Could use small table outside bathroom for toiletries as there wasn't room in bathroom.

Location was great. Perfect place for families. I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to motels but I would highly recommend this one. Very clean. Lots to keep the kids entertained and close to downtown which was a bonus. Friendly staff. They kept our room clean and stocked as we were there for 8 days. Highly Recommend and would definitely go back!

This motel was a quaint little setup. I wasn't sure what to expect because it was at the lower end of the cost scale for the time we went, and motels usually don't have the best features. There was no breakfast, but there is a microwave and fridge in the rooms, so you can bring your own foods. The first day I got there to check in, it was very early in the day, and no one was in the building. I waited for about 15 minutes to get checked in, but when someone came, they were friendly and very apologetic. My room happened to be ready, and I was able to get in right away which was very nice! The rooms are a bit older and basic, but cozy. The parking spaces are VERY small. =) The outside pool was closed. The indoor pool was open and heated. There is a jacuzzi and a cute little slide that goes into the pool. It was very clean. There is a small game room which was fun. We received a free passes to visit Timbavali for our stay. (Which, by the way, is NOT worth the entrance fee they charge. Glad we got to visit for free!) Overall, I was very pleased with this motel, and would GLADLY come back and stay. Just enough outside of the main town to be away from the congestion, but still within walking distance to all the shops. AND the price was right! =) Thank you Black Hawk Staff!!

The smell in the room. The weak water pressure in the shower. The small parking spaces. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but ok. (If you like a firm mattress, then its good)

I liked everything about this motel. It had great amenities and classic charm. It was a great walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town, but far enough away from everything that it was quiet. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool was amazing.

The beds a tad felt a bit old and worn, but they didn’t cause us to have any difficulty sleeping.

I appreciated the Black Hawk Motel for its fantastic location and helpful staff. The playground and indoor pool were also a big hit with our kids.

Some of the facilities need upgrading. The AC was broken in our first room, which required us to switch rooms. The second room had a malfunctioning sink drain and both the soap dispensers were empty. Apart from that, there were no major issues or problems.

Staff is super friendly. Motel is very clean and housekeeping doing phenomenal job, they even make our beds daily, and we really appreciate it. Lobby had coffee pots with tasty coffee. Even decaf coffee was available at a later time of the day. Wild Zoo tickets were included. That's a lot of savings !

The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. The indoor pool was big and spacious, a nice game room with pinball tables and the staff was friendly.

The only complaint that i have is that the water wasn't working in the bathroom, we only had cold water in the sink.. But that didn't bother us to much.
