We were really lucky with our studio at Amaroo. A lot of apartments around Cairns and Port Douglas were fully booked. I hadn’t realised it was a really busy season. This was the last available apartment at Amaroo, which in itself looked lovely, but I wasn’t sure about the size of the studio. No need to worry, it was perfectly suited for two, with a very efficient layout. As an added bonus, we had a view of the mountains (as advertised) as well as the ocean. We loved having our coffee on the balcony, looking at the waves. There was a laundry room on our floor, a lovely heated pool on the ground floor, a tennis court, ample parking space, and you’re a very short walk away from one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever seen. And Kym’s a great host! We had a great time at Amaroo, would definitely recommend.

Everything was great

Perfect Location to beach and restaurants on the waterfront. It is close enough to Cairns when we decided to explore the city (self drive). We found it handy for all the excursions we did and we loved the pool and bbq area to meet other guests if you wanted. Laundry was helpful, but probably need a machine or reception to offer $1 coins for laundry. Loved the self contained studio with a kitchenette so we could eat in to save our money to spend on more excursions. Would love to make a trip back to Trinity Beach and Amaroo in Trinity.

The table outside on the balcony needs fixing (we forgot to report it to the reception due to other excursions) The clothes rack was broken and needed to be replaced. The bathroom is a little out dated but adequate for our stay. Would be good for the laundry to have electronic payment if possible as getting $1 coins was a little tricky.

Great location in the middle of all attractions. The appartment was fabulous with two balconies and the views were stunning. Everything was there that we needed and all spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend this appartment for your stay in Trinity Beach. The pool was also clean with all the facilities, and the staff were very friendly and there to help us book our trips.

I could not fault this appartment they left us tea, coffee milk on our arrival. The doors on on bathroom were the only downfall , which were hard to close but this didn't spoil our experience.

The view from our room was uninterrupted panoramic and elevated. Absolutely beautiful. The location was walking distance to bars and restaurants and the beach via a steep staircase that could be accessed from the front of the apartments and put you on the boardwalk of the beach - great location. The room was very clean and sufficiently (but basic) equipped. Bed and couch were comfortable. Pool was also lovely to swim in, clean and good temp. BBQ facilities looked clean, although we didn't make use of them. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Instructions for finding the property and the key lock box could have been more descriptive ie. from the road you will see a large sign, drive up the steep driveway to the top where you will find the lockbox...etc. We arrived in pouring rain at night which made it really difficult to navigate our way to the resort. Block out curtains would have been a bonus as we did wake with the sun as the roller blinds did not keep the sun out.

Location, so near beach and restaurants, can hear the waves, the admin were so helpful booking trips and answering questions, room had everything we needed, Bed was comfy, bbq and adjacent facilities were so considerate (fridge, sauces, etc)

Pillow range (I like them low, but all were so high and they didn’t have any smaller ones at admin), could hear other people on balconies talking loud so kept the doors shut sometimes (but this isn’t really the properties fault), pool was ok. Other than that loved it.

Location to North Queensland attractions very good. Spacious units. Well presented and modern. Whole complex is clean and well looked after. Short walk to beach (stairs on return). Seaview and view inland.

Family unit is actually two side by side units. Works well. However as on end of building,one unit very dark all the time.

We loved the view of the sea from our unit, which was very clean and comfortable.We liked the nice clean pool,and were lucky very few guests so had it to ourselves. There were great barbie facilities , though we didn't use them. Would have been fun to have a hit of tennis , but too hot in december. We were extremely impressed with the manager, Kym. She was so friendly, and informative. Her husband and her are obviously running the complex very well.

Nothing to dislike really. Only the walk up the steps or driveway which is needed for the great location( view). We diidn't have a car. A few more glasses, and plastic cups for the pool area would be good.

The view was stunning! We had the ocean view from one side of our apartment and the mountains\rainforest view from the other side. We also loved the location of the hotel. It was away from all the noisy part of the Trinity village, which gave us quite peaceful time at out hotel. But it was only 2-3 minutes walk to the nearest cafe\restaurant and esplanade. Loved the facilities of the hotel - the tennis court, the swimming pool, the BBQ area. They all were located close to each other and it was perfect for our active family of 4 (two adults, two kids).

The beds were not comfortable. They were uneven with the middle part being lower than the sides. Hence the sleeping wasn’t smooth and pleasing at nights. Also, it wasn’t good for my back and I could feel it in the morning/

the rooms were clean, homey, modern, and style cosiness. The location, what can I say? perfection, a bit high on a hill with spectacular views of the Ocean and the mountains on the horizon to the south and the west. The bed was comfortable, the little details around the room was exceptional

there is nothing I didn't like

Excellent location overlooking the beach. Neat, compact pool area with great BBQ facilities. Spacious room for 2 people with all the necessary kitchen resources.

Please remove the lounge floor mat as we tripped over the curled edges a few times. Perhaps in room 203, it would’ve been handy to have an electric frypan. Other than that, all facilities were excellent!
