In a lovely location, this inn offers good facilities for dining and staying, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food menu is a little limited, but there is enough there to satisfy most tastes, and when we went slightly piste they were very accommodating. Breakfast was great, and very tasty. The room are clean and well-equipped although one of our group's room was right over the AC unit which was very noisy, and he had to be moved for the second night. The thing that stood out for me was the effort the staff made to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
As with many places now, you do have to request for your room to be made up if you are staying for more than 1 night. This is a bugbear of mine, as, to me, a hotel is a place where you go to be relaxed, and I don't want to be coming back in the evening to my unmade bed. Others think differently, I know.

Amazing food, and lovely people! Great value for money and in a lovely location.
Sound proofing in the rooms! The shower cubicle was fab until the bathroom floor was soaked!

Friendliest of the staff, relaxing atmosphere, acceptance of my dogs (no extra charge), able to open the window in the room, wonderful breakfast, a real nice vibe. Great little walk round via the lake instead of the road. The hotel should advertise this walk that takes you to the cricket ground & coffee stop.
The double bed was beautifully comfortable but difficult to get out of bed as it was against a wall, so only really appropriate for 1 person unless you are very agile. Also the laundry van arrived outside our window at 8 am & was noisy for half an hour. Disturbing the peace we came for sadly …

The inn is in a lovely location, on the edge of a picturesque village. The dinner was nice and reasonably priced. Room was pretty small and cramped, but fine for 1 night. It's a dog friendly hotel and the walls and floors in the room are very thin, so we could hear dogs barking and the people above us snoring during the night.
Despite receiving confirmation, on check-in we were told our requested room was not available. Subsequently found out it was given to an agency chef. Discovered we were overcharged for drinks when we checked our itemised bill after paying, but this was quickly rectified once we brought it to management's attention.

The staff were welcoming, polite and very friendly. The room was well fitted out with bedside tables with lamps and a queen size bed. The bathroom was modern and the shower was Lovely and hot and the towels were soft and lush. There was a space to hang clothes and put your suitcases. The restaurant was warmly lit and inviting. The meal portions were large and very tasty. The breakfast was big and very well presented. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish
I am not a short person but found the shampoo bottle in the shower fixed too high and it was uncomfortable to use. I don't remember there being a light switch near the bed for the main light.

Loved our stay in this lovely country pub. It was affordable, the staff were friendly and helpful, they provided a great breakfast included in the room cost plus had other good meal choices available and the picturesque location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the rural walk into the St. Mary Bourne village. It was also a good location to visit tourist locations like Stonehenge and Winchester Cathedral.
No complaints whatsoever

The value and comfort of this inn was unmatched. It was a gorgeous, cozy, well appointed room in a spacious country property and was easily accessed by car. It had plenty of parking and lots of outdoor space. The bed was really comfortable, the food in the pub was amazing, and the breakfast was great too. Lots of options on the menu for both meals. Highly encourage a stay and they bill themselves as very dog friendly :)

Staff were absolutely superb. Other than that all outstanding. The chef, whom I checked in with (as I was early) was great, and was really helpful with my daughter's vegan tastes. To the extent that he provided her with a packet of vegan cheese in the morning as it was the first vegan cheese she'd had that she liked! I've never known a bath run so quick! It's amazing - you've got to have it. Gorgeous location with some delightful walks nearby.
New fella in the morning wasn't quick but he was brand new. Not a bad word to say about anything.

The landlady Tammy was an absolute superstar I have two rescue boys that are quite hard work and she really went above and beyond to let us enjoy the two night stay over Christmas. There is an entire area next to the pub where we could let well behaved dogs off the lead just one I couldn’t as he could escape so it’s not fully enclosed but very handy for nighttime toilets and we both stayed in one of the hard floor rooms which was perfect as we didn’t interfere with other guests. Food was fantastic and my friend who stayed one night with her pawpal Archie is also well travelled and very fussy so we were extremely impressed Thankyou for having us and thanks for the late check out it was really helpful.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Bourne Valley Inn is a beautiful quaint Inn set on the rolling hills of Hampshire’s country side. The outstanding staff team made our stay extra special and a truly incredible experience. The female manager went above and beyond to welcome us for our one nights stay to celebrate my mothers birthday. The rooms are bespoke, bed’s are super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant food is exquisite.
All was great
