The room was large & clean, air conditioning was fab. Great to have a bath and shower. They made an effort for our anniversary with rose petals and towels. The swimming pool and spa area was great, I loved the changing room and swimsuit drying machine. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. Bed and bedding were very comfy and I loved the black out curtains

The evening dinner was nice but I didn't feel overly welcome by the staff seating us. Ignored at the bar for a few minutes even though three staff were there just putting glasses away. Key cards were an issue, didn't always work Dogs were allowed to walk through dinning area, but felt they should be contained in the bar area (signage would help) Lift was confusing in levels is it level one or two, buttons etc Flying ants were a pain on the terrace

The reception arrival was quick and professional. The layout of the hotel is quite compact and parking is close to teh entrance. I used one of teh new a plentiful EV chargers. The room was basic but very clean with a generous sized shower and bathroom. We had dinner in the bar area where there was a large TV for sports fans and a range of seating for bar snacks or just drinks. There is also a large deck outside in a sheltered courtyard. I used the gym and it was clean, well attended and had a substantial range of equipment. The pool are and changing rooms were also well maintained with lockers (no coins required). Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and we had a pleasant stay.

This hotel is exceptional. We stayed for one night and used the spa facilities for a little girlie break. All the staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help us out. The spa facilities were great (I had a body scrub and massage which was outstanding). Lovely quiet hotel despite a wedding being organised for the next day - I was not disturbed by other guests. The room was incredibly hot however and I either had to have the balcony door open or the air con on - but it was August. Overall, I have no complaints and will visit again. Great location.

Quieter air con would have been helpful and shampoo and conditioner in the shower (rather than the shampoo/body wash mix that cheap hotels use - this is a good hotel after all)

Very welcoming, attentive & friendly staff. Room was very comfortable, well provided for, promptly serviced & very clean. Breakfast was good & was able to request, albeit a buffet, poached eggs as not keen on fried. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant on my last night & service in the lounge area was efficient & attentive🙂🙂

The only “gripe” was the cleaning of vacated tables at breakfast( which was far from fully occupied) using cleaning spray of which I am quite sensitive. Clear tables by all means but clean them after the service.

Had an upgrade to the bridal suite which was a lovely touch - very large room. Great balcony outside.

The room was very stuffy and I had trouble opening one of the patio doors in the main room, I called down to reception and asked for some help and the young man came up very quickly. The door was really stiff so maybe needs some WD40. There wasn't a fan or anything in the room and there's no air con and I obviously couldn't leave the patio doors open all night so it wasn't the most comfortable sleep. Also, the toilet seat in 172 needs adjusting, it's really wobbly. At breakfast, disappointed that there was only fried eggs. Your coffee machine (the one furthest right) needs an engineer call out, the settings on the cappuccino are wrong - there's no foam at all so the milfresh needs adjusting.

The staff were very polite and professional, the property was clean, well presented and well looked after

The meal deal was complicated, the first person we spoke to didn’t know what I was talking about, we paid for a drink at the table but no food listed on the bill so went to reception to ask and it was explained to us again so we paid for the meal, then the following morning were asked for another £7, even though our bill was under. The lovely man on reception realised straight away and cancelled the charge. We wouldn’t sign up to that again!

A lovely hotel with very well-mannered and proper English staff! We had a lovely room to suit, which had a balcony that our dog enjoyed sunbathing on. We had breakfast included, which although wasn't as varied and cosmopolitan as we'd have liked, it was half decent enough! I would recommend paying for your breakfast in advance, to avoid the £17 per person per day breakfast cost! Although what was there, I would not even agree with £12 per person per day. The fruit selection was not good, and the fact there was only one coffee machine was not ideal. But on the whole, it was great and the workers were nice. We really enjoyed our stay, and would consider going back should we find ourselves in the area again. A downside of the place was the swimming pool opening times, which we found closed far too early on a Saturday (7pm!) The pool was nice on the Friday night, with it open til 10pm so a shame we couldn't enjoy the pool the next night. Aside from the above, our stay was really thoroughly enjoyed and the receptionist Josh was helpful at the end of our stay when we had an enquiry to make regarding the £50 deposit policy.

The facilities were great, the staff were incredibly friendly, A special shout out to Liam, Josh (on reception), Woody (in the restaurant) and Ben (in the restaurant). They all made our stay much better!

In room 126 there was a strange water dripping noise from the ac unit in the room so we turned it off to stop it throughout the night, also I was woken up early in the morning by a fog horn sound coming from the plumbing in the bathroom which happened on multiple occasions. On the second night in room 131 the ac unit again made a noise like a steam engine (albeit a quiet steam engine). This did wake me up at 06:00 sadly which was frustrating.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, we had an excellent stay with great customer service throughout. Our room was very clean, very comfy bed and room had everything we needed. Didn’t make use of any treatments but used the pool many times which was perfect. Had an evening meal in the restaurant food quality was excellent, had one minor issue of a side order not coming out however handled immaculately by Liam and we left very satisfied. On checking out we had the pleasure of speaking to Josh who was very friendly and seemed to really care about our experience. Will definitely be returning.

The hotel had a lovely inner courtyard with a charming gazebo in the center, surrounded by landscaping that hinted at a rocky riverbed – a peaceful and picturesque touch that made for a relaxing atmosphere.

The room had several safety and maintenance issues. The door lacked a chain lock, and the peephole had no cover. The electrical wire from the drying rack was positioned too close to the bathtub. The shower had several problems – the rubber strips on the door had gaps, causing water to leak onto the floor, and the showerhead didn’t properly attach, so it sprayed water in the wrong direction. Additionally, chunks of paint on the bathroom ceiling were peeling off, likely due to the non-functional ventilator.
