First, let me say the service from all of the staff we encountered was very professional and polite. Great customer service!!! The location was perfect for the event we were attending downtown. I was pleasantly surprised by the good food at the hotel, the size of the hotel, the decor, and size of room. We had dinner and breakfast twice. The Samon and shrimp with Rossitto was really good! If you do breakfast, skip the buffet and order from the menu. There is really no need to pay for breakfast when booking your room. The prices are the same and very good. The sausage is not pre-cut or frozen, but fresh hand patted patties. The pancakes are a must order and the scrambles eggs with cheese are good! They even made the presentation look good! Coffee needs some work!! Cups are too small, causing the coffee to get cold as soon as you add creamer. Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept so good on that bed. Very comfortable mattress and mattress cover. Large bathrooms and nice large walk-in shower. This location is perfect for personnel events or business group events. It's actually a nice size hotel with a lot of conference rooms. I will definitely stay here again.

Parking! Parking can be a little confusing. They do offer valet parking. Although the price is good for self-parking, you may have to ride around the property to find a spot. My suggestion is to park in the back by the back entrance. There is plenty of parking in that area and the lighting is pretty good. You scan QR code to pay for parking for the length of your stay. It was seamless. The outside of the hotel could definitely use some paint, window washing and other updates. You would never know from the outside that the inside is nice. A little paint can do wonders! Need better lighting in the room. The wall scone lights are very low and not enough lighting, unless you turn on the hallway light or the bathroom light.

Location to river walk and great restaurants. Beds were amazingly comfortable.

Shower floor under mat was black - the bottles on the shower wall are located where you stand so you’re constantly bumping into them- should have been on back wall. It was overpriced.

Everyone I encountered from check in to check out was absolutely amazing! The valet staff helped me understand uber (new travel), the front desk staff guided me with fabulous recommendations for local sightseeing and restaurants. And Quincy, every morning for breakfast- treated me like family- with kindness and enthusiasm to hear about what I had planned for the day. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back!

Whether one is looking for some quiet time just using the hotel's various amenities, or one is looking for a night on the town, Southbank hotel is the ideal choice for your traveling needs.

The hotel is currently short staffed so there were some momentary delays during check-in and dining services.

The staff was friendly. The location was excellent. The building was old and needed some work but the rooms were very clean but the hallways needed some attention.

We thought the bar was nice but a little pricey we ordered two glasses of wine and it was $24 without tip. The breakfast buffet was cold and we were scraping the bottom of the pans and it was only 8am. We waited for 20 mins until they brought out some more food and that wasn’t hot.

Overall my fiancé and I had an enjoyable stay for the Jaguars and 49ers game. The convenience of the water taxi to and from the stadium was great. Breakfast buffet was tasty as well. If I’m ever in town for another game, this will be my go to hotel.

Only suggestion I would make is to have more valet attendants working in the morning after games due to a lot of people checking out at the same time. This made the wait for valet long and frustrating.

Our room was excellent, clean and well equipped. The bathroom had a lovely shower. The front desk staff were helpful. The breakfast was good value for money and was excellently staffed. Similarly, the bar staff were excellent as was the bar food.

The onsite parking was stressful, being both expensive and also limited at busy times.

Can’t beat convenience !! This hotel was close to everything we needed. We traveled by bus (only 8 minutes away from the hotel) then uber around ( all rides less than 7 dollars a person). Right on the river walk . Beautiful scenery.

The pool area closes at 9pm☹️ didn’t get a chance to visit ; maybe next time. Tried to rent a microwave on the first night and we were told they were all given out then we were told they didn’t do microwave rentals at all the second night.

Clean, very convenience friendly. Spacious room. Great water pressure in shower.

Ac in our room didn't get very cold at all. As if it was old.and had a hard time keeping up. Bed was ok. Pillow top mattress/cover. It was comfy but lumpy. Parking was weird. 16.99 for parking and then an additional 16-22 for self parking-valet parking. Too much going on.

Employees were super nice. The rooms were very comfortable. Specially, the people in the dining for breakfast and the breakfast was great.

The only thing I didn’t like was the furniture in the front. It was very dirty for first expression that wasn’t good. I was kind of scared about seeing the rooms, but thank God the room made it up.
