The Hotel has all you need for a stay: very nice and very helpful staff. The owner (who had to get uo at 05:00 a.m. ...) even picked us up with his private car in the night in Sestri Levante, because there weren't buses and trains any more to Cavi di Lavagna - for free! Great service. The pool and the outside bar are wonderful, the generous breakfast provided us with anything we needed. There is a huge and free of charge parking lot - very convenient! Sestri Levante, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Cinque Terre are very close and easy to reach with the car (not recommanded!), but Cavi has direct train connections to these destinations.

Nothing. The beach in Cavi is not very attractive, but wonderful beaches are nearby. There are very few restaurants in Cavi, but we recommand to go to Sestri or Chiavari for dinner.

The view and the room was amazing. Location is very good near the train and bus station. The pool is fantastic.

The breakfast is not that big of a deal. Unfortunately totally the same options and vegetables are only carrots and tomatoes. And only scrambled eggs and bacon every morning as hot dish. It should be different sometimes like fried eggs and sausages or whatever. But otherwise ok still acceptable.

The Mediterraneo is family owned and very well run. Our hosts were most welcoming and helpful. Good location, great parking - always a plus in Italy, spotlessly clean and only yards from the beach with excellent public transport on the doorstep. Breakfast choice was excellent as were the very affordable drinks and snacks in the lovely pool area. There's a garden area outside - great as we had our dog with us. Good restaurants and bars nearby. Close to main transport links. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located, within easy reach of the beach, as advertised. The pool and grounds are very nice, and so is the breakfast room and the breakfast service. We only spent one night.

The room was quite small and simple for a family of 4, but we expected that for a 3-star rating. The bathroom however was in need of renovations.. 10 years ago...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely, with aircon and a balcony. The addition of a small fridge in the room was a great help. The pool and pool bar were excellent and as it was on the third floor of the hotel, had a great view to the sea. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, from the receptionist, to the cleaners and the bar/breakfast staff and they made our stay even more enjoyable.

We loved our stay here, however, if we were to pick anything that we would improve, it would be the shower doors as the opening was quite small!

Wonderfully welcoming, spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. The pool area is a real asset, with a lovely bar and food options for lunch or afternoon (possibly evening I didn’t check). Amazing views over the bay.

No toaster. Which I found unusual. As there was fresh bread sliced. Otherwise a good varied breakfast.

Great location, quiet although very close to Via Aurelia and the beach. Beautiful views of the entire coastline from Sestri Levante to Portofino. Very clean, modernized and well preserved property. Great pool and pool deck on 3rd floor with beautiful ocean views, same for the restaurant! Enough parking spots, short walk to the bus stops and train station. Overall great value and we will come back in the future. All staff was extremely kind as well.

The only point for improvement was the wifi. Some rooms have poor coverage, please check with the reception. This is known and the owner has plans to fix this.

We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Mediterraneo. The hotel has everything you need and the staff is very friendly!

The hotel is a very well managed 3 star hotel, pet friendly, professional kind staff, perfectly clean, and with a big parking space. Breakfast was ok. It's just across the street from the beach.

Not the hotel's fault obviously, but Cavi di Lavagna is the least beautiful place in the entire region of Liguria.
