A lovely little boutique hotel in the centre of Montpellier. The room was large and beautiful, with a big comfortable bed and excellent bedding. The bathroom was also large (though lacking storage), with a spa shower and huge fluffy towels. There were lots of outlets, including by the bed, the air conditioning worked well, and the fridge/honour bar was appreciated. We were able to store our luggage and receive early check-in. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Wifi is not the best. The breakfast "terrace" is small, hot, and awkward, and right outside two rooms (which would be awkward for those clients!). The breakfast includes excellent coffee and eggs made to order, plus the usual fare, but it's a bit pricey and the room is unpleasant.

Hotel is literally 5 minutes walk to main historic town centre-Place de La Comedie- very convenient. Parking at next door Indigo car park was very convenient. The hotel has a deal to reduce the parking charges from 24 Euros to 15 for 24 hours. This is great. The staff were especially friendly and not only guided us but also booked a restaurant table that was very useful given we didn't know which one to go before they close kitchen. The rooms are not numbered but named after famous authors with their names on photos on the door and also on your individualised room swipe cards. This is unique and probably world first! We stayed in Stendhal. Others were named Casanova, Moliere, Mme de Sevigne to name a few. The building is old but the room was large, well decorated and comfortable and the large bathroom was modern and even with enjoyable body massage shower heads.

Parking the car and taking the luggage to hotel and back to the car was bit of an effort but worth it.

The room and bathroom was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The room was just as pictured, it’s nicely designed. We appreciate the safe. The blinds completely block out the light at night. It was quiet every night. Breakfast was perfect, eggs, coffee, fresh fruit was excellent, yogurt and granola delicious, service was extremely friendly, efficient, and helpful with any question. My wife and I of 47 years have significant experience travelling, we were very pleased.

Can’t think of a thing we didn’t like.

We loved our stay at Hotel d’Aragon. It is very comfortable and perfectly located. The beds are comfortable and the spa bath lovely. The best part though is the staff. Ambre is possibly the most warm and friendly person we met on our travels in France and Syndie is also so helpful, friendly and efficient. They really made our stay memorable! We also appreciated the hotel keeping our bags for a couple of hours while we waited for a train and gave us a chance to walk around town. All in all an excellent experience!

I had a wonderful stay, all the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind, they helped guide me to good places to eat. They stored my luggage while I went around town. The hotel is in a great location close to the station and walking distance to great places to eat. My room was really lovely, with a huge comfortable bed. There was a bath in the bathroom. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Such a charming room with so many heritage touches such as the desk and corner book shelf unit. Even though it was ground level, the adjacent street was quiet and window well protected from any dangers. The staff was so friendly and helpful,….over the top!!

The bathroom was beautifully upgraded to reflect modernity except they the floor area became too wet after showering. A bit of redesign to enhance the spread of water is needed to prevent the entire floor being wetted during shower use.

Rooms were clean and well appointed with period furniture.

The only complaint I have is the veranda where breakfast is provided is too small. It only seats 10 people so often is full. France is a country where people linger over their meals. More space for meals or assigned would be appreciated. Also, the almond milk they offered for my coffee had gone off. It separated when poured into my cup. Otherwise the breakfast was more than expected, the staff work hard to make your stay very comfortable.

Friendly, English-speaking staff. Amazing location, 2 minute walk from La Comedie (main square). The bedroom and bathroom were extremely spacious and well-appointed.

I had the room on the bottom floor and the first night I could hear the guests upstairs running around and dropping things in the late evening as I was trying to sleep. Also, guests having very long, loud conversations in the reception area (not with staff) was quite annoying.

Everything was excellent. The staff were absolutely wonderful! We loved them. I wished I had gotten the girls name to recommend her. She made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the location perfect. The room was amazing and very comfortable. We were happier here than anywhere else in our travels.

There is nothing we didn't like. Highly recommend.

Staff very helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast with excellent loose leaf tea selection. Staff asks what sweet you would like for breakfast (croissant, choc. croissant, brioche). You will be offered a soft boil an egg for breakfast and a small plate of cheese slices too. Very adequate. Great location.

My room was huge and so was the bathroom. But the bathroom was poorly designed with a jacuzzi tub and NO SHOWER. The jacuzzi jets were misaligned so when the jacuzzi was turned on water sprayed all over the bathroom. No instructions on how to turn jacuzzi off or on. Also there is a Bidet attachment to the toilet that does not work. The toilet seat SLAMS shut when you leave the room and opens when you enter the room. The bidet does not work so I finally turned the annoying appliance off. The worst part of the bathroom is that the toilet is set too high so my feet didn't touch the ground when when I sat down (and I'm 5'5" tall). All in all a very poorly designed bathroom. I would not choose this room again. Also lots of noise from street even with shutters closed.
