Bar food menu could offer a little wider selection. Quality of tea was so so, but I have found this to be the case on most high end hotels in Italy

Being greeted by the GM Claudio Coriasco with polite discussions about our holiday expectations enabled him to assist us personally - what a wonderful experience. The helpfulness of the team with transport to town/skyway overcame perceived travel difficulties and nothing was too difficult for them. Always smiling and remembering what we were doing/or had done to greet us personally - excellent service.

Not having air conditioning. We left the doors open at night although felt a bit exposed on ground level with easy access for critters/people (maybe screens and ceiling fans would help if you didn't want to add air conditioning?). It wasn't too hot as we arrived the day after the heatwave so we were fine - just thinking of other guests.

Without doubt it is a luxurious hotel with all amenities you can dream about on a great location with an incredible imposant view of the Mont Blanc. The breakfast is very rich and it offers a choice beyond belief. The problem is that even a hungry cyclist or a professional mountain climber is not able to taste everything that is exposed. The dinner offered sufficient food, the starter and dessert were very good but the second course and the main meal could have been better. The price was certainly rather high in comparison with the quality.

Unfortunately some procedures and rules didn’t make our arrival very welcoming. All passport numbers were sent in advance and nevertheless they wanted to see all passports. The division of rooms of our group was well defined before arrival but gave nevertheless discussions during check in. The bus was not allowed to park in front of the hotel. And they did not appreciated a social drink of the group in front of the hotel.

We had a truly exceptional stay at GCH. This hotel seamlessly blends style and comfort, providing a super relaxing atmosphere. We felt completely pampered and treated with genuine style throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices, delicious pastries, high-quality coffees, and much more. We highly recommend GCH for a refined and relaxing getaway.

The Spa and Pool area sadly is a diseaster, very small pool extremally busy with loud kids jumping to the water and splashing all the guests relaxing on the sunbeds. Absolutely not possible to rest or relax. Also the massage rooms that are close to the pool do not give a chance to properly reset. Though we were told it will be improved

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Courmayeur. The hotel itself is stunning — with beautiful design, stylish and comfortable rooms, a fantastic spa, and thoughtful complimentary touches at check-out. Breakfasts were truly outstanding, probably the best of our entire trip.

There are, however, a few things to keep in mind before booking. The hotel is located a fair distance from the ski lifts, although they do provide a shuttle service. At peak times, you may need to wait due to traffic in town or limited availability of the cars. Also, while professional, the staff could have been more warm and welcoming in their approach. Finally, the hotel has a cigar lounge, which is a nice touch, but unfortunately cigars cannot be purchased on site, even though the reception initially said it was possible

The staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and so was the spa.

That I could not control the temperature in the room.

Modern building, with comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfasts were always fresh and with a reasonably good range of choices. The hotel provides free transfers whenever is needed. The transfer car is new and comfortable. Gym, ski rooms, cigar rooms and many other amenities are available.

No free water is provided in the room. Water in the mini bar priced at 5€, with juiced priced 8€. WiFi wasn’t stable all the time. Breakfasts were the same for everyday during our stay. The SPA was always crowded, but the staff provides extra seats if needed. The shuttle drivers are often driving carelessly.

Great location, beautiful rooms, very friendly staff at the reception. Great food selection for breakfast, a lot of local produce, high quality fruit.

During breakfast it was sometimes difficult to get the attention from the staff to ask for coffee, as it was really busy. But during the slower periods the service was amazing!

The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The property itself is located just outside the historic centre which is great for access and it is perfectly silent. It is just a 8-10 minute walk to the very centre of town. The hotel is the most dog friendly place that we have ever stayed. There was a small fee for her stay, but they provided bowls, a mat, a bed and a huge bag of treats. My car was parked for me and returned charged for my onward journey. The breakfast had the most amazing view and was absolutely outstanding. The spa was lovely - my daughter and I really enjoyed the ‘Emotional Shower’ (we think it is mint then apple then eucalyptus). We have stayed in many of the hotels in and around Courmayeur and for me this is absolutely the best.
