The location was excellent. Easy to get to and a short walk to the lakeshore beach area. A short drive to Elk Rapids shopping which was awesome!! The owner was knowledgeable and available to answer any questions. The hotel is cute and situated on spacious grounds with firepit and chairs. It looked like there had been some recent upgrades to the room which made it very inviting. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for two people.

The beds were a little too soft for me. And the AC/heating unit was loud. The outer cover shook and rattled loudly when it started which kept us awake. If there is some way to fasten the cover tightly on the unit, that may help.

The owner of the place is super nice and very welcoming. She did a fantastic job with the place. It was our first time up there and she also made sure to tell us where to go and what are some of the main attractions up there. I loved my stay there and will definitely be going back. I feel really bad because we forgot to tip!

Location good.

I was in #4. There was a water problem they were working on. It did not affect my water. There was a lot of digging, messy, I couldn't sit outside in the chairs outside my room because the digging was that close to the front of my room. There are other places to sit on the property, but sippy my coffee in a chair right in front of my room is more desirable.

Everything was fine. Considering I did not know the area, I assume it was safe. Close enough to downtown. Only downfall was no ice available.

Very friendly and considerate staff. Extremely clean, love the roadside motel charm with upgrades. Nice places to sit outside. AC easy to work. Ample outlets. Easy distance to Traverse City. And so close to Pearl’s!

It was quiet, clean, and cute. Fire pits outside was great if you had time to sit by a fire under twinkle lights.

Not directly next to the beach. You had to walk a block away and cross two streets. Beach was too rocky to swim in.

Easy last minute booking to get away from all the family. Late night key pick up. Worked great.

Checkout seemed rushed. Thought it was 12 but they were pushing earlier like 10 am and we got there pretty late at night.

Never met the staff. They called to confirm that we were still coming. Tried to get more coffee (theuly provide 3 kcups and my wife and I had a cup when when got there) but the office didnt open until after check out.

Really cute inn. Very clean. Room clean, updated, and spacious. Quality bedding.

I thought the location was quite remote. I was looking for a place to stay close to Torch Lake. No fault of the inn. Booking.com recommended as a close by property. It was close to 30 mins away from Torch.

The entrance to the Inn is a little challenging to find and the road is very busy. It would have been helpful to have some sort of guide to the tv channels since we were new to the area.
