What I loved most was the warmth and dedication of the hotel staff. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond—they even let me use a lounge to work after I’d checked out, which was incredibly kind! Small gestures like that, along with their attentiveness made me feel genuinely cared for. The employees were always willing to help—whether it was with local recommendations, small thoughtful touches like remembering my preferences, or quickly addressing any concerns with a smile. What really stood out to me was their attentive and heartfelt service—it never felt forced, but rather like they truly cared about making guests feel welcome. That human connection made me feel at home and left a lasting positive impression. I even exchanged some fun stories with them! It was definitely that personal touch that made all the difference.

Only one thing: that my stay had to end! I enjoyed every moment so much—the kindness of the staff, the comfort—that leaving was genuinely the only downside.

This is the second time I book Toledo rooms. Its humble title is just a modest description of what an excellent hotel is. From the amazing staff to the comfortable and very clean rooms to the little nice useful details of the common area on the second floor where has produced bottle with assortments of teas and your bottles before heading toward the streets. With cozy reading and eating area and a very convenient downstairs restaurant. The location cannot be better. Just minutes to any point of interest. Definitely is a very welcoming, romantic and happy place.

I liked everything

It was in the historical heart of Toledo and easy walking distance to everything. The room was pleasant and the bathroom was very clean with plenty of hot water. There was access to breakfast on the premises, and also a kitchen area for making tea and coffee.

No lift so needed to carry cases up the stairs. When we arrived the receptionist was kind enough to do this for us, but it was a challenge on our departure.

Top location & very friendly & helpful receptionists, especially Pedro. The lounge with coffee & tea was so comfortable. The internet worked well. The desk & chair in my room allowed me to work. Good hairdryer & towels.

I found the bed extremely uncomfortable due to the cheap, hospital-like vinyl/plastic cover that hurt my body because it was hard and not flat.

Staff was so kind, expecialy the young man who worked afternoon's. He recommended us two excelent restaurants where food was delitious and allowed us to use luggage room. Location was excelent, near Cathedral, Jesuit church of Saint Ildefonso and Visigothic Museum in Saint Román Church. Romantic view from balcony to the street we won't forget. Balcony floors are adorned with beautiful traditional tiles. Free tea on the 1th floor was very convenient too . Cosy, simple, charming.

The room that we got were smaller than we expected and it was on the third floor as we count in America. My wife has a hard time climbing stairs, so we moved to another property owned by the same company and it was perfect.

We actually liked the property that we were at the first night, but we were hoping to get a room on the second floor by American standards (first floor by European standards). It was a cultural/language misunderstanding. But it all worked out. And we were very happy at the end. The employees could not have been more helpful to me.

Great location, superb aircon and as described!

Nothing - it was great in general! My only suggestion is that they mention/ask about dogs with the people using the venue as there was no warning that staff might bring their dogs in, and upon returning one day there was a dog in the doorway which made opening the building to enter without letting the dog out difficult, and of course some people are allergic/do not get along with dogs.

Customer service and communication was excellent!! Location was perfect! The attached restaurant provided great food and service at a good price. Cafe/coffee was excellent. We enjoyed the common break room with coffee and water.

As always, tourists need more hooks and places to put and store things off of the floor. There was no luggage rack.

The location was fantastic, in the middle of the old town. The staff were really friendly and helpful and gave good recommendations. There were free tea bags and a kettle available as well as very cheap, good coffee in the machine, all in a cool, quiet and spacious lounge perfect for chillng or working.

The rooms are basic and quite small, with no chairs or space to work, but this is made up for by the spacious lounge.

Thanks for free water and biscuits. There was a smell of cigarette in the room :( In fact, this was not the fault of hotel. The people shouldn't smoke in the room. Since the weather was too cold, it was not possible to open the window all day long to refresh the room. May be the smell was coming from the air condition's filter which should be cleaned frequently. Anyway, it was a nice stay :)

There was no elevator. It was difficult to carry suitcases for 2 floors.
