Looks like the rooms have been refurbished and the beds are newer and so comfortable

They need to supply extra pillows in each of the rooms, even when we asked twice for extra pillows, the receptionist said they would come around to drop pillows off and never did, each bed in each room is equipped with 2 pillows for a double bed and single bed has one, if you need more you can try and ask reception

We enjoyed our short stay at The Village Family Motor Inn in South Launceston. The unit was quite spacious, clean and functional. Over all a nice place to stay.

It would have been even more enjoyable had ali the power points, shaving cabinet lights etc worked. It is a pity more attention to detail was not played in this area.

Well, the receptionist and other staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, due to expiry and other reasons I rarely carry my ID and so the receptionist had an issue with putting through my booking even though it was prepaid and pre-booked through booking.com What then resulted in multiple charges, rude phone calls and extremely poor treatment by hotel ownership, a lengthy almost two week situation of getting refunds processed and going through booking.com to sort out the issue

room: option for two beds which was helpful so we didn't need to share. The sink was outside the bathroom which was great for when someone is in there showering etc, still able to function without waiting or interrupting. The beds were clean and comfortable. The heater was on (it's the middle of winter) which I appreciated when I arrived. We loved the facilities, particularly the pool and spa although these could've been nicer if they were a tad warmer, but since they were heated and it was the middle of winter I think that's ok and can't really complain.

The bathroom feels a bit grim, but functioned perfectly well, just could do with a window to the outside, perhaps up near the ceiling. The walls weren't very soundproof, I know this because I listened to the man in the neighbouring room snore the entire night. I knew exactly when he fell asleep and awoke.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Apparently they have new owners who are upgrading the property and renovations are under way.

The rooms look like they are under renovation with thoughts that perhaps the prices might be reduced whilst the renovations are underway. The restaurant was closed at the time of our stay.

I liked everything else. The friendly staff and cleanliness especially impressed me.

The only thing I disliked was the mattresses on the beds. They were incredibly uncomfortable and I barely slept. Really unfortunate because there was zero else wrong with the place and I would stay again in a heartbeat if I could get some sleep.

Great friendly staff, great communication, greeted with great respect, accomodating when asked for extra pillow and towels for the spa. The place is currently have some renovations made, but was very good all the same.

That the restaurant was not open but this is in the process off opening soon, they are working hard to do the right things since taking over the management.

My son (7yo) and I thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spa. I loved that the room had a fridge, microwave and breakfast facilities, travelling with our own food is a general need when we are doing a road trip around the state. Also liked that the shower and bathroom sink had shampoo and handwash at hand.

Good location, good price, big enough family rooms/apartments to fit our whole family. Staff were amazing.

It was too cold. The heating wasn't adequate. The living area wasn't overly comfortable, I understand it's hard in such a small space but the couch is really terrible. The dishes weren't clean enough and we had to wash everything we used before using them. Guests shouldn't be left to be responsible for dishes, you don't know if someone has cleaned them properly, it's unhygienic.

This place is good value for the money you pay, they have alot of things to do at the location and its a pretty quiet place

The only thing about the stay that I didn't like was the shower had hair still on the drain and the shower was temperamental and the entrance of the room was dirty
