You can pick one option for breakfast, no buffet, but the portions were big enough to get me through until lunch. The owner/manager is very nice and sees that you can enjoy your stay. The place is very close to the main square, not even 5min walking. 3min in the other direction, you find the alley with the old city wall and some quiet coffe shops.

One side of the matress was very soft and gave me back pain after two nights, the other side of the double bed was much better. The faucet in the bathroom was loose, but worked. I had to close the main tap of the toilet tank after using it, otherwise the water would just flow. Sometimes it took a while until the shower had hot water. But it was ok to deal with for one week :-)

This place exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. My place was more of a suite than a room, with ambience that goes beyond tourist accommodation. There was a large bedroom with a high ceiling, big windows, a comfortable bed and some delightful mementos of the writer commemorated here. There was also a small private kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle. The location is great: a reasonable walk from the train station and just a few minutes to Sibiu’s historic centre on one side and a section of medieval walls and towers on the other side. There are grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, and a self-service laundry within walking distance (in the Habermann Markt, not far past the medieval walls). The #13 bus to the ASTRA Muzeul Satului, a great open air museum, stops on Bulevardul Corneliu Copsu, the first street past the medieval walls. Just one problem: I hated to leave.

Love the location, the proximity to train station and the Old Town. Quiet place and so enjoy refreshing sleep. Plenty of hot water. Happy to stay again if I return to Sibiu which is such an enchanting town to visit.

Disappointed that there were no mugs or glasses to enjoy much needed refreshment after lengthy travel. A couple of teaspoons would be great to enjoy yoghurt purchased. The taps leaked a bit.

This hotel with a special atmosphere is situated within five-minute walk from the main tourist attractions of Sibiu. The room we stayed in was spacious and stylish, and quiet. We liked everything. Also I want to mention very tasty home breakfasts. And I would like to thank Adrian for help! I recommend this place.

Everything was great!

1. The host helped me with the parking while it was impossible to find a place due to festival. Huge shout out for him. 2. The room was spacious with nice bathroom and functional AC. 3. Beds were comfortable sheets were fresh, towels were fresh. 4. Very close to the square, plus for the location. 5. Decent breakfast with coffee was enough to start a day.

Perfect location. Very spacious and ⁹clean room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was modern and also very clean. Breakfast was quite good.

The room had a rather quirky decor. The bedtable lights were very dim and the ambience was not very cozy. It was raining a lot, and the only possibility was to have breakfast outside. It was covered, but not very comfortable in that weather.

The location is probably the main highlight of the room, as it is 3 blocks away from the main square and 10-15 min walk from the train station. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was helpful :)

Wifi was sometimes just a bit out of reach (it would disconnect). The shower smelt damp, and the soap dispenser was broken. Since the tap water is not recommended for drinking, it could be great to have water bottles in the room.

Location is absolutely perfect, and there’s a lovely charm to the property and the inner patio! Bed was SO comfortable! Also a nice plus was very easy self check in, host sending detailed information, no confusion whatsoever. Very kind and attentive staff!

We rented out 3 rooms, the shower in my room didn’t work, so I did shower in my daughter’s room, but it would have been an inconvenience for someone renting just one room. However next day when staff arrived he actioned it straight away, and the truth is just needed extra force to make it work, so it wasn’t actually broken, but it needs to be easy to use, they’ll sort it I’m sure.

We were in town for a music festival and the location couldn't be better! Although very near the main square, the residence was on a quieter street. Our room was upgraded for free so we ended up getting a suite which was lovely with antique architectural detailing on the doors and ceiling! The room itself was very clean and tidy. The residence was quiet and the manager of the property kept us well informed about the check-in/check-out process. We also got some complimentary juice and water which was very appreciated. Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and would definitely visit again!

Great location. The room was spacious, clean and very well equipped. It had a fridge, a TV, hair dryer and even an iron. It was easy to get in touch with the staff and they were very responsive.

The pillows were not to our liking. We would've preferred feather filled pillows, instead of polyester filling. Even though the traffic on the street is pretty chill, whenever a car goes by you hear it. It woke us up a few times during the night. Our bathroom was a bit small, especially when compared to how spacious the room was.
