Everything was really perfect! Jo, as the host was very kind and helpful. Great breakfasts. The location of the Farm is just outstanding - great view to Looe city center from the hill. Perfect place to stay and rest from the loud daily life! Very safe and quiet spot - really helping to reload batteries. It was a pleasure to come back to Bucklawren Farm after the whole day driving and seeing the Cornwall beauty. Just can't find words to describe how wonderfull it was!
There was nothing that I would say here. All was just great and as we planned.

We, as a family of four, have had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this lovely cottage in a picturesque location. Thank you Jo for looking after us so well, the rooms are well decorated with a lovely touch of cake and cookies. Breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed the chats with Jo every morning. She has been a lovely host. The cottage is quintessential English with beautiful artefacts. Our daughter enjoyed playing the piano. Taking back beautiful memories and glad we could celebrate our son’s 21st birthday in this lovely location. Thank you

The hostess, Jo, was friendly, welcoming and served the most outstanding, tasty breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Bucklawren farm was a quiet, peaceful place not far from Looe. It is a working farm, so you saw Jo’s husband out and about on his tractor. That was great! The building is huge, with 5 bedrooms. It is not old or shabby. It is smart, tidy and well-maintained. There were also self-catering cottages next door, where 6-8 ppl can stay. They looked lovely. The price was reasonable and doesn’t seem to fluctuate throughout the year, which is a rarity. Our room overlooked the sea. It was beautiful, clean, modern, with beautiful furniture, a comfy bed and everything you needed was provided. Toiletries were available, as was a hairdryer. There was a mini fridge in the room and we were given fresh milk for our tea. There was even a welcome slice of cake! Nom nom!
Absolutely nothing! If I had to moan, (which is not necessary, but some people moan about even the most perfect of places; so, for you folk) I would say there was nowhere to go of an evening, unless you drive back in to Looe. Therefore, if an evening meal had been an option, that would have been amazing. I appreciate that would be extremely hard work for Jo. She seemed to do everything herself. There was a beautiful conservatory and lounge to sit in and you were welcome to play games or sit and have a glass of wine to chill. That was quite delightful, as you could enjoy the peace of the countryside, look out over the sea and relax.

The view was wonderful. The breakfast was yummy and we could even say how we liked it cooked. The room had everything needed and beds were super comfy. Plenty of space. 2 chairs to sit and look at view. Heating if we needed it. A heated towel rail which actually worked. Lovely cosmetics, even flannels. A fridge! Plenty of hanging space and drawers. Accessible electric sockets. Sensibly placed mirrors. Jo is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She welcomed us in person and took us to our room. Haven't had that in other accomodation for years! To sum up, the accommodation matched that of a high standard hotel without the starchyness and we felt totally at home.
Can't think of a thing!

Host Jo went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, lovely comfortable spotless room with AMAZING sea view. We loved the special bathroom products! Jo also doubled as tourist information giving us great tips & suggestions on what to see, where to go, where to eat & how to get to these places! We felt so comfortable & welcome that we didn’t want to leave!!
There’s absolutely nothing to dislike!

Excellent breakfast, lovely home made marmalade. Jo was always smiling and helpful and interested in making us comfortable. The location was very tranquil and had a lovely view towards the sea. The tortuous narrow roads leading to the farm were well worth the hairy moments to reach the farm.
Nothing negative to say.

We stayed as a last minute get away for 3 nights. Out host was wonderful. A really warm welcome. The rooms are lovely, great size rooms and large shower in our onsuite. The view from our room overlooking looe was the most incredible view I've seen from the hills of looe. The breakfast was delicious, a chose from English breakfast to smoked salmon 😋 👌. We will definitely be staying again hopefully next year. 10 out 0f 10 is an understatement
Nothing at all. It was absolutely fantastic

Very friendly host. Lovely location. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and very good quality. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet stay. We ate at the Copley Arms which is a short drive away and the Inn on The Shore in nearby Downderry which has wonderful sea views. We also had lunch at the Beach House in Seaton, again just a two mile drive away. Great food, friendly locals serving in all three places.
Nothing not to like. I wasnt keen on Looe during the day. I'd recommend to visit early evening when the town is quieter as it was a it packed on a sunny afternoon, but that is just a personal reference.

Very nice comfortable stay, quiet location, beautiful views. Accommodation was quaint and rustic, our room was clean, comfortable and pretty. Jo cooked us a gorgeous breakfast every morning and was she was a lovely, warm and welcoming host. Breakfast was good. Excellent marmalade. Good coffee. Beds firm and very comfortable. Plenty of lounge areas and big garden so in the summer would have been well placed.
A bit remote but directions were good and we found it ok. A real joy to be aware that there was no traffic noise so good nights. We had to drive down to Looe to get dinner and as we were not able to find any pubs within walking distance. Did not try very hard as the weather was terrible!
