We liked that the rooms were clean, they come by every morning to drop off drinks the food is amazing, love the 24 sports bar

Don’t like the reusable plastic cups I think it’s nasty there were guys using the cups to do cupping therapy in the pool and they just rinse it off in water, some of the staffs at the buffet are really rude and the workers at the bars say mean full things and curses to people the don’t speak Spanish and I know this because I speak perfect Spanish

The staff was great, the food and restaurants wee delicious! The rooms were clean and we had a great time at the pool parties and with the activities by the pool

If you are handicap or disabled DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!! They didn’t have any wheelchairs on the property and they wouldn’t give a ride because we weren’t “VIP members” So basically they want you to pay more money for something out of your control. They were not accommodating at all to my needs as a person who had a stroke and has a hard time moving around.

The Hospitality and the professionalism of all staff. Did not feel pressured or hounded for money at all. Staff Always pleasent and trying to create the best experience for you.

Not enough activities during the week and the game rooms had additional charges for every 20 minutes.

I liked everything, the staff was very attentive, all the gardener's/cleaners kept the place looking fabulous from the entrance to the beach.

The only downside that I didn't like was the room, it look outdated. Paint chips everywhere, bathroom tub needs reglazed. The front door was painted white but it looked like it was coming off same for the interior. The safe had no lock or code it was fully opened. The coffee maker was missing the filter to put the coffee. Also there was a lot of wall outlet European style which if trying to connect a regular charger you had to go to the bathroom.

OMG! Again at this lovely place and really i can't even begin to than everyone at Senator for all their help. This time i went with my 11th year old daughter and my mother. Now, let me tell you, my mom is reaaaaally picky about where she eats, where she sleeps, where she sits... i mean... hardest critic ever. Honest. We went for 2 nights 3 day stay and the 1st night we had some snacks at the sports bar, she really liked it. We walked around a little and she found the place lovely, really clean and well kept. Later on we went to have dinner at the general dinning area.. omg! there was a green rice that was superb and there was Chivo (sorry, don't know the correct translation), now why is it important to mention this? because previously she when to 2 REALLY good restaurant in other cities (La Vega and Montecristi) and she tried Chivo out of the best restaurants and she was dissapointed on the taste and overall look (mom is a really good cook, btw) and she tried it on Senator.... SHE LOVED IT! said it was the best Chivo she has tried so far and was amazed it was being serve at a hotel... i told her we were at the best. Later on we went to the show (ROCK SHOW!) loved it! Amazing performance. On the 2nd day my daughter and I decided to treat my mom with a massage session (additional expense) and the staff went beyond me expectations.. she felt like a queen (thanks to Isaura and the spa staff, amazing time) and later on we found in our room a bottle of spakle and food platter to complete the afternoon, IT-WAS-LOVELY. At night we had reservations at the Steak House, (you have to make reservations early in the morning) and no dissapointment at all! really good food, the staff was lovely (we ordered Churrasco, Solomillo and the Chicken Skewers) YUM! Overall the stay was really good, the staff was very polite and soaking in the pool... heaven. Thank you again to everyone for making my mom feel like a queen, make her feel special and pamper her. Thank you so very much.

The only thing i wish you change soon are the bathtubs in the regular rooms, i mean, we getting kinda older and they're dark and deep.. and the lamps near the bed were not there, we need them please!

I liked that there was always an option to eat. The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. We went over the NYE period and the property outdid itself with the selection of dining options.

The rooms in the older part need upgrading... it still has dark woods and the bathroom shower was enclosed which made it feel smaller and dark.

The food was better than expected for an “All inclusive Resort”! The breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. They cook authentic dominican food all meals but especially for lunch and dinner. Front desk staff was always helpful. We stayed in a Luxury Jr. Suite, which was always kept clean by amazing housekeeping. Staff throughout the property were always happy to assist whether it be with drinks, or navigating. The beach is beautiful, the ladies at the beach spa are amazing, all pools were comfortable and never too packed. The Jacuzzi was a little colder than we preferred but it’s okay! Definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to relax or just a vacation!

Poor attention from the pool bartenders

I really loved this resort for the reasons I went for. This was a solo trip for me and I am not a person about excursions or jumping off of waterfalls. I just wanted a resort that was on the beach, all you can eat, and a good gym. Boy did they exceed my expectations. First of all, I think I picked the place because of the gym being large and staffed with personal trainers. Included! And your view while on the treadmill is palm trees and ocean. No matter which one was your room, the pool and the beach was just steps away. Not a lot of walking at all. Everything was close.

My room wasn’t the best. It was ok and I felt comfortable. But the bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain was also dirty. Specifically the shower section needed a good scrub.
