The accommodation is nice with friendly staff. We were here with our dog. The hotel is very dog-friendly. The dog was allowed to have breakfast with us. He had a blanket (which you can buy at the end of the stay for about 25 euros) ready in his room, plus he had treats, a water bowl and poop bags. Perfect hotel to stay with your dog.

What we are not used to is handing the car keys to the valet and entrusting him with our car. We usually leave some of our things in the car and not taking everything to the room and that was not an option because we couldn't get to the parking lot where the car was unless the valet would bring it to us again in front of the hotel. In the conditions there is written that the hotel is not responsible for damages caused by parking and besides you are not the one who parks the car and actually the whole stay you do not know where your car is. But of course it is Monaco, where the crime rate is about zero.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. We had a lovely room facing the rose gardens and it was very peaceful, considering that it was the most intense time possible to be in Monaco.

I have to give a big shout out to the staff who were very professional and really very nice. We were always met with a very positive attitude and above all I would like to highlight the guys at the entrance (wallet parking) who looked after our car and always welcomed us very kindly - they were really great and always happy to give advice and help with luggage. The room was nice, but a little smaller and we had paid extra for a better room. A little cramped bathroom. Very good soundproofing of the room, no one really disturbed us. We traveled with two small dogs and I think they had all the comfort and were satisfied :-) .

The breakfast is a bit weaker. It wasn't bad, but we've had much better. I give it 7/10.

The fact that there was no room compendium, only QR codes which were a pain. The balcony door didn’t have an external handle making it difficult to return inside. No face cloth with the bathroom linen (it’s good to have a black face cloth for women removing their makeup). The drawer holding the coffee machine and crockery wouldn’t stay open which was frustrating. Suggestion: A set of weighing scales held with the concierge would be helpful.

Great hotel far cheaper than any other hotels in Monaco - still provides top class service, great food, location, swimming pool, concierge service etc - Monaco is so small that you can walk everywhere from the hotel and if you need a taxi the concierge can get one to the door within minutes, every member of staff makes a point of saying hello when you see them, towels provided for the pool and much more - 10/10

The only thing I wasn't expecting was a €500 deposit required on arrival - it wasn't a big deal and it was returned as soon as I checked out but if you were on a tighter budget having €500 tied up might be an issue - again though it was returned at checkout and I can understand why they take a deposit so no problem

We enjoyed an impeccable weekend at the Columbus Hotel, the staff were great, the location for me was perfect in the west part of the city, the room was everything I expected and more. Definitely take the upgrade to Riviera rooms with a terrace and sea view as the day starts with coffe on the terrace and ends with drinks on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Breakfast is not good at all, little choice and mediocre in quality. Apart from the fact that you purchase breakfast, if you would like eggs, bacon or sausage you have to pay additionally again, incomprehendable to me for such a great hotel. I suggest to book the room with terrace and get your own breakfast from the hypermarket, which by the way opens at extremely early hours already

There is some problem between the staff, lack of coordination maybe, I paid for the dog on our arrival and was promised a dog kit which they didn’t provide, the next day another receptionist was surprised that we have a dog, and while checking out they wanted me to pay for the stay although I did it upon arrival. It’s not a big deal but still a bit annoying that you need to explain yourself twice in a hotel of this kind.

I loved the hotel even though: I wanted to change my booking from 20 July to 19th July. The booking was changed, but the hotel was not notified by Booking.com that the payment for the 20th should be rassigned to the booking of the 19th July. I really would appreciate a refund.

I requested a change in my booking, but ended up paying because the money was not transferred to the new date. This was not a cancelation, but just a change in dates. I humbly request a refund.

My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Girona was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat during my trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, where the breakfast was absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere and great food made every meal a highlight. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and warm hospitality!

The staff went over and above to assist us, we arrived early for check-in and asked to store our bags, they were in fact able to move rooms around and let us have access straight away! staff were all polite, and everyone went out of their way to help us - including giving us a lift to the station when we hadn't booked one!
