Very nice place to stay for visit Luang Prabang city and old city area, the room was ok, near you can find all your needs. A lots of things to do. Staff was lovely, helpfull and friendly. I have been there and just booked again, couse you will feel like a prince there. Cheers Pier & Carmen

Nothing, everythings was ok !

The whole hotel is very clean, quiet and serene. The property is well maintained and safe. It is in a really good location for main sightseeing in Luang Prabang such as the morning Alms Giving (a short 5-10 min walk away), Mount Phousi, night markets, evening river cruises. It is also walking distance to plenty of restaurants, cafes and places to get a drink. Our room had a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. The shower water pressure was very good. The bed was very comfortable and there was Aircon and a fan. The pool area is nice and relaxing and there is a bar very close to be able to get drinks and snacks as you laze by the pool. The water in the pool was clean, and the lounges are comfortable. There are pool umbrellas which are needed in the hot afternoon sun. Breakfast area is lovey - overlooking the pool. The range of food available for breakfast included western style foods (omelets, eggs, bacon, sausages) and some salads and fruits, as well as some Asian breakfast options.

As the breakfast area looks over the pool, there is no swimming before 10am, Or after 7pm. No gym.

Our room was Garden Wing Room on the ground floor. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bonus for me was a bed!! I found that a bed mattress in South East Asia generally seemed quite hard and I wake up with back pain, stiff shoulders and neck pain every morning, however, this hotel put extra topper on the mattress! It was so comfortable and I had a good sleep. Breakfast was excellent. It is a buffet style and lost of selection from Asian food to European. All staff members are friendly and professional. They are willing to help me to meet my request.

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. Great location. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. We really loved the character of the hotel and the salt water swimmingpool. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms. Near downtown but in a quiet green area. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is less than 5-minutes walk from the Night Market yet the neighborhood is very quiet. Staff is super nice and do their best to accommodate their guests and go above and beyond. The spa definitely worth a mention. It is surely more expensive than what you would pay by walking in other spas but it worth every penny. If I ever travel to Luang Prabang again, I will be staying here again! Thank you for creating long-lasting memories!

It was in a perfect location for most of the attractions in Luang Prabang (only needed a taxi for the Kuang si waterfalls) the hotel was beautifully kept, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The gardens were well looked after and after a morning sightseeing it was great to cool off in the wonderful pool. An old palace of the Prince that has been lovingly converted to a great hotel!

It's the second time I've decided to stay at Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel: anytime I come back to Luang Prabang, I'll do it again. The hotel is located near the city center, all bars and restaurants are near. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is always proactive. Each room has a balcony, which adds privacy and freedom at the same time.

The main building is the former the residence of the late Prince Souvanna Phouma. Rooms were a good size, and the whole vibe has a sense of history. Breakfast was simple and fresh, served by the pool. Location of the hotel is just outside of the main drag, which we appreciated. Quite, but very accessible by walk or Tuktuk. We were greeted at the hotel by the lovely staff with a cold beverage and cold towels scented with lemon grass. Nice touch. The pool was clean and crisp, which provided relief from the hot climate. Happy hour at 4pm was a looked forward to event. As most of the town primarily accepts KIP, the hotel was kind enough put some of the bigger expenses on the bill to let us settle at the end, ie- Transportation for the day, pottery house, ect.

All in all, no complaints.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the garden. The bed was very comfortable and large! Air conditioning worked well which was great because it was hot outside. Friendly staff and daily room service if you wanted it. Overall we would stay here again.

The breakfast was included but the food was ok, and the service was a bit slow. We ordered off of the menu on the weekend and the portions were small and eggs Benedict included only one small poached egg on a piece of white bread. On Monday they had a buffet which had more choices than on the menu. There is a lovely pool by the restaurant which was large enough to swim laps…there were plenty of lounge chairs but only a couple of umbrellas? I asked for one and they took one of two that were in the restaurant. More umbrellas are needed to make sitting by the pool more enjoyable and would be a welcome relief from the heat.

The hotel is a short walk to the Centre of Luang Prabang. The staff were wonderful. A special thanks to the manager Victor who looked after us during our five night stay. Rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Good swimming pool which is well maintained.

Property is a little tired in common areas.
