Massive room sizes, large bathrooms with gorgeous bathtub. The balcony was large with hanging wines for privacy. The kids loved the pool with a good amount of shallow end and deeper end. So many hanging vines throughout the property. A fun pool table we played in the afternoon and free shuttle bus to the beach and Bali collective shops every two hours. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops and convenience stores and massage shops. We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect.

This hotel has the feel of "old" Bali, which is how it would have been in the day. If you are after plush, this is not the hotel for you; if you like the feel and look of yesterday's Bali hotels, you will love this place. The hotel is kept very clean, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The location is great, as everything is within walking distance. There are stairs here, it is a multi-level hotel, and as mentioned, it is an older style hotel, so only a few lifts. We only had breakfast here, and it was okay, it fuelled the tank before our walk or outing. There are plenty of places to go eat if it isn't to your liking. We loved this place for its ambience and location. The reception was very welcoming on arrival, and our room was lovely; we had a room with pool access. The bed was comfortable, the room was very well airconditioned, curtains were light, so we had our privacy but still got some natural light. The pool was so relaxing, and there was a bar close by.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, elegant and sophisticated. The pool area is fantastic. The hotel's landscaping is wonderful and conveys peace and balance. The room we stayed in was large, with a balcony facing the pool area. The bed is very big and comfortable. The cleaning is impeccable. The breakfast is excellent and complete. But the best thing about The Gran Bali Nusa Dua is its staff, who are polite, courteous, professional and attentive to the smallest details to make guests feel great. I felt great peace and tranquility during the seven days I stayed at the Hotel. When I return to Bali, I will definitely stay at The Gran Bali Nusa Dua again.

The work area needs to be a little brighter.

The exceptional service was amazing from the check in to the check out everyone was so lovely. I loved this hotel as it was small and not crowded so perfect for my needs. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and the bed super comfy. The pool area was so lovely and the beach shuttle service was awesome. Short walk to restaurants and shops with plenty of choice.

Breakfast could be slightly better but it was adequate.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to restaurants, supermarkets and stores. There is a transfer every 2 hours to the hotel's private beach free of charge. All the hotel's facilities are spotless, and the pool is cleaned and treated every day. The pool water is cleaned daily. The room faced the pool and was super spacious, with a huge bed, and the bath and shower were phenomenal. The massages are divine, you can relax and unwind. The staff are all impeccable. The hotel has a computer room which was very useful for us to do business. Congratulations on the hotel and see you soon

It's just that the beach has a lot of rocks, but that's not the hotel's fault.

My husband and I enjoyed to relax at the warm water pool. Two amazing big pools and the room was great too, with air conditioning and big bathroom. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was okay, but could be a bit cheaper because the meals are not too great... We had some different plates, and the best was Beef strogonoff. They have shuttle to the beach but you can go walking, around 20 min too.

The room (plus en suite) was very spacious, elegant, well-appointed, and very close to both the pool and the restaurant - which we had requested - could not have been better located. The pools were crystal clear and a nice temperature. It isn't a party hotel (at least when we were there) and the whole place was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was extensive and varied - a mix of Western and Indonesian offerings, and there was an egg-pancake-waffle station. The regular shuttle service to and from the hotel's lovely private "beach club" worked really well, although it wasn't a huge walk from the property anyway (about 2.3 km). There were 6-8 nice low- to mid-budget warungs and restaurants for an inexpensive dinner each night - all within about 300 metres. Staff in every department were excellent, friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. Can recommend this property if you seek somewhere quiet, relaxed, and very friendly.

The private "beach club" is excellent for still-water sea swimming - the best we've had in Bali - however if low tide falls between about 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, the water is too shallow, and swimming is not possible, so the pools at the hotel are better. A sign in the lobby showing tides times (especially low tide) would be a great addition, and we suggested this to reception staff. The hotel is not on the beach, however it isn't a really long walk, while the upside is that restaurants and shops are right at your door. However Nusa Dua does not have the shopping / dining "buzz" of the strips in Sanur, Kuta, Legian, or Seminyak (although the quiet, overall elegance, and the beach make up for this).

it was such a peaceful oasis in busy Nusa Dua. Large bathroom, with an amazing shower, one of the best we’ve come across in Bali. Spacious bedroom. Two Large pools. Excellent staff everywhere. very clean.

The beds were a little on the firm side. Since we are over 70 we now like a softer topping. BUT would definitely not have bothered us when we were younger, plus we slept really well.

A good variety of cold/ hot foods,both western& traditional Indonesian. Freshly baked pastries n egg & pancke station.
