Nice little apartment set out, central for exploring, supermarket and village market within close proximity to have a self cooked meals.

Very noisy, thin walled heritage property with timber floors, if your a light sleeper don’t book this property, if you have large suitcases or luggage in numbers, don’t books this property,they make this quite clear that there is no elevator, but the staircases are quite steep, there’s three floors in total, apartments are numbered by floor, so if you have 309 you are on the third floor, and so on, the shower in our Deluxe suite is quite good, but the toilet is extremely small in a restricted space beside the shower( don’t book here if you are any sort of plus size).

The location is close to everything, pretty much walkable. The place is huge with 3 beds and three bathrooms. It has all of the amenities a person could need. I really liked this place and it’s a great price.

I personally like a front desk that has a real person, but with that said, the online staff was responsive and provided me with the information that I needed. The only negative was that they were slow to respond to my texts . If they could speed that part up no complaints from me.

I got used to the stairs. I always can use a few extra step and stairs are my preference. The people especially Debra is super nice. Chose a corner unit and it’s great. Lots of light and hustle and bustle on the street below reminds you you’re in Long Beach. I love the old architecture. A old brick building appeals to me. Original wood plank floors, tub and tile. Kitchenette is the perfect size. Skyline view in any direction. Stairs and luggage are the only downfall. I’ve extended my stay just to avoid moving my luggage🙃

The property was beautiful. Loved how it felt homey, and comfortable. There is no elevator, so stairs it was but that’s okay!! The room was so cute, and it felt like home. Everything was so nice and clean, smelt super fresh. Loved how it had windows you could open to get some fresh air. Area is okay, but we felt safe enough to sleep with the windows wide open. Little liquor store across the way, super convenient. Parking is a little tuff, unless you pay for parking thru the hotel. I suggest reversing a spot a head of time, because once the day of your reservation comes it goes up $15. Also have to be approved to park there, and then have to pick up a parking pass from room #1.

It’s a little hard not having someone there that you can talk to in person, also there is not direct number to call anyone. Had to wait an hour to be approved for parking, which was kind of inconvenient. Also you book the room thinking all your paying is what it say ex booking.com said it was $115 well then after taxes it was $162, understand. But they leave out that your gonna have to pay $200 for a deposit, and it’s do as you are completing the steps of checking in, after I’m guessing if you don’t pay that you don’t get your room number nor the front door number. I don’t know, it was just kind of a big hit I guess, lots of money for a deposit. Still waiting for it to come back, it’s now been 4 days.

FANTASTIC hotel for the price! I stayed in room 309 and it was an entire apartment with THREE bathrooms, TWO bedrooms, a WASHER AND DRYER in-unit, and a HUGE kitchen with small kitchenware in case you'd like to cook something up! The bathrooms were beautiful, the master one was amazing with his and hers sinks and an insane amount of space. The shower? I only wish it had a different showerhead but besides that? AMAZING. The staff was out of the way and the times I did interact with them, they were kind and respectful. The area itself? Walking heaven! There are tons to do and if you don't want to drive, park your car and jump on the metro or the free shuttle that runs around! Either way, amazing hotel that exceeded my expectations and I will be booking again!

Original architecture exterior. The location in the tiny spot in Long Beach. Full kitchen. Nice shower/bath. The function of the old windows so cool. The fact that the owner had the idea to put windows on the inside to insulate from weather but leave those amazing original widows installed. Loved that.

The flights stairs will only kill you if you’ve got a bag or two or three 😰 stairs don’t bother me unless I must carry heavy dead weight. The bed was broken. The legs on the support frame were broken— it moved when I moved in the night -squeaky etc . Very Hard to sleep. The extremely loud drunks in 2 bars on the lower floor and 1 in the surrounding area . I’ve stayed at two other little hotels on the same street with the very same issue with the noise from the bars feels like those loud shouting drunk people are literally inside the room. I think that’s weird but Long Beach doesn’t care much about ordinances.

The hotel make hold on a 200 USD from your credit card as a deposit before recieving your check in codes for the hotel and the room. This was not mentioned before confirming the booking which is non refundable. Also the hotel put additional 200USD on hold by mistake. The hold was released 3-4 days after check out.

Nice, clean room. Access was easy. Parking was conveniently located right next to hotel. Food options and beach areas were nearby.

Too many emails and text messages. Only need one or two very clear communications. The reservation process was cumbersome with the various deposits and verifications. Extra fees and costs were unappreciated. A $167 quote ended up being $235 after taxes, fees and parking. Only issue with the Penthouse room was the couch. It is totally devoid of cushioning. Painful to sit on. Otherwise, the Penthouse was wonderful.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the location of the hotel gets pretty noisy at night. Lots of loud people partying and possible homeless people. Nothing ear plugs can’t solve though!

This is a charming apartment complex in a great location! Easy check-in process and rooms are clean and roomy. The small kitchenette is a really nice touch.

There's nothing not to like about this place. It's an older building with no elevator, so of course, it's a challenge to physically carry your bags up 2 or 3 flights of stairs, But this is clearly explained on the website, and it's not as if you have to do it every day.
