Plenty of parking. A real person on hand to talk to at checking in. One room had an extension cable which was needed. The table tennis facility was a huge bonus for my autistic grandson but there was a big group of youngsters who came in and had to walk through our game to get in and out of the large downstairs area. The dining table could have been swapped with the table tennis table to avoid this. Having a fridge to put food in was very useful

A Socket next to each bed or an extension cable in each room. Bigger towels - bath towel not just hand towel size The soap dispenser hadn't been refilled - too late when in the bath .....

The staff were helpful. They weren't overbearing, once shown to our room we weren't bothered! They allowed me early check in which was amazing! Room was big enough and comfortable. Staff seem very easy going!

When I first arrived even though I was allowed early check in the greeting I received wasn't overly welcoming. When shown to my room it was upstairs and there was no lift, the man showing me to my room didn't offer me any help with my bags and it was a struggle.. I had 2 big bags and a suitcase. He raced up the stairs miles ahead of me.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, always on hand to help with any issues and make our stay comfortable. Also the price was great and the place was very clean

Cheap and cheerful. Facilities were a bit basic and had more of a hostel vibe than a hotel but wasn't an issue for us and the staff took good care of us

Location, perfect for trips to the west and east. I must include that the previous occupant of my room has left a bad review because there was no hot water, i had a piping hot bath, but took a short while to come on. People are impatient and also. You get what you pay for!! It was good value.0

Lovely welcome from staff, plus later phonecall to check all was okay. Room was very clean, fresh and well equipped. It was a great touch they had opened the window and closed the curtains prior to my arrival as it was a very hot day. Very quiet overnight, slept soundly. Shower good and everything you needed was in the room. Location pleasant for an evening walk.

Very old building with a great need of renovation inside except the bar, which wasn't open, but we still can use the sitting area.

Bathroom, toilet wasn't secured to the floor. Stairway carpet was dangerous.

The only thing I recommend is to change hotel localisation on Booking app as it lead to wrong street/property

For the price it matched my expectations. Clean room. Clean bedding. Hot shower. Privacy. It was exactly what we needed after being rained out of camping for the night
