Close to the beach, close to everywhere we wanted to see. Good breakfast. One of the Maintenace men was extremely polite. The transformer had gone out, and our keys would not work, Rebecca was amazing by meeting us at our room and went back down to get keys to work. She went above and beyond by coming back and forth until keys worked. As we checked out, the lobby clerk asked how our stay was and apologized for any inconvenience. That really means a lot, although it was not the fault of the hotel it was acknowledged, which to me means a lot. Thank You Staff at Holiday Inn Express. We will return.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was good. There was variety, and it was a good hot breakfast. The view from the room was nice. Right on the water. The bed was super comfortable and it was a very nice room altogether. Very impressive.

There was supposed to be a checkout option on the TV at the end of our stay, but the only two options were "request late checkout" and "extend my stay." Not a big deal tho. I could still see my final bill. Checking out at the front desk wasn't inconvenient in any way. I was just concerned that the display on the TV literally said "check out using the options below," but the option wasn't there.

The property is a spin off of the old Emerald Beach hotel but 100000x better. Friendly front desk, eco friendly water bottles given at checkin to use at their clean water station, rooms were just as described in the photos, AC was working and on when I got into the room. Comfortable beds, semi view of the bay, black out curtains, breakfast in the morning, safe entrance with room key only and tons of parking. This will be my go-to place to stay from now on. Right on the bay and close to downtown. A perfect place to stay and very reasonable prices.

Everything was good

We loved the cleanliness of the property and our room…Shout out to Amy who made sure our room was sparkling! The breakfast was really nice, the staff was as well. The location, right on the beach, had a gorgeous view of the bay. Had a great time!

The air conditioner would go in and off all night, may want to make sure the fan is on constant to avoid this. Kept me awake most of the night. There is also an overpowering smell of room freshener in the lobby that is way too strong!

It's right on the beach, Rooms were large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating, Included breakfast was substantial enough to fill my tank. It's pet friendly (we took our dog), but there were no signs that a pet had ever been in the room. Also, pets are not allowed in common areas. We stayed for 2 nights and plan to stay again next time we go to Corpus Christi.

Parking was $10 a day.

I did not like that staff or housekeeping knocked on my door way before 11 AM check out and woke me up for no reason when I had my alarm on I thought that was very rude. The property was not full of cars so there was plenty of other rooms to clean before mine and the thing that I did not like about the property was, it’s connected to a rundown hotel Emerald Beach hotel, which brings down its value aesthetically

Clean, nice rooms, have everything you may need: microwave, little fridge, ironing board, etc. Nice restroom. Great ocean views, just steps away from fishing spots, and the beach. The front desk attendant is very nice. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good. They charge 10 for the parking. However, okit was a very good value for the price I paid.

Beachfront location

Our windows were dirty and as soon as 9:30 hit staff shut the breakfast area right away without asking if we needed anything else as we were just sitting down eating and lots of garbage on the beach in front of hotel. Mattresses were not that comfortable.

Loved the place the food was good. The whole hotel was super clean! Really comfortable beds!!!! Everyone was so nice as well!

Evidently a fight was going on close by. The spectators parked in the parking lot making it so the customers of the hotel couldn't park. I ended up parked in a fire lane for several hours until the fight was over

I loved that the beach was just a walk away. The receptionist who booked my stay was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful!

The website needs to inform us that the parking is not included in the stay. And that we need to pay with a credit card to purchase your stay (no cash). They also need to inform you about the 100.00$ hold fee.
