The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast area was small, but very clean. The continental breakfast selection was not extensive, but included a couple of hot options (e.g. waffles, eggs) which was a nice change from other smaller hotels. Although we did not use it, the hotel also had a small Bar counter with a selection of available drinks. There was also a reasonable selection of frozen and quick-serve food items for purchase. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The front lobby/check-in area was also part of the breakfast/bar serving area. It was a little crowded and noisy, but very clean.

The place was super clean, beds were comfy with fluffy pillows, shower had amazing pressure and heat, and the location was perfect for us to travel everywhere we wanted to go in the area. Also, I really enjoyed that they have pumpkin spice waffles to be seasonal for breakfast!

The 2 main reasons we weren't completely satisfied with our stay are that we didn't get any room service cleaning done to our rooms, even though we stated we wanted that on the form we had to fill out when we arrived, and the breakfast was good but they kept running out of things. They eventually would bring out more, but we just didn't have the time to sit there and wait and just filled up on what was available, which was still very yummy.

While traveling back from Texas & New Mexico, we spent several nights at different hotels. The Cobblestone Hotel & Suits was the nicest hotels in the price range of 75.00 and without the hidden fees. Many hotels Like the EconoLodge, Motel 6, Supper 8 etc. charged more than Cobblestone Hotel by $ 50.00 or more and where not as nice. The bathrooms were clean, and the tub was like new, unlike other hotels that have clean rooms but bathtubs that are old and warren out.

only complaint would be that the elevator was not working.

Staff, location, access to primary roads, close to stores and restaurants. Pool water well treated. Washer/dryer were inexpensive and worked well. Coffee/tea/cocoa available 24/7 and free. Excellent value for money.

AC filters very dirty from someone in past smoking in room. Breakfast bar would run out of items fairly fast. Coffee was not kept warm during off hours. Push buttons on tv remotes sucked. (too flush and hard to know what button being pushed without looking). Need to get bath exhaust fan working. (Don't worry too much about the tv remote thing. It's a surfing guy thing. LOL!) A second chair for rooms with multiple beds would have been nice. (back was killing me from sitting on bed after 2nd day)

Everything. Room and breakfast were great. The bed was really soft which I found to be super comfortable, not everyone likes a soft bed so I can’t form an opinion on that for others.

Doesn’t have an elevator if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or infants (car seat carrying) or like to have your breakfast in your room. It could use another chair in the room, only has a desk chair at the table. The driveway is hard to get in and out of due to traffic and location. It’s basically right across from the college campus. There’s also not any lit signage for the driveway, I’m from the area originally so I knew exactly where I was going already, but others may have issues at night or in bad weather.

Property was clean, convenient to Lake Erie, offered us electric hookups for our boat each night, and staff were exceptionally helpful. The hot breakfast was very welcome to start off the day.

We were locked out of our room for about 15 minutes due to the deadbolt latch somehow engaging itself when the door shut. I managed to break into the room, but staff assisted promptly and the door/latch were fixed upon our return that evening.

When I came in to get my room it was completely unavailable 🤦🏾‍♂️ so I was so frustrated because I paid for the room 2 weeks in advance and kiona at the front desk was very helpful and found me my room and it was amazing with the way she was able to fix the situation and find my room with booking being a third party and that was so amazing

Stores were a little too far and the place Alfie's where we ordered food from was terrible and salty and greasy and ran my blood pressure up they should not put they menus in the hotel 🤬

Clean,friendly staff, great price, comfortable bed.

The loud doors in the middle of the night. I was woken out of my sleep multiple times by the other room doors closing. I took this trip as a day to get away and relax which included me taking a bubble bath. I was unsuccessful because the tub stopper wouldn't stay closed and it let out all of the water. The hot breakfast was decent but I wish there were more choices. There was corn beef hash, waffles and eggs.

Pretty much everything except as noted below. Water in bathtub wouldn't go down but once I called the main desk they sent someone to remove clog.

No elevator made it difficult for us as seniors to go to the second floor. Breakfast was ok except for eggs. Scrambled eggs were good. Others were awful. Would have liked bacon but just a personal preference.

This is our second stay here, as we just stayed here last month. Once again, we had, Jarrod, (I think that is his name), check us in and check us out. He is so friendly and accommodating. For a couple, this place is great, it was quiet and is a basic hotel for everything we needed. especially since we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel until the evening. kids many be a little bored as the only entertainment for them is the pool. The hotel room is homey, clean, and the breakfast is pretty good for being included (bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, waffle maker, sausage, etc.). There was plenty of parking and once again we enjoyed sitting on the back patio, behind the pool, in the evening. It was quiet and peaceful. The location is away from all the noise and traffic, but also isn't too far from Peach St area where everything is. We didn't swim this time, but we did check out the pool and the water was nice and warm, an improvement from last time. This is the place we plan to stay at whenever we go to Erie, I highly recommend.

Our only little complaint was, I think the person on the night shift didn't stock everything for breakfast, as we ran out of yogurt, creamer, forks, coffee, etc...I felt bad for Jerrod because he just came on shift and was running around stocking everything since everyone was asking for things. He never complained, was still very friendly, and had everything stocked up in no time.
