The staff was efficient and courteous, it's right next to the highway, but I was on the other side of the building and couldn't hear any noise from the highway at all. The room was cleaned almost perfectly, and my bed was comfortable. First thing I do is lift the mattress and check for bugs, no problem, no creepies, no droppings, no problem! My room was bug free aside from a stink bug that came in through the gap in the door.

There was a small complimentary coffee maker in my room, It was an unexpected delight, but it was pretty dirty inside so I refrained from using it. The flapper valve on the toilet was leaky (room 128 if staff reads this) and it caused the toilet to run every 15 minutes or so, not a big problem for me, but I hate to think of the water that's wasted there. Also, the door needed adjustment to meet the seals, light showed clearly through the gap, again, not a problem for me, but more resources wasted and paid for by the owner so problems for them. In all, the things that fell short were things I never expected or had no effect on my stay.

This is a great property in many ways, especially due to their amazing staff. As a returning guest, they always attempt to place you, in your favorite room. You're greeted with kindness, and a smile as well. The housekeeping staff is exceptional. The Superior King rooms are spacious, clean, and bright. After more than 100 nights (2024) as a guest there, I can truly recommend this motel. It's located directly adjacent to I-90, and 5 minutes from the casino. Downtown Erie, and the lakefront are 15 minutes away by car.

This is a great property, with an even better staff. It's necessary for me to find hotel accommodations, on a regular basis do to my business. I have stayed at this Red Roof, 70 plus nights this year. I have never been disappointed. As with any property some rooms, and or their location are better than others. However all rooms have been clean, comfortable, and adequate size. The front desk has always gone out of their way, to make my stays pleasant. Highly recommended, if you don't mind a 10 minute drive into the city.

The WiFi in this particular room was somewhat intermittent. However everything else was excellent.

There was no visible signage of ( Red Roof Inn >> ) to direct travelers from main highway into the side road accessing your Red Roof Inn ! I nearly had a head-on collision with a tractor trailer when mistaking your access entrance road for the exit ramp of I-90 ! ! ! You have to have signage for Red Roof inns @ main highways ! We can’t guess in the dark of night , until we travelers finally discover that we have to enter McDonald’s Restaurant driveway and edge to the right of ( drive through lane ) sliver into a narrow road to Red Roof Inn !

The room was clean, the staff was kind and accommodating, and it was pet friendly, which was essential for us. Having a room with a private entrance was a big bonus since we came in late and had a lot to unload. It was easy to check in and everything was so clean. As a single woman traveling with a young child, a cat, and a car full of our most precious items, I felt safe and secure in our room, and the bed was incredible after a long day in the car.

The room had a lingering smell of smoke, even though it was a smoke-free room. It was very stale, like the smoke was from years ago, but still noticeable. I also would have liked to have conditioner in the shower. My only other suggestion is to have more noticeable signage at the entrance on the road - it was hard to navigate in the dark and the sign by the road was very small and not well-lit.

As a busy manager of multiple Bed and Breakfast properties, I frequently stay here when we are sold out. It's a no frills experience, however I am most always happy. The staff is very cordial, and greet you with a smile. I prefer the superior king rooms, which are more than adequate. Everything you can need, or want is there. The property is clean, and well maintained. There's always a staff member doing something, to clean, or improve the outside areas. Slightly out of the way for Presque Isle, or downtown Erie, however well worth the distance. Highly recommend for a motel experience.

I have the opportunity to stay at hotels, and or motels on a regular basis. I routinely choose this particular property. The staff is always cordial, and the rooms are more than adequate, for the average traveler. I prefer the superior king rooms, which are modern, clean, and bright. There is ample free parking, throughout the motel grounds. A designated outside smoking area, helps keep the property clean as well. The location is in very close proximity of I90, however slightly out of the way for downtown activities. Overall for the value, clean rooms, and staff, you will be well pleased.

As a regular guest here, I am usually well pleased. Obviously as with any hotel, some rooms are nicer than others. Overall, I have NO complaints.

It's been necessary for me to stay, at a hotel/motel multiple time's this past year. I most always choose this property, despite driving by many others. The front desk staff is exceptional! They always greet you with a smile, and attempt to accommodate any special requests. There are multiple room types to choose from, my preference being their superior kings. The rooms are more than adequate size, and housekeeping always has them nicely cleaned, and ready. Overall a great mid-priced motel! Highly recommend

Easy to get to right off the highway. Very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable.

The towels are old and need replaced. The door to the room needs to have the locks and handles replaced and a threshold replaced because there are gaps that let the cold air in from the outside. Women traveling alone might feel a little concerns about the security of those doors as they lead right to the outside and they look questionable.

As a frequent guest at this particular property, I am usually well satisfied. It's a no frills motel, however it's very well run, and the guest rooms are nicely kept up.The front desk staff are very pleasant, and greet you with a smile. It has all the amenities, that most travelers need for one, or more days. The location makes it, about a 10 minute drive, in to the city and waterfront.There are multiple other hotel choices in the area, however this Red Roof Inn is certainly worth considering.
