I was very pleased with how clean the facility was. The amenities were very basic but clean and in good condition. The staff was very pleasant. I did not check out anything except the room and breakfast. Because the hotel is in close proximity to two highways, you can hear highway sounds at night, but it did not keep me up. The bed was comfortable.

A lot of people slammed their doors throughout the day and evening. It might be a good idea to install door closers to reduce the sound. There was no full length mirror which is helpful when you dress for an occasion. Keep up the great work with the cleaning and maintenance!!!

The location of the hotel is convenient for those with a car but not easily accessible without one. The only food options within walking distance was a diner or the bar of the hotel across the road. There was a liquor store across a busy road. The room was spacious, clean and reasonably updated. It had a view of the roundabout. A basic breakfast was provided. The dining area was small so go early. It was regularly cleaned and restocked by a lovely lady. We were able to walk into downtown in about 45 minutes. Not too bad but very tiring coming back. Reception staff were friendly and efficient.

I wouldn't go back unless I had a car. I thought the position was downtown but it is really surrounded by freeways. Perfect with a car but pricey.

Very Friendly staff in all departments, very helpful with any issues needing attention, breakfast was not bad for a cold breakfast only. Only uncomfortable dining area, no ability to respect people's space rubbing people's body as squeezing thru tables and counter only big enough for the equipment, no work space on counter. Other then an uncomfortable dining experience the overall stay was very pleasant, thank you Howard Johnson....

Dining area with constant touching people due to extreme small capacity room, invading people's space rubbing each other to get food or drink. Very uncomfortable rubbing and touching as squeezing thru tables and sometimes knocking chairs over for lack of space to get thru.

Shampoo and conditioner were small and ineffective (no lather with shampoo), room was narrow, right by the highway so we could hear the noise from the cars and trucks passing.

The room was great for a solo traveler. Single bed that was very comfy. The room itself was stylish and comfy. The desk placement was perfect to use my laptop and watch TV. The 3 ball lamp in the corner was a nice touch to the aesthetics. The bathroom was clean and spacious as I am a bigger person. Plenty of room! Biggest perk was an AC that actually went below 67 degrees! Most hotels I have stayed at lock the AC to 66-67 degrees at the lowest. This place's AC went all the way to 60 degrees!

The ONLY dislike I had was where the hotel is next to a busy road I could hear big rigs use their jake brake. This of course is not the fault of the hotel. As far as regular traffic, I never heard a peep.

When we arrived late after 12 hours driving through heavy rain, the gentleman on the desk lost no time to had the room assigned for us. The conversation with him was refreshing and gave us the feeling to be welcomed. Just sitting and looking carefully how the room was prepared for me as the guest - I had the feeling the houskeeping staff cares about my wellbeing. I felt the personal responsibility, everything was prepared with „a soul“- the folded towels, the cleanliness of each corner, how everything was layed out. We especially appreciated all thoughts which went into our safety during our stay. We had to check out before the official opening time of the breakfast room - but we were offered already access to food and coffee.

Robbin, Guest Service Manager was very friendly and pleasant and helpful on the phone and in person. Nice to meet him in person. Liked that the motel was on the smaller size. Beds were very comfortable and motel was very quiet at night. Slept very well.

Hot water in shower, was not anywhere near 120 %, more like body temp which is not comfortable. Could use more USB ports near bed.

The toilet seat was dirty and I had to clean it with some hand sanitizer. The light in the bathroom was pretty dark.

The site is very convenient for us. The place is clean. It was easy to get to our room. The breakfast was adequate.

There are no towel racks in the bathroom!! Where are you supposed to hang your wet towels and washcloths? We hate duvet covers. No blankets, so you are either too hot or you are too cold just under the top sheet. There were no electrical outlets at the desk area and few places to plug in devices.

Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower (and bath), great breakfast -- the breakfast buffet was especially good; a cut above what we usually find at this level of hotel, and the "breakfast lady" was particularly helpful and friendly.

This is a nit-picky thing, but the key cards for the room were super temperamental, requiring multiple swipes to work (one time my husband and I counted, and it took 60 swipes to register!
